Ch.1 Rosé's End!

One bright morning, Rosé Vasser was having a lesson in Etiquette and dancing like she had every morning. Then her parents Duchess and Duke Vasser walked in and watched Rosé for a few minutes. When Rosé finally noticed them she stopped and slowly walked to her parents with grace.

"Good morning, Mother and Father what can I do for you?" She asked politely.

"Good morning Rosé, we are here to tell you some very important news." Her mother exclaimed. Rose was very excited on the inside but being the perfect lady that she was raised to be she put on a calm facade. Her mother took something from behind her and showed it to Rosé. It was an envelope with the royal seal on it.

"The King has finally agreed to your engagement with the crown Prince." Her mother said rather loudly. Rosé could tell that she was extremely excited. But herself on the other hand was not too happy about it but put on a perfect smile for her parents.

Rosé's lack of excitement was because the crown Prince wasn't really interested in her. And the feeling was mutual because Rosé didn't have and feelings for him either but she agreed to it because her parents had been wanting for the engagement since she was born. Rose had been raised as the perfect Lady and the perfect wife just for the Crown Prince. Her parents wanted to be connected to the royal family so bad that they raised their first born daughter who was also their second child to be the gateway into the royal family and thus into wealth and power.

Rosé just wanted to be loved by her parents, so she did everything she was told to do and be obedient to her parents because she thought that would make them love her more than her older brother. Rosé's older brother Dorian was an intelligent and strong warrior who was chosen to be the 5th general of the Royal army at the age of 15. Dorian was famous all over the Kingdom of Loraxia . Her parents were extremely proud of him and are training Rosé's little brother Allen to follow in his brothers footsteps. But because Rosé was a girl, they thought that they only way they could use her was by marring her into the royal family.

Three days after news of the engagement broke, it spread like wildfire through the entire Kingdom of Loraxia. Rosé expected Dorian who was know 21 to come and congratulate her on her her engagement or at least send a letter but a week had passed and he still didn't. She knew the weren't particularly close but she was still a bit disappointed.

Jill Vasser, Rosé's cousin was taken in by Rosé's parents after her parents died in an accident. Jill invited Rosé to the courtyard for a tea party to cheer her up. Rosé got along very well with Jill and she was like a sister to her. But what Rose didn't know was that Jill had always been very jealous of her, of what she had and what she could do, so she poisoned Rosé's tea with a slow acting deadly elixir so that the poison couldn't be tracked back to the tea. When Rosé went to sleep that night with a stomach ache she died quietly in her sleep. The next day when her maid came in she found Rosé dead on her bed.
