76- Dominus's other side

It happened so fast that he could merely heed Anne's sobs. Everything else was blurry to him. He blinked his eyes and scanned his bloody hands and the bunch of dead bodies on the ground. He noticed a heart on his hand, and Anne's Father had a gap in his chest.

What happened?

Did he- he didn't. He wasn't that insane to wipe everybody out when he came here to rescue a girl.

"I- I didn't…" He tried to say to Anne, but her teary eyes struck him in the chest.

They heard loud footsteps. Dominus stole a glance through the window and noticed the battalion of people with swords walking into the Mansion.

They needed to leave, not for his sake but Anne's.

"We need to leave," He hastily said to Anne. He would drag her out if she doesn't want to follow him.

Anne didn't respond.

"P-please,"

Anne slowly raised her gaze from her father to Dominus. "I believe you," She said.

"Ugh?"
