Chapter 21

"I don't know of any sword here." Ye Yan said. He thought 'There is no way I will tell you about the Thunder God's Meteorite sword. My soul is bound to it and I am not willing to tell about it to someone like you.'

"Do you know that your face is telling everything that you are thinking." Nie Li said.

"Fine, I will take you there." Ye Yan agreed and led Nie Li towards the sword.

Nie Li thought 'Why is this old man suddenly acting so nice?'

While Ye Yan thought 'That sword is filled with murderous aura after killing many demons. Even among us 5 legend rank, only Shen Mu could use it.

I will see you loose your mind in front of its murderous aura. How dare you talk to me like that.'

He was lead to a place where, when he entered, there were many weird looking monsters.

"Tch, is this supposed to be an illusion? Even a kid can do better than this." Nie Li said and channeled a small amount of soul force, cancelling the illusion.

"You sure are strong willed to stand like that in the presence of this much murderous aura. You might survive even of you move a little further." Ye Yan said.

"So, that's what you were thinking. You think this aura can affect me? I am amazed you are calling this murderous aura. It is in the level of beginners." Nie Li said, "Let me show you what murderous aura means."

Nie Li released his killing intent. Ye Yan stayed in the Heavenly sacred border for a while andnwas used to the murderous aura from the sword.

But what he felt from Nie Li made him tremble. He saw a shadow of a figure and he had a thought 'Is this what it feels like when you are close to death?'

The murderous t from the sword increased and it actually managed to match with the killing intent from Nie Li.

"Hoo, this sword is actually trying to match my killing intent. Now this is interesting." Nie Li said and released his killing intent completely.

It was a clash between the two, who had killed many demoms and humans.

Ye Yan was suffering in between, feeling suffocated and regretting bringing Nie Li there.

Nie Li moved closer to the sword, which increased the murderous aura.

"That sword has a mind of its own. It is trying to stop me, but only increasing the murderous aura when I move closer to it.

It is challenging me saying 'Touch me if you can'. I like this sword." Nie Li said and moved closer to the sword.

The murderous aura kept increasing as Nie Li moved closer, but instead of feeling scared by the aura, he was excited. He blood started pumping faster and his heart beat increased.

"Good good, this is what I have been waiting for. The excitement you get when your life is on the line.

These last 4000 years, all the battles have become boring due to my increased strength and battle experience. Even though you can't fight, you still got me excited." he said when he managed to reach the sword and hold it.

Nie Li gripped the sword and a huge amount of soul force, along with some aura in the shape of demon spirits, entered his soul realm.

"Asura, time for an quick workout. Absorb the aura, it will increase your cultivation and can be useful while training." Nie Li said.

"I know that. You don't have to instruct me." Asura replied.

"Oh! it actually managed to fill my soul realm and also increase the size. This sword sure is great." Nie Li said and pulled out the sword.

There were small tremors and a huge explosive sound that alerted many practitioners in the city.

When he pulled out the sword, there were many lightning sparks around it, which died down after a few moments.

(The sword looks same as the sword shown in manhua.)

Nie Li looked at the sword. It was a double-edged sword with some design near the hilt.

On that design, he noticed some blue thing. He thought that was also for looks, but when he turned it back and looked, he found it different.

The back had the same design, but it had a red thing. When Nie Li touched the red thing, he noticed that it moved a little.

"Is this a button? Why would anyone put a button in a sword? Whoever did this can't be called a blacksmith." Nie Li said.

"Then again, if you see a button, you should press it." Nie Li said and pressed the red one.

Some lines appeared on the blade of the sword and it split. This happened in many places and the blade slowly folded inward, leaving only the hilt.

(It is similar to the pen from the movie "Percy Jackson", but it just doesn't turn into a ballpen.)

Nie Li had stars glowing in his eyes. He wanted to try out what the other button does. He pressed the blue one and the sword sucked Nie Li's soul force a little.

Then from the hilt, a hole appeared above it and from it, soul force projected out.

Nie Li turned into a kid who was given his favourite toy. "A light saber! I am sorry I insulted you. You are the best blacksmith." he shouted while on his knees.

He then checked the sword for any other hidden features and found a button at the bottom of the hilt.

He didn't even wait a second after discovering it. He immediately pressed it and the hilt extended, increasing its length. Then, the blade sucked in more soul force from Nie Li and projected it from the other side.

"A double bladed light saber! This sword is just amazing." Nie Li shouted and swung the sword.

There was water around them, thich split in half. When Nie Li swung the sword, there was a rumble with lightning sparks around the blade.

"This sword is crazy. This world is getting interesting everytime I go to explore something or find something new." Nie Li shouted.
