Chapter 25: This isn't a joke right?

Mirae attacked with full force. The power of tidal seems to be influencing the area.

Hydra affinities can be seen flickering around her.

' This must be the power of tidal!'

She was amazed after experiencing the power of her affinity. She can now contend with him.

But the problem is her opponent. He was like a tireless as a puppet. He was made for fighting. Like he was a warrior!

'I need just one moment.'

She was sure that she can defeat him. But the problem is time. The longer they fought. The power he could produce! And that tricky thing he was showing off. Hiding and stabbing behind her. Thanks to her Affinity she is safe and okay.

What about in the future? Would he?

It means he was that powerful. Too powerful that no one can fight him.

'Just what is he?' Mirae can't think of something. Just seeing him made her knees numb.

The more mysterious he becomes. The weaker her will to fight him.

'Huff, huff... Huf..' She was exhausted and felt the backlash.

'I don't know why!' Her hatred gained a deeper understanding.

One thing she understands:

"You must be strong! Stronger than anybody!"

'I was so reckless! I did not think better. But this hatred will continue to eat Me if I don't do anything! I can't stop this feeling. I swear to heavens that no matter what, even in life and death I will take my revenge. But My heart is in turmoil as if a devil is living in my own existence. If only I have someone I can depend on. Sob... Sob..'

She cried and fall to her knees.

What she didn't expect, a hero is coming to help her.

He is not just a hero but a schemer!

He planned this out!

'"Don't worry my child..." Even consoled the crying child.

As if her wish come true, a man with fatherly love appeared.

"Sob... Sob... Ahhh..." She let all her feelings out!

"Don't worry I am here. By the way, I'm your uncle V'ren. Your father's best friend." He said then continued.

"When I heard there was a devil killing people I sent my soldiers but they were killed. I think this devil is plotting to kill all us here. After not getting a response from my soldiers. I already have a feeling of danger. And so I went here. But what I found... Arghhh! That devil! I swear to heavens that I have to kill him if not I am no human!" He fakes this out.

"I'm sorry your mother... And fath... " He spoke but stopped when Mirae hugged him.

"Uncle thank you...sob..sob.. Without you maybe I was already killed. Huhu.."

Her deep eyes with full of hatred seem to lessen. Now with a person, she could cry on. She felt the parental love and protection.

But unbeknownst to her. This is the only introduction to her sufferings!

What will happen then?

'Plan A seems to be successful.'

"Its okay child. I felt the way you experienced this harsh reality. Only by getting stronger is the path to take."

"Do you trust me?" He looks at her eyes.

"Yes... I trust you uncle." She willingly accepted.

"Now we are in this barrier. No one can touch you or scare you. But the problem is if we don't stop this devil then more people will die. I pity them. Sigh... If only he.." He stopped and didn't continue his words anymore.

"Uncle don't worry. I know his weakness.."

She told him everything she knew. Her experience of how he fights and the power he can contend to.

"I'm in the peak of transcendental but that devil is very tricky. He can hide in the shadows and teleport anywhere. I can only do this cruel plan of mine. And you must be the bait. Are you okay with that?

"It's okay. I fought once and I can do it again."

They both made their way.

After seeing the devil wrecking the houses. Mirae felt her heart boil.

"Uncle we must kill him or else my parents will not be at ease!" She said with a hint of despair and remorse.

"Don't you worry about my child. It's alright it was also my job to protect my family and my land." He replied.

"Now fight him."

She activated the power of tidal then her hair turned to purple.

"The reason to call Power, Water Dragon Bind!" She chanted the phrase.

This isn't the technique she learned in the library but one of the innate power of Tidal. There are still more powerful like Blue Whale, Dragon Rage and so on. The only problem her power is too low. She can only wait.

The little devil was trapped in the hydra bind. He can't move because it was new to him. He can't activate his power after locking the Colossal Eye to him at the limit.

"Now!" V'ren shouted.

He warned her first that this stone power will take shortly. The power is just a one time use. It has a limit. He used it once ago. Yet today he used it twice. But with the help of his peak Transcendental Stage power, he can do so.

Mirae runs straight at him with full power. A dagger at her right hand and a talisman from her left hand. It was coloured red. The power isn't that strong but it can knock a person in his stage.

What she didn't expect the devil let a smile.

'No..!' Her gut is telling her to stop but someone is trusting her.

So with her life at stake, she continued to finish the task. No matter what she can only follow the plan.

"Kyahhh!" She used all the essence she was keeping this time.

The smile of the devil grows wide. But what entangled her the devil did not even move an inch.

She stabbed him.

A success!

The plan worked out.

But suddenly the devil touched the pointy dagger and it made his hand bleed.

"Protect! Kill! Protect! Protect!" The devil muttered while smiling.

"What! What are you saying! You killed all the people here in this village yet you say that word! You don't know what is meant to live! To love and to Protect!" The devil heard this but no to avail. He can't understand anything.

"You must die!" She pushed the dagger deeply.

Blood flowed from his stomach and coughed plenty of blood.

"Huff. Huff.." Mirae breathes out.

"I killed him! Mother. Father...Yes.. finally I took my revenge. Sob... Sob.. ."

Then she fainted due to power exhaustion and overused her body.

"Plan B success!" Someone in the back thoughtlessly muttered.

He stopped the power of the Colossal because it was nearly used.

But what he didn't expect. The kids started to be surrounded by black fog.

"No!" He shouted but it was too late!

"This isn't a joke right?" He asked himself.

They disappeared like nothing.

"Ha... Ha. Hahahha!" He laughed like crazy.

"No! My plan! This... This... Noooooooo!" He's going wild.

He held a deep smile and could look at the sky.

"If this won't work then all I need to do is sacrifice the Arc Empire! Haha haha hahaha!" He was laughing evilly as if this schemer has something on his mind. No the second grand plan to become the next existence!

He is at the peak of transcendental but he can't skip out this stage anymore. As if a law is blocking him from breaking through.

This must be related to the law. Of course, he is still unclear to what path he could take on!
