Chapter 15: Awakening (End)

8 hours passed.

"Ugh... What happened to me?" He felt so dizzy from waking up.

He recalled what happened.

"I think I will make an apology, sigh...."

I think today was the awakening...

'Those girls.' He thought.

He showered, dress up and wait for some time.

"Today is the day of awakening. I think my talent this time will be no worse than my past life. Whoever you are please gives me the talent of a genius." He muttered as he prayed.

"If I did my best then my parents will no longer be killed and then I can do what I want." He said as he walked away from his room.

"My daughter is going to be awakened this time…I hope she would get an awesome affinity."

"My son too."

Everyone talked about their daughters and sons about having the strongest affinity and so on.

From the bench, 2 girls sat there and laughing.

"Hahahaha."

"Did you see him faint? I kick him hard for you Mae." She said.

"Hahaha, my sacrifice wasn't in vain too." The other one giggles.

Of course, these two were Nana and Mirae.

Note: Mirae or "Mae" was actually her nickname.

"Too bad I didn't kick his ass. Well… what is your affinity, don't you think, you'll get the same Affinity as you parents?" Mae said.

"Maybe. Let's find out in the awakening." Nana replied.

"Attention everyone! This day is the day of the Ceremony of Awakening! Everyone who is going to participate please goes to the awakening area. Thank you!"

After the announcement, hundreds of participants move into the area.

It seems like a wide circle, symbols written in Alibata, and glowed in sparkles.

Note: Alibata refers to the old written language of Filipino's. Some of them used by some traditional Filipino's long ago.

As they stood still some children glowed with colours.

The affinity differs in colour.

4 main types of Affinity Colors

White means Aero Affinity

Brown means Terra Affinity

Red means Ferro Affinity

Blue means Hydra Affinity

There are many affinities which symbolize its colour but some are unknown.

And that we call as hidden affinity!

Of course, there are many possibilities for the evolution of affinity and variety!

In the Palace….

Among the Nobles who attended this event were all present.

7 persons can be seen above, sitting in different chairs.

They wore in Purple gown with Tattoos on their right upper corner of his/ her breast.

"That one is going to be mine." The man in his 30's said.

"Of course he's yours. Having rare affinities means the growth is boundless."

"That affinity is Shadow!" Everyone Exclaimed including the 7 Nobles.

Let's do our best at the ceremony.

As everyone started in their positions, colours started glowing like rainbows.

Some are red, blue, brown, white and so on.

"I can do this…" A boy with brown-haired muttered.

He started the chant and the colour glows around him.

"The reason to call Power!" He chanted, then…

"What is this?" He muttered. He felt so scared that it was a colour which he doesn't know.

"Bright black?"

Then someone shouted.

"A legend!"

"Shadow!!!!"

Then someone joined the chat!

"Your son has a good future."

"My daughter seems to be a good pair to him, Mister John."

"Your son....."

*Chatter

His mother and father were praised from head to toe.

"Hehe, Of course, he's our son, right, Neda?

"Yes, John." His wife replied.

Among those younglings, 2 girls have awoken their power at once.

"The reason to call Power!" Both chanted.

One glowed in Bright blue and the other is Bright green.

"A legend!"

"Sire's other legend Affinity. This Affinity was never heard of!"

Those 2 girls, was of course named Mirae and Nana.

Nana awoke her affinity of Bright green and Mirae was Bright blue.

"Sire was is that?" An attendant asked the centre person of the 7 nobles.

"That Bright blue…." He said then continued…

"Long, long ago there was a ruler of the sea. He lived underwater together with his tribe and made his Legend but later on, he vanished like air."

"The Hydron King!" The rest of the nobles guess.

"That's right." He replied.

"But this case Sire's is different. That is not a man but a woman." The attendant asked due to oddity.

"Yes, a woman indeed. It is great I must congratulate him for some time." The noble sitting in the centre said.

"Yes, we must congratulate him." The rest of the noble spoke up.

They're referring to Mirae Father.

"Sire!!!! Another one!!!"

Beside Mirae, Nana awoke the power of Unknown.

Bright Green!

"Bright Green!" They were shocked to the core. This is the third time for Legend!

"We're going to hail above the heavens again! Praised the ARC EMPIRE!"

A soldier said.

"ARC EMPIRE!!" Someone followed.

Then cheers can be heard everywhere.

...

'I know this would happen. To think that this world doesn't change a bit even someone with weak affinity stays the weakest. That bitch seems to be lucky in this life. And… that Nana…'

Little Ner muttered.

"Bright Green!"

"That color…." He was also shocked to the core after seeing that colour.

...….

"Among the Legends other than the Hydron King there is another one…. The Mind Affinity!"

The person in the centre along with the Nobles speaks.

Then he continued…

"A person who can control a person. The Mind Controller. In the Legend, it says they can alter minds and make you as a puppet. She, that girl is very important to us!" He said.

Some of them also had awoken the affinity of Rare Affinities which seems to be good enough.

Yet little Ner on the other side was gloomy.

Trash! Yes, complete trash! He doesn't have Affinity!

'It seems that the heavens truly pitied me.'

He muttered as he looks at the sky.
