Wrist chained hair disheveled, dirty and messy white robe with mouth tied up by a black demonic pet. She wondered why he didn't use his spell to seal her mouth instead of going with the extra work of turning his demonic pet into a band just to wrap it around her mouth. It was straightforward, he yearned to make her look even more vulnerable.
He walked in front of her with a stance, screaming superiority. Two guards followed closely behind her. She didn't know what she felt, on the verge of breaking down she followed behind him, stumbling on her steps now and then. Her lips quivered by the time they stopped in front of a certain black door.
He slowly turned towards her, grabbed her by her wrists, and pulled her close to himself, his long fingers digging into her hip bone. She put her hands on his chest, pulling herself away from him, for him to only drag her closer to himself even more than before. She shook her head and tried to free herself of his grip, she struggled like a dying fish but he stayed the same with a cold and icy look on his face.
Her heart almost leaped out of her chest when she heard the door opening. With a blurry sight, she felt him dragging her inside with himself. She did not dare raise her gaze but she knew this place wasn't the main hall or his room. This must be the room where he usually meets others.
She kept her eyes closed, and with a push he let go of her, making her stumble and fall. She still kept her eyes closed until she heard a familiar voice, a familiar scent invaded her nostrils, and she felt a sudden warmth around her arm as Evenor grabbed her.
"Blossom." He said, his voice oozing with concern. He regretted letting her go to the Shu Clan with Evandros in the Carva. She kept her eyes tightly shut, afraid to open them, afraid to let her tears fall, afraid to look him in the eyes, afraid to see yet another heartbreaking because of her.
She wished for the ground to tear into two and swallow her into its depth.
Evandros sat down on his master chair with his legs carelessly sprawled open. He put his elbow on the armrest of the chair with his chin resting on it. With a fake sadness plastered on his face, he clicked his tongue.
"I feel like a villain now." He said and shook his head.
As if he wasn't already a villain.
She slowly opened her eyes and looked at Evenor, with eyes on the verge of flowing a river. This same gaze....this same gaze she had back then. His jaw twitched as he eyed her face, his veins almost popping out of his forehead. His eyes followed Evenor's hand as he caressed her face, and cupped her cheeks with a gaze so gentle. He felt like he was seeing himself in him...someone he used to be.
Someone she will crush, just the way she crushed him but this time it will be worse because she adores him back. This time, it's not a lonely bird getting hit by several stones, this time it's two birds and one stone.
Revenge feels so amazing.
His eyes twitched when he continued to caress her face. Who was he caressing so gently? His property? She doesn't deserve to be treated like that.
"Stop with this nonsense, you two are making me feel nauseous." He said and darted his gaze toward her. Their eyes met, she didn't look away, and neither did she blink. She only looked away from him when one or two tears left her eyes, avoiding Evenor's gaze as well, her eyes met someone else in the room, someone she didn't notice in the corner of the room until now.
But what was she doing here?
Megara's eyes widened when she realized some chains were coming out of her wrists. She gulped when she realized that Evenor was already wrapped up in those demonic chains. She gritted her teeth in anger. All she wanted was his safety. Does he have to come and worry her more? She can bear herself getting ruined but she can't bear him getting hurt because of something she did.
"You---are you crazy?" She asked him, sounding angry. Her face held an expression of frustration. Her bosoms rose and fell as she stared at him dead in the eyes. "You said, you will come back, safe and sound." He said, his voice cracking as he struggled to speak. She lowered her gaze, feeling water pooling up at the edge of her rims.
"Enough of this bullshit. Get here." Evandros yelled in frustration and ordered her to come to him. When she did not obey him, his anger flared up as he looked at that chain maiden and soon enough she heard the abrupt sound of chains clanking against each other. Megara flinched when she saw the chain wrapped around Evenor's neck. She didn't notice it around his neck before, his thick red hair was covering those chains from her eyes. Those chains were choking him.
Her face went pale and she quickly stood up, almost running towards Evandros. She stopped in front of him and looked back at Evenor whose face was changing colors due to lack of oxygen. She looked back at Evandros before looking back at Evenor. Her gaze turned desperate as she shook her head at Evandros. Tears blurring her sight...her stern and cold face and stance, completely shattering into pieces before him.
He found himself in the heavens.
"Beg...get on your knees, in front of me, kowtow to me...with the band still around your mouth kiss my shoes, and then keep sitting between my legs, like my slut. Do it and I will spare his life...I will let him go." He said, her eyes widened as she stared at him in shock. She was uncertain but all her reluctance vanished away when she heard a groan coming out of Evenor's mouth. She looked back at Evenor and saw him shaking his head in denial. His face was red and purple. A little more and he...
Not pondering much, Megara kneeled in front of him. She put her trembling hands on the ground...this was the second time she felt humiliated. The first one was also in front of this man who sat so arrogantly on his chair. Looking down at her with a gaze as sharp as a blade, a faint smirk plastered on his devilishly handsome face.
With a deep breath, she attached her forehead against the cold ground, kowtowing to him. Not even doing it for more than a second, she moved forward towards his black leather shoes. She gulped and stared at it, she took a deep breath. Not letting her tears fall.
Evenor's groans intensified but she could care less about herself when he was the one who stood at the stake.
With her quivering lips, she kissed his boot, with the band still tied around her mouth. Her nails scratched the ground beneath her as she quickly raised her head and scooted forward to sit between his legs. She felt humiliated...she felt her gaze getting hazy as she turned her head to look at Evenor who was finally able to breathe again. With harsh coughs, he looked up into Megara's eyes, they were instantly so void.
Evenor shook his head at her, anger plastered on his face as tears pooled up in the rim of his eyes. He whispered her name under his whiff. His angry gaze fixated on her before turning deadly as he looked up at Evandros.
"She was *cough* p-prisoned and tortured for s-so long. Aren't your foolish revenge already over? Why do you keep making us regret being kind to you back then?" Evenor asked and Evandros chuckled, his eyes fixated on the woman sitting in front of him.
"I'm not holding her for revenge." He said and put his hand under her chin, making her look up at him.
"She is my soulmate."
