Gretel shifted backward, her eyes prowled everywhere except Michael. At first, she had hoped her girls had arrived already, but now she didn't. Michael hates to leave evidence behind.

She was currently laying on her bed with a blanket over her, her illness had intensified causing her to lose her stamina. Her head would have slammed to the hard floor if Michael hadn't caught her in time.

"Don't stand up till the morning, don't die when I'm not here. That's my job." Gretel said nothing. She just wanted him to leave. "I didn't know you had that many enemies, you were a decent girl the last time I saw you, decades ago."

"They got what they deserved," Gretel said.

"I bet they didn't. You've created a name for yourself, you know; The She-devil. I'll like to see you in action." He dampened his upper lip.

As he said that, a loud blast sounded through the church.
