CHAPTER THREE: Krimeans

South Bròn emerged from being a battleground of Aquaria against other powerful empires in the past to a country that can defeat hundred countries in a day. Though it is still a mystery to Brònians how Aquaria stood up for millenniums without having huge casualties; they are dominating the whole continent or even the whole world. Thousands of their armies has the capacity to overpower a million enemies.

These information about the Empire of Aquaria were all just an assumptions and hearsays until it was somewhat confirmed by the forsaken people of Krimea. The Krimean village was nonexistent hundred years ago, it is said that these people owe their lives to South Bròn.

Krimeans were pure Aquarians. However, as a punishment for violating their country's holy code, they were thrown and abandoned somewhere east where filthy garbage and dead bodies are disposed.

The Aquarian ancestors of Krimeans became protectors of the enemies' spies. Some Aquarian towns were infiltrated by other empires hundred years ago because of these traitors. Luckily for them, the 'Northern Stars' respect their holy code as they value the freedom and rights of their people. Executing fellow Aquarians is considered as an absolute immorality punishable by thousand years of massive drought and famine, so the traitors were kept alive but the captivated enemy spies were tortured and buried alive.

They were found by the imperial army while investigating the death land in accordance with the order of the capital which was to found some significant information connected to Aquaria, the mysterious empire located in the North.

"Good heavens! Spare me from these demonic entities, let our spears and swords  penetrate their reptilian skins!" one of the armies whispered in his gentle voice as he saw hideous creatures lurking.

The army, in their defensive position, shouted, "Reveal yourselves! His majesty would not spare your filth!! He will execute your whole village and not even your deities will touch our swords breathing."

Under the torturing heat of the sun, towering shadows appear in one of the caves. A group of unusual looking people speaking in unfamiliar language. They were held captives by the capital for aside from their unusual appearances, they were also showing some cannibalistic behaviour.

"They already adapted to the environment, this is the place of the dead after all," said the soldier that first saw them.

As an exchange for direct cooperation, those traitors were given resources and a place that will soon be called Krimea. The commoners have no idea about the existence of this place for it is heavily guarded by the imperial army and hidden from the eyes of the public.

Now, these Krimeans are focusing on the armed forces and they are the force of nature who train elite soldiers and spies. They were one of the main reasons behind South Bròn's massive success and power for these people were cooperating with the country for decades in preparation for their revenge against the mysterious Empire of Aquaria.
