Fight

He sat there quietly as tears rolled down my eyes after a lot of suppression thinking about the past. He wrapped his arm around my shoulder which was the most magical thing and I was calm in a few minutes, taking a deep breath, I wiped my eyes and he came in front of me holding me by my waist "Past is gone don't cry over it and don't talk about it or even think about it until you can do that without crying."

I nodded and as I was going to push him away he kissed me, making it deep with every moment, the flashes of Ethan kissing me began to cross my mind and as he forced his tongue into my mouth, I pushed him away and ran into the camp and tears flowed more vigorously through my eyes. I sat there quietly and he was too scared to come in.

At last when I was finally able to calm myself down, I went outside to have a look but he was nowhere to be found. I felt like I scared him away so I walked towards the rock where we sat earlier and started enjoying the view. The more I thought about this person the more complicated my feelings grew. I diverted my attention to getting rid of Cameron and the only way out was to learn the death charm. Although I had that power inside me but I knew that it's activation was something really difficult and I had been researching on it all these years when I knew he will return for me.

I saw a beautiful rainbow forming in the clouds and as I stepped forward to have a clear view of it a cold pair of hands surrounded my waist and the lips landed on my neck. The grip was too strong for me to even turn my head by an inch, the cold lips kissed my neck as I struggled to free myself. I was about to use my magic to push that person away but almost at that time he bit me which send a wave of screeching pain through my body and instantly drained all the energy out of it a loud scream came out of my mouth. The more painful the bite grew the more louder my shout and with a lot of difficulty I snapped my fingers pushing him away. I turned to see Cameron's smiling face filled with my blood, as he approached me "You have become quite strong to be able to repel me while I bite." with that he pulled him into his arms using his magic and started stroking my cheek "I like it, it will be more fun."

My eyes were filled with water due to the pain but I had to be strong "This time I won't let you harm anyone."

He laughed "Really, will you be able to stop me." he firmed his grip on my waist making me feel the pain "How?" he whispered coming closer to my ear.

As his head went to my neck for another bite my eyes closed with fear but instead I was freed out of his grip so I opened my eyes to see James standing in front of me and Cameron kicked on the floor. He got back to his foot, ready to hit James but was knocked down again "We have some records to settle already, you better not add to them."

Cameron laughed and pointed his finger towards me "Only that person can kill me but sadly she is too weak and I will make her mine before she does anything to me."

The bite on my neck started growing hotter and painful making me feel dizzy, I was hardly able to stand but tried my best as James hit him hard and as he fell to the ground, James pressed his neck and spoke with clenched teeth "I will make her strong enough to fight you and until I am here don't you dare think of touching her."

James escaped from his grasp "She is mine and I will take her with me." saying this his jumped down the mountain and was quickly out of sight.

I could feel my breath loosing and my body growing hot and uncomfortable. James came up to me and just held me in time when I was about to fall "Just bear it for a moment and it will be gone."

He sucked out the blood from my neck where Cameron had bit me but this made me relive pain. As the pain subsided and his poison was out of my blood, my body grew more hotter and uncomfortable. James held me in his arms asking worried "Are you fine"

I was unable to say anything but my impulse gave a way and I kissed him for quite a long time and I could not make out his reaction. Instead of taking advantage of me at such a moment, he pulled me apart and took me inside the tent and carefully put me down. I was unable to fall asleep so I unconsciously begin to mess up the tent with my magic. He was staring at me shocked of what was happening, I had completely lost myself and looking at him I pulled him closer with a quick snap of my fingers and wrapped my arms around his neck "James help me, I am not feeling good."

He pressed a kiss onto me and then he was about to kiss my neck when he realized what was wrong so he began to suck out the poisonous in my blood that was induced by Cameron. As he did that my grip against his neck grew stronger which could have crushed a normal human. My shouts were too loud and painful but he kept doing his work and I fell unconscious after some time and what happened after that was all a mystery.

I woke up after 2 or 3 hours because I didn't know the exact time when I fainted, I looked around and saw James sitting in the corner of the tent. Everything that I did came to my mind and I felt so embarrassed that I lowered my head while apologizing "I am really sorry for whatever I did, I know I was wrong..." and before I could finish apologizing, he came to me, lifted my chin "If you remember what you did would you still say that you don't feel the same way as I do."

I wished to say "No, I don't have feelings for you." but the words failed my mouth and I sat there quietly.

He came forward to kiss me, my cheeks went hot and I felt breathless so I pushed him "I can't breathe, I need some fresh air." saying this, I ran outside and went to the farthest corner to sit on the ground. He came out slowly  and sat next to me "I am sorry, I should give you your time but it is too difficult and I promise I won't do it again."

I looked at him "Thank you for being understanding."

He stared at the sky with sadness filled in his eyes and sat quietly. The silence was so deafening and his sad look pierced my heart so I tried to break the ice look at sky where he was staring "The sky seems so wonderful from heights, doesn't it."

He nodded still not willing to speak so I continued "I love it when it is filled with stars and I could keep staring at it all night."

His answer was short enough to end the conversation "Me too."

I felt that he was not interested in talking so I got up "You should better sleep for some time and have some rest, we have to leave tomorrow."

He smiled stood on his feet "Don't be so hard on yourself to keep up a conversation, if you feel uncomfortable with the silence, you can choose to leave, I won't mind or feel bad."

Blood flushed my cheeks and I stammered "N-n-no, i-it's n-n-nothing like that."

"Sure, so let me remind you vampires don't sleep." he said sarcastically and I was at loss of words, he didn't want to make me feel awkward so he continued "but you should better catch some sleep because you need it."

I was feeling so awkward that even before he finished his sentence, I hurried in and I was sure, I saw him smiling. I was feeling so tired and drained out of energy that I dozed off as soon as I hit the bed or you could say my sleeping bag.

The next morning when I woke up all my things were already packed and James was sitting in the corner "You up."

"Hmm" saying this I sat down and he continued.

"You should freshen up and we will leave soon."

I nodded and teasing said "I would like to go like a normal human being." but his sarcasm was way more superior than me.

"Sure, if you can be a normal human."

I smiled at him as he said "Alright we will go down normally but I will show you some things which you would never have noticed.

I nodded and within half an hour I was ready to go and before that "Thank you for packing the bags."

"I was free the whole night and didn't have anything to do except stare at you so I thought that I could do something productive."

"Okay, let's go then."

He nodded "Stay closer to me."
