I'm Not Letting You Go this Time

    When Hjejin woke up her eyes were heavy and head ached from the last night alcohol she consumed. Still she felt very comfortable she sensed her surrounding and found herself in her bed with the embrace of a MAN. Damn it! Her head was on his chest and she could hear his heartbeat clearly.

    Her first instinct was to check if she had her clothes on or not and thank goodness she had so did the man, Lee Rang. Terrified she looked up and saw two black eyes staring at her.

    "Good Morning" Lee Rang chuckled.

    Hjejin pushed him aside and jumped out of the bed.

     "What you doing here?" She shouted. "What have you done to me?"

    "Well that's not very kind to say to someone who escorted you home last night." He smirked. "and if you asking what we did last night then I initiated the kiss and you Miss Hjejin, you with so much passion and love kissed me back. After that you were so drunk that I have to escort you in this nasty place of yours but relax I know I'm a monster but I'll never touch you when you are unconscious."

    All the memories of last night slapped her brain and she remember everything, his lips on hers, his hand on her waist and how she kissed him back. Embarrassed by herself she didn't look at him at all. One thing that relieved her was at least she didn't sleep with him.

    She looked at him and made herself ready for his declaration that he felt nothing for her. Whenever he confessed and opened up to her, his last words were always the same that she meant nothing to him so without flattering herself she waited for him to say that.

    Lee Rang opened his mouth and blurted. "I have something to say."

    She closed her eyes as she didn't want him to know how hurt she would be after he would say those words.

    He came closer to her and his cheeks brushed against hers. He whispered in her ears. "I'm not letting you go this time."

    Hjejin opened her eyes in surprise and he kissed her on the cheek. She jerked back in response. "What to you mean?"

    He didn't answer the question and change the conversation. "Get dressed we are going shopping."

    She was puzzled and before she could ask, he said. "For the celebration of your step sisters birthday. I checked your wardrobe it's so boring. I'll be outside get ready in 15 minutes or I'm doing it myself."

    "You checked my closet what kind of creep are you?"

    "Your creep from now on." He winked and walked out of the house.

    First she thought she would just lock the door and he would go away but then she recalled he was not a human so he could just break her door which she didn't wanted so she gave up and went to her washroom.

    When Hjejin went outside to find Lee Rang, he was freshly dressed in his black dark suits and pants and on the other hand she was dressed in simple black shirt and jeans with a long grey cardigan. She wanted to ask him if he just went home, get dressed and returned here but she thought better against it.

    The whole car ride was boring, Hjejin didn't spoke a word and Lee Rang talked nonstop. She was still digesting the fact that he wanted her but why he wanted her just yesterday he told her the complete opposite.

    Finally they reached there destination, the shopping mall. He took out a golden  card from his pocket which looked like a VIP card and the manager of the mall came running towards them.

    Lee Rang said to the manager ignoring his bow. "I need the best formal attires you have here for woman."

    The manager showed us a private room where we could sit and wait. The manager shouted at a female employee to bring the dresses. The employee came with so many dresses in her hand with most beautiful designs and colour.

    Lee Rang picked many dresses making  the manager very pleased with it but Hjejin on the other hand picked a simple red colored, off shoulder gown and left the room.

    She held the dress in the reception and said politely to the cashier. "I would like to take this, please."

    "Sure, maam. That will be—"

    "We will like this and all the other dresses." Lee Rang interrupted.

    The cashier watched all the dresses wide eyed that was probably the whole mall he was buying. Lee Rang surely had so much money but he had no one he could spent his money on.

    Hjejin scoffed. "I don't want them."

    "Of course you want them, a woman can't have enough dresses. I'm buying these for you so relax."

    "This woman don't and I can pay for myself. Thank you very much." Hjejin hissed at him.

    "Here." She took her credit card and gave to the cashier. "I'm buying them for you either way." Lee Rang chimed.

    "I'm not your barbie doll that you can dress however you like Rang and if you want to buy all of these then go ahead buy them but I'll never wear them."

    The cashier gave her the bag and the bill. With a angry glance Hjejin left the mall.

    Lee Rang soon followed her in the car empty handed and he buckled his seatbelt. Before driving away he broke the silence. "Hey! I'm sorry I thought you'll like that I'm buying you things I didn't thought you'll get angry at me. It's just I never had anyone whom I could take care of, I mean a human."

    Hjejin looked at him in disbelief. "You just don't understand how it feels."

    "Don't be angry with me." Lee Rang silently plead.

    "I'm not angry." Hjejin shouted. "It's just makes me anxious when you love someone and they just don't love you back."

    "You love me?" His words were merely a whisper.

    "From day one but you are just so ignorant about it that I can't—" Before she could say anymore he unbuckled his seatbelt and fly over to hers and kissed her deeply.

    In that moment when his mouth took hers, he heard her sigh and heaven she felt good, she tasted good. She was the most wonderful creature he ever be held in his arms.
