Chapter 1 - Prologue

November, 7 1988.

"--Whoooo!!"

"Aawhoooo!!" "Aawhoooo!!"

A pack of howling wolf can be heard inside the deep thick forest in the city of Beacon Hills.

And somewhere in that forest, a big house were being surrounded by a few group of people.

Or should 'I' say, a few pack of werewolves.

"Hey, do you know how long we'll have to wait here?"

"Do you think I know?! I'm more worried about the leader than her!"

"I hope she makes it."

Whispers echoed in this area of the forest as the people continue to wait.

"What did you say!?"

"I said you're unnecessary here, why don't you just leave huh!?"

Then suddenly some random people begin to fight.

The two of them then began to shift into something mythical and beastly.

They're face morphed into an animal like appearance or more precisely, a wolf.

Their face is paired with the color of unnatural yellow eyes, sharp fangs, and animal furs on their cheeks.

Even their normal fingernails and ear are not spared as the former became claws while the latter grew sharper and longer.

All of the people here are like the two of them, they are what normal people calls the werewolves.

The two aggressive werewolves growled at each other, as they prepare themselves to start the fight.

"Stop!!"

However just as they're about to begin, a man with a calm demeanor yelled at them.

The man wears a black glasses paired with a black leather jacket and pants, his name is Quile.

"We should remember what and who's we're here for.

We came here to show respect towards someone special, and you can't even do that simple task.

If I'm wrong then quiet down and prove it!"

Quile spoke in a calm manner at first but ended his speech in a commanding tone.

Even his eyes glowed red behind his black sunglasses, which intimidated the two people in front of him.

This is due to his status, the alpha status.

After hearing Quile's words, they calmed down a little before they recall who the person they're here for.

Talia Hale, the strongest beta in the world and almost as strong as an alpha.

As well as the wife of the current strongest alpha.

Inside the house in a room at the second floor, a young lady can be seen in the process of labor.

Her eyes would glow yellow while her screams would turns into a roar like that of a wolf.

This woman is Talia.

Thankfully the noise is being concealed by a spell that was cast around the room they're in.

Because of it, no noises can go in and out of the room when the door and windows are closed.

After a few more minutes, a crying newborn boy, or in this case a werewolf, finally came out of her.

The baby's eyes were glowing in golden yellow but soon enough, the baby's bright yellow eyes turned into a green one.

An old woman began to clean the baby, after making sure that he is healthy.

However after doing so, the old woman gently lay him down besides Talia before she went back to her previous position.

It is because they knew they're not done yet, as another one is impatiently waiting to come out of Talia as well.

And after a few more minutes, the second baby came out safely.

However something is different with this one.

Instead of a bright yellow, his eyes glowed in a dark red color like that of a blood.

When the old woman, who helped Talia during the process of giving birth, saw this her eyes widen in surprise.

She had never seen anything like this before.

Even with Talia's first two children, as well as the other born werewolf, there had never been a case like this.

Then she began to realize something impossible but is happening right now.

"Nati what's wrong?"

And when Talia saw the old woman, named Nati, acting wierd she asked her, in a weak voice.

"This.. this baby his eyes is different from the others."

Nati answer her first before she turned around to let Talia see the boy.

When Talia saw the red glowing eyes, she too found it shocking.

However that's not all because, as the baby continue to cry, his hairless body suddenly began to grow furs around his face.

This phenomenon shocked both Talia and Nati, because a born werewolf's first shift only happens during their adolescence.

And although some can shift at early age, none did it when they're just a newborn.

But the shock inside Talia's eyes changed into a motherly love a second later, and so after Nati cleaned him, she asked Nati to give the baby to her.

"What's wrong with this? Aren't they adorable?"

Talia asked, while holding her newborn twin.

The newborn's cries had already ended and now they both has green eyes.

However, although the second one's red eyes became the same with the first one, the fur remained on his face.

Nati stared at Talia and her sons for a bit before she release a deep sigh.

"This is the first time a born alpha werewolf came to exist, even in the records the rarest of the alpha is the true alpha who only appears every 100 years.

You know that, right?"

Nati explained while Talia nodded in agreement.

She already knew that information and so Talia spoke once again.

"His father is the strongest alpha while his mother, is the strongest beta, so it isn't surprising that something like this would happen.

And I don't see a problem with that, do you?"

Talia asked as she watches her sons, one who's watching them and one who had already fallen asleep, after sucking a milk from her breast.

"Maybe but that's not what I'm worried about."

Nati said, making Talia look at her and so she continue explaining.

"What do you think the others will do once they found out about this? They might even kill him as soon as they heard of this, you know?

We don't even know if he's like the normal alpha or like the true alpha, where only their own beta is the only werewolves that is able to steal the alpha status.

Even more your husband is not here at the moment and you're currently weak because you just went through labor..."

After Nati's explanation, Talia thought about it for a while and then the realization hit her.

Although it's a good news for her and her family, other werewolf might be tempted of the alpha's spark that the newborn child had.

Even more his powers were currently unknown, as this is the first time this happened.

And so it is just a common sense that, the baby's powers will be different from the one they knew.

Which will surely entice many werewolf, whether he's a baby or not doesn't matter.

In front of those hungry status betas, he is just a pile of meat that they can eat with the bonus of the alpha status.

And so the danger he'll face, if it were to be spread, is higher than her or her husband had ever faced before.

Talia stares at her children once again before she look towards Nati and ask the most important question she'll ever ask in her life.

"Do you have a solution for this?"
