Chapter 10.2 : Doom

Hearing the name of the blond-haired man who Akira was walking with, alarm bells ring within Koichi's mind.

Remembering the description of the suspicious person, who had been saved by Josuke and Jotaro, Koichi became extremely concerned.

'He was involved with one of the killers, and now he's around Akira, who's acting so suspiciously, something is wrong with him,' thought Koichi as he looked at the man.

'It's not even raining, why does he even have an umbrella?' thought Koichi as he slightly raised his eyes and looked at the umbrella, which was shielding the man from the sun.

Seeing this scene, a faint smile appeared on Akira's faint, which went unnoticed by Koichi who was focused on Kira.

"Koichi, since it looks as though you have something to discuss with Mr. Kira, then I will be on my way, I have something to do right now," said Akira before suddenly walking away, leaving Koichi and Yoshikage Kira standing there in the middle of the sidewalk.

After a brief silence, Kira looked downwards toward Koichi.

"Did you have something you wanted to ask me?" asked Kira as he looked at the short boy, with no expression clearly visible on his face.

Looking at the intimidating man, Koichi hesitated for a moment before nodding.

"That's true, I wanted to ask you something about Akira," said Koichi as he looked towards Akira, who had already walked some distance away, moving towards the west.

Hearing Koichi's words, Yoshikage Kira, nodded.

"Very well, but I think this is not a very good place to discuss things privately, let's go somewhere else," said Kira as he began walking towards the east, causing some hesitation to appear on Koichi's face.

But after a few moments, Koichi no longer hesitated and began following Kira.

As he walked side by side with the man, thoughts swirled inside of Koichi's mind, as suddenly, Echo appeared in front of Kira, letting out a powerful punch towards the man.

Of course, just before the punch could land, Echo stopped mid-air, not touching the man in the slightest.

'He showed no change in expression, no change in movement, it seems as though he couldn't see Echo in the slightest, is he really a stand user? Can someone's acting really be so good? If so, how would he know that I didn't find him out and really attack him?!' thought Koichi as he silently retracted Echo and continued walking forwards alongside the man.

'For now, let's assume that he isn't a stand user,' thought Koichi as he slightly let his guard down unconsciously.

"Mr. Kira, is there a reason you carry an umbrella around with you?" asked Koichi as he smelled the nice scent of perfume coming from the man.

"I have a certain... Skin Condition, which makes my skin react badly to the sun, it also affects how much skin smells, that's why I use perfume," said Kira as he walked suddenly raised his left hand and pointed towards a certain cafe.

"That place looks deserted, we can talk there," said Kira as he looked at Koichi.

...

After stepping into the cafe, Kira immediately walked over to a corner table that was shielded from the sun, and sat down at it.

It was only then that Kira took his other hand out of his pocket and closed his umbrella.

"Mr. Koichi, I'm going to be frank with you, you are someone with a certain 'Ability', am I right?" asked Kira, causing Koichi to suddenly become tense.

...

Looking at the vibrant town of Morioh around her, a faint smile appeared on Akira's face as she walked down the street, heading west.

'Too many stand users are infesting this place, It's giving me the creeps, hopefully, I can be out of here soon,' thought Diana as her expression faintly changed.

Although now that it was exposed to the Speedwagon Foundation, Diana could not return to her former identity, it would be quite trivial for her to use another one of her identities.

Even if she ran out at some point, using her vampire powers, as well as the 'friends' she had made using them, Diana could quickly create fake documents and make herself a new life.

Unlike what one might expect, as technology improved, the powers of a vampire became more and more useful.

Compared to her father, who was chained down by the body he was possessing, Diana was able to make full use of her powers, although they were slightly weaker, as she was a half-vampire.

...

After around half an hour of leisurely walking, Diana finally arrived at her destination.

Looking at the expensive-looking building, as well as at the two signs, which read, 'Morioh Grand Hotel', a faint smile appeared on Diana's face.

Without even hesitating for a moment, Diana quickly walked towards the hotel.

...

Looking at Koichi, well as at the blond-haired man sitting next to him, a slightly cautious look appeared on Josuke's face.

"Koichi, what's this all about? Why did you call me here?" asked Josuke as he looked at the two.

"Josuke, I found something big, thanks to Mr. Kira here, I managed to find the identity of one of the killers," said Koichi, causing Josuke's expression to suddenly change.

"What are you waiting for? Quickly tell it to me, I gotta go alert Mr. Jotaro!!" said Josuke.

...

As she walked into the Morioh Grand Hotel, a faint smile appeared on Diana's face as she looked at the receptionist before passing him by.

Noticing the figure of a woman who had just passed by, sweat appeared on the face of the middle-aged receptionist.

'Does this lady live here? I haven't seen her before,' thought the receptionist, for some reason holding no thoughts of asking the woman to leave.

As she walked up the stairs of the hotel, thoughts swirled in Diana's mind.

'With Kira delaying him for time, Josuke shouldn't be able to interfere,' thought Diana as she slowly but surely approached the third floor.

Ideally, Diana would have wanted to have Kira kill Jotaro himself, as that would have been possible for his living self.

Sadly though, to control him, Diana had to not only transform him into a zombie, but also implant a flesh bud into him whilst hypnotizing him at the same time, as Kira refused to submit to her.

Because of this, Kira's spirituality, as well as his Stand was greatly weakened.
