I found myself staring blankly at my computer screen which was as dead as how I felt inside.

Marcus Zephanie was here. He was here and yet, he was able to walk out of the door like he was the innocent man as he had claimed to be.

But I know and I'm sure both Avalyn and Shay Zephanie do too, that he is hardly innocent. In fact, he might have done something else aside from merely having Charlotte and Kristof Reynolds killed. 

Before I could stop myself, I slammed a fist on the wooden desk, garnering a few odd stares from the others inside the office. However, I was certain that most of them were well aware of why I was so frustrated right now. Yet, I don't need their sympathy.

What I do need was direct evidence that would allow me to have a warrant issued and finally make Marcus Zephanie pay for the crime or crimes which he had done.
