Chapter 2.1 Jotaro

Inside a certain room in the Morioh Grand Hotel.

Just as Jotaro was about to flip to the next page of the marine biology book in his hands, a phone, which was placed on a nearby table suddenly rang.

After a moment of hesitation, Jotaro got up from his chair, on instinct, Jotaro hesitated to answer the phone, but after only a moment, he remembered that Akira Otoshi, and his very annoying stand, was defeated.

"Hello, who is this?"

Hearing the answer coming from the other side of the phone, a slight frown appeared on Jotaro's face, but a moment later, that frown disappeared, being replaced by shock.

Right now, even Jotaro's normally stoic face was full of shock as he heard the words coming from the phone.

"Did you find any leads?" asked Jotaro before he stopped speaking listening to the words coming from the other side of the phone, the frown on his face returning.

After a few moments, Jotaro regained his bearings, finally deciding what to do.

"You guys continue to investigate both Polnareff's death and the possible location of the arrow, I will come to assist you as soon as the situation here in Morioh is resolved, but make sure to not say a word of this to the old man," said Jotaro before hanging up the phone and sitting back down on his chair, placing his hands over his forehead.

"I better not tell that old man any of this, otherwise he things might get troublesome," mumbled Jotaro as closed the marine biology book, placing it on a nearby table.

...

Staring at the mutilated body sitting on an operating table, a middle-aged man couldn't help but frown as he looked at the three doctors in front of him.

"Have you found anything, Sir Jotaro requested that we quickly bury Sir Polnareff and let him rest in peace after we study his wounds, I need to report to him once again soon," said the middle-aged man, causing one of the doctors to step forward.

"Based on his wounds, it can be seen that Sir Polnareff was killed by a stand user who used brute force after his legs had been broken by the car crash, but here comes the interesting part."

"After analyzing the wounds further we can see that the punches sent out by this stand user seemed to become stronger and stronger as time passed, at the same time, the frequency between the punches also decreased," said the doctor, causing the middle-aged man to frown.

"The two most possible causes of this are either the fact that this person has only just acquired their stand using the Stand Arrow or the fact that their strength increases as the fight continues to go on," said the doctor, causing the middle-aged man to nod.

"Very well, I will report these findings to Sir Jotaro then we will conduct the burial," said the middle-aged man before walking out of the room.

...

Texas, Dallas International Airport,

As Diana stretched her legs on the first-class seat, which had stretched into a small bed, she couldn't help but let out a sigh, taking out a cigarette from her pocket.

Suddenly, just as Diana was about to light the cigarette, a flight attendant suddenly approached her.

"Miss, we enforce a strict no-smoking policy on the plane, may I interest you in a drink instead?" said the flight attendant, watching Diana roll her eyes and throw the cigarette into a nearby trashcan.

"Fine, get me a bottle of your best red wine," said Diana, taking out a pitch-black card from her pocket and carelessly handed it to the flight attendant.

...

Watching the ground move below her as the plane swiftly moved through the sky, Diana couldn't help but pour herself a glass of wine.

As Diana felt the slightly sweet taste of the red wine pouring down her throat, a slightly dissatisfied expression appeared on her face.

'At least it's better than nothing,' thought Diana as she suddenly felt something poke her arm, causing her to move her eyes left.

"Do you need something?" asked Diana as she looked at the fifteen to sixteen-year-old girl who was lying in the seat next to her, causing a slightly embarrassed expression to appear on the latter's face.

"No, I just wanted to talk, so, what's your name, why are you going to China?" asked the girl as she suddenly stretched her body over to Diana, causing the latter to slightly smile.

"I'm Diana, and right now I'm going on a vacation to Tibet," said Diana, causing a slightly surprised expression to appear on the face of the girl.

"My Name's Amy, my family is going on a business trip, so I'm tagging along, but is Tibet a nice place to have a vacation? Maybe I'll take a look there in the future," said Amy, causing Diana to shake her head.

"You shouldn't go there, it's not a very nice place, I'm just going there because of a personal interest, at the same time, I'm very used to cold temperatures," said Diana as she poured herself another glass of wine.

Hearing Diana's words, the surprise on Amy's face couldn't help but increase even more.

"Your family decided to go there because of your personal interest? that's really surprising, I know my dad would never allow something like that," said Amy as she pointed to a man sitting further up front in the first-class cabin.

"Yea, my adoptive dad wouldn't want to have anything to do with that place, that's why I'm going on my own," said Diana, sipping the wine she had just poured for herself.

At first, Amy wanted to ask something regarding how Diana could go somewhere so far away on her own, but the moment she heard the word 'adoptive' some surprise couldn't help but appear on her face.

"You are adopted?" asked Amy, not daring to talk loudly anymore.

"Yea, I don't know anything about my original mother, but my father died in Cairo 11 years ago, that's when my new family adopted me," said Diana, causing some anger to temporarily flash onto her face.

Oblivious to the temporary change in Diana's expression, Amy couldn't help but continue to bombard her with questions.
