After around fifteen minutes of panicking, Judy finally settled back into her usual confident attitude. However, I still felt uneasy, sensing that the few hours of rest she'd taken weren't enough for her.
"Are you absolutely sure you're ready to continue? We can put off looking for the spirits, you know,"
I asked, hoping to confirm her well-being. But Judy just smiled, planting her hands firmly on her hips, and replied with her usual spirit.
"Thanks to Captain's healing, I'm as fit as a fiddle!"
"Doesn't look that way to me."
I couldn't resist teasing her, poking her gently in the sides. To my surprise, her entire posture crumpled, and she nearly fell to her knees. Clearly, she was still feeling weak but trying to act tough.
"This... this much shouldn't be a problem,"
She insisted, albeit shakily.
"There aren't any more demons around, so we just have to find the spirit we're after and get out of here!"
