Visit gone wrong

Freddy wrapped his arms around her, "Nora? What is the matter?" He caressed her hair.

"What happened to you? Why are these marks all over you?"

She broke down in tears, "I don't know what my life has turn into," she shook her head.

He led her inside, "why? Is something wrong?"

She nodded, "it's.. my husband," he made her sit down and say beside her.

"What has he done?"

She gulped, "I can't take this anymore," she shook her head, "I still don't know what to do."

"What did he do to you?"

"He hit me with a belt."

His eyes widened, "Wh- what? Why?"

She couldn't reply, she just cried.

"Nora, I saw the news.. what were you planning on doing to yourself?"

"To end it all," she replied drily.

He gasped, "what? Why?"

"I am tired of everything Freddy, Jimmy has made my life a living hell!" She cried.

"Is that the reason he hit you?"

She nodded.

He sighed, "is there nothing you can do about it? Report to the police? Make it known to the media?"

He stood up and went to get a first aid box to tend to her wounds.

"His father will kill me," she palmed her face.

He bit his lips, "hmm, oh good Lord, Nora what have you gotten yourself into?" He began to dress her wounds.

"I don't know, I'm so confused," she began to cry again.

He patted her back, "get a hold of yourself please, just calm down."

"I want to go back to him," she muttered.

"Back to who?"

"The guy I met at my office."

"What do you have with him?"

Her eyes brightened, "he made me feel so special, exactly the way I want to be treated."

He arched his brow, "Nora.. what have you done?" He drawled giving her a suspicious look.

"He started it first! You can't believe what Jimmy did to me. He cheated on me right before my eyes!"

He drew his head backwards, "with who?"

"Some random guy of course," she sniffed.

He frowned, "random girl you mean?"

"I am talking about a guy here, he's gay."

He gasped, "what the f*ck? Gay? Huh? Why did he marry you then?"

"You should be able to guess," she shook her head in self pity, "for his social status of course," she gulped.

His eyes widened, "that's bad," he patted her hand, "you must be going through a lot," he said softly.

"I am going through hell right now," she croaked.

He patted her head, "take it easy Nora, in the name of God, please don't ever try thinking of killing yourself," he said.

She sniffed and rested her head on his shoulder, "I want to go back to him," she gulped.

"Why? You don't know him, do you?"

"I.." she creased her brows, "I did see his face."

"What's his name?"

She paused, trying hard to remember his name.

'Nora, remember this.. My name is..'

She sighed, "I think I was too drowned with pleasure, I don't remember," she shook her head.

"What do you mean by pleasure?"

She hesitated, "we.. had.. we had sex," she gulped down nervously.

His jaws dropped, "oh my!"

She dropped her gaze, "you wouldn't blame me, would you?"

A smile tugged at the corner of his lips, "girl, you are this brave?"

She looked up at him, "what do you mean?"

"I mean, you slept with a stranger! Now, that needs some commendation!" He smirked.

"You.. you are not mad?"

"Why would I be? He cheated on you... What else would you have done?" He rolled his eyes.

"You should have come to me anyways, you know me, don't you?" He grinned mischievously.

Her cheeks went red and she hit his chest, "you're crazy!"

He chuckled, "I'm sorry.. hehe."

There was silence for while, "did you protect yourself?"

She shook her head, "there was no condom nearby," she replied.

"He disengaged from the hug, "huh? What if you get pregnant? You do not know this guy!" The mischief in his face had disappeared.

She closed her eyes, "i.. that's what I've always wanted.." she pouted.

"What will you tell Jimmy? It's better you just get a divorce and go think of something else."

"He doesn't want to divorce me," she sniffed.

"Huh? You should really take this up..you can't stay this way..or better still, let me talk to him," his face reddened.

"No.. no.. please don't," she shook her head.

"Do you enjoy being this way?"

"I don't enjoy it.. but I don't want you to get into trouble, please, don't get involved in this. You don't know Jimmy and his father, they're both monsters."

"This is madness Nora, you're suffering, and you still don't want to say anything?"

She palmed her face, "I don't have a choice," she sniffed.

"We have to do something,this can't go on. Come on, stop protecting him, maybe if you can get a lot of people on your people on your side, none of this would have to be a problem."

"Who do I tell? I can't go to the media, Jimmy has paid them off."

He looked frustrated, "why is he such a devil?"

She shrugged, "you see when I say I don't have a choice? I doubt the police would want to arrest Jimmy, he is such a big shot."

Freddy held his head, he was short of words, "oh goodness."

"Do you think I'll see him again if I went to the office?"

He looked at her, "stop talking about someone you don't know," he frowned.

"I can't stop thinking about him. He was much more kinder than my husband, I mean, he made me feel different," her cheeks reddened.

"We have to think of a way to get you away from that monster husband of yours," he said thoughtfully.

She shrugged, "whatever," she muttered.

He threw an annoyed look at her and she kept quiet.

"There must be something we can do.." he tapped his chin.

The door broke open and startled them both.

"So you were the one who kidnapped her huh?" Jimmy boomed.

Nora was surprised, "Ji- jimmy?"

"You thought I wouldn't find you?" He angrily walked up to them.

His eyes fell on Freddy,"hmm, you think you can play smart? Sleeping with my wife?"

"That's not true!" Nora yelled.

"Shut up!" He snapped.

He took out his pistol,"bye bye, go kiss your creator."

He fired two shots in his chest and one his head.

Nora screamed,"Freddy!"

Freddy fell off the couch and to the ground, shaking.

"Not dead?" He shot his back again and he stopped moving.

Nora screamed again and rushed to Freddy but jimmy yanked her up, "you try playing smart and you'll join him."

"What did he do to you? He didn't do anything!"

He gripped her arm and yanked her out of the house.
