"Carter I guess you can help Ms Kingsley with the year's material"the teacher concluded.

"I'm sorry,Mr brown but I don't like wasting my time educating stupid people"

I was shocked.everyone burst into laughter,the laugh was so loud.how dare he call me stupid.

"Mr Davis"Mr brown called,but he just yawned like nothing happened,gotta correct myself, nothing changed he was still that old Carter Davis.

Same old evil Carter.

The class was over,some people was outside including me, nothing really changed about him.

He was still evil, popular and... looked the way he looks.girls were around him now,he was chatting with them.he was just taller with wider shoulders and even more hands.

I coughed was I admiring him,oh....no.

He's the devil Emma,I reminded myself.

I found my way to the school garden,and sat down at one of the benches found there.God how I didn't miss school I yelled in my mind.I'd really forgotten how awful teenagers could be.I checked around whether anyone was coming,there was no one though,I checked my bag and brought out my baby,I started reading it.

Did I tell you how obsessed I'm with astronomy?

well there are reasons I didn't like mentioning it too often,a certain someone has made it his mission to make fun of that hubby of mine.

Called me a nerd for liking it.

well it probably isn't the exactly the coolest hobby?...

I was caught off guard when I heard my name,I threw away the book I was reading,two girls approached me and they said"You are Emma,right? the new student"

"Y-yes Hi!"I stammered.Then the first girl introduced herself."I'm Amy and that's Rachel"she said pointing to the girl beside her.Then Rachel said"Hi!"

"Is that your book?"Amy asked pointing at the poor book laying on the floor.Then she picked it and said"Night watch.."

"That's not mine"I lied"I just found it on the ground and didn't know what to do with it"

"Throw it in the trash can maybe"Amy teased,then they laughed.

"Seriously! who in their right mind would read that in their free time?"Rachel said.

"Maybe someone crazy"Said Amy."Anyways.."she looked at me from head to toe."I think you're pretty cool, maybe we can hang sometime"

"sure..."I said

They waved me bye and went their way.I felt dumb and stupid and I started hitting myself like I was crazy.i was caught off guard by a female's voice."That was cool"it was the girl who fell earlier,I was shocked"W-what?!"

"The way you pretended that that book wasn't yours"

I decided to play dumb"I don't know what you're talking about"

"Sure"she rolled her eyes.

when I fully looked at her direction she was in the water."what the heck are you doing in the water?!"

"I dropped my phone somewhere here"she replied."I tried to take photo of a cute fish I saw,for my blog"

"You post....fish pics on your blog...?"

"Only cute fish pics"

I suddenly approached her,she immediately asked."why did you lie to them?"

"I didn't-"I lied again.

She just looked at me and smirked.Then I started confessing."astronomy isn't exactly cool"

"I think it's interesting"the girl said.

"You also have a blog with pics of fish"

"And you read science textbooks at break time"she concluded."I like astronomy but not boring myself to death"

"see?"I said rolling my eyes."It's boring"

"So?, it's not boring to you,so why lie about it"I failed to reply.

Two girls passing were gossiping,I actually listened.

"Are you going to his party?"

"Duh... it's Carter's party who wouldn't go?"

"Maybe I will catch him alone and make him fall head over heels for me"

"Hey,I could have him"

"No,I didn't"they quarrelled,they got angry and left into thin air.

Then she asked."Are you going"

"huh?"

I wondered,then she said"To Carter's party"I laughed In a silly way."No I don't think so"

"What's so funny?"she asked.

"Nothing... besides, I was not even invited"

"I don't think that matters"she concluded

"Well I'm definitely not going"I suggested.
