As Ellsie looked around only to see Mara and Clarissa heading towards the cliff. She didn't remember this moment, she didn't remember where the duchess and her daughter came from. The more she tried Ellsie realised she couldn't remember a lot of the details about her death, what had they said to her? the way she remembered the scene was like watching a movie with no audio.
As Mara and Clarissa stood by the cliff innocently looking out at the view, had she not known better she wouldn't have suspected anything unusual.
"When will they be here?" Clarissa snapped impatiently.
"Be patient my dear, you know he's bringing her here and then he'll be all yours." The duchess looked at her daughter with a genuinely kind expression, the kind that was foreign to Ellsie. "Then everything of hers will be yours." The duchess looked passed Clarissa directly into Ellsie's eyes and smiled condescendingly. Could she see her? How was that possible?
"Mother, sister, you're here too?" The sweet naive voice that belonged to her old self echoed in the empty field. The mother-daughter duo turned with their imitation smiles to greet the newlyweds.
"Oh congratulations my dear, you look simply beautiful."
"Oh sister, finally you have married the man of your dreams, I'm so happy for you." The 16-year-old jogged up placing her long slender arms around her older sister, as the heiress returned the hug, she didn't notice the disgusted look on Clarissa and Henry's faces. "Oh Ellsie you look absolutely flawless..." She pulled away, putting her hands on her shoulders, Clarissa's kind and gentle expression turned into a maliciously hateful one. "Perfect for a funeral!"
Suddenly she felt two large hands push against her back, Ellsie turned to see her husband's repulsive mien. Confusion filled the young bride, her body started to tremble as she clumsily fell towards the edge.
"What... what's going on?" Tears fell from her face, as she began to understand just what was happening.
"Freeze!" The duchess' stretched out hand quickly closed into a fist. Standing at the very edge of the cliff, Ellsie found herself paralysed from the neck down. "Oh my dear, you truly are naive, aren't you?"
"You're a mage?" In shock Ellsie looked at the woman who had raised her, taking in the realisation that she never really knew this woman.
Meanwhile Henry had walked up to Clarissa and gently laced his arms around her waist and kissed her lips. With such adoring and affectionate eyes, he never looked at her that way. Both versions of Ellsie couldn't help the tears from running down her face.
While she knew this was coming, but regardless it killed her every time.
"Don't you get it Ellsie, I have everything now. I have Henry, I have father, I have Eric, I even get to be the heiress to the Rosewood family now." Clarissa pulled away from Henry, smiled devilishly walking up to her, Clarissa was no more than 5 centimetres from her face. "I will finally have everything I deserve, everything that is rightfully mine. Now go and join your mother in the deep blue."
"What?" Other than the tears running down her face, Ellsie showed no emotions. Not hurt from the sudden betrayal, nor fear of being dangled off the edge of a cliff. "Then take it! Take it all and while you enjoy the luxuries that are rightfully mine, remember that I will return, I will have my revenge and when I do, I will tear you down and make you sorry for what you've done here." There was no anger that came from her voice, just a dominating tone of certainty.
Ellsie looked at herself in curiosity, what was she doing? Was this really what happened.
"Oh," Clarissa's laugh was more like an evil cackle, causing Ellsie's body to shudder. "Is that so? Well Darling why don't you tell Ellsie exactly what you think of her." The second lady of the Rosewood house looked at her lover with a wicked smile.
"My pleasure." Henry pulled the girl close to him and kissed her passionately before returning his attention to his wife. "You have no idea how much I despise you. Everything that you do just pisses me off. The only thing I'm going to enjoy is tearing you apart before throwing you off this cliff." His loathsome smile filled her body with terror, while the girl in front of him showed no fear, the version of her watching as a third party, was completely trembling in horror.
"No!" Ellsie screamed as she watched her once loving husband ripped apart the skirt of her wedding dress in two. While the girl was still paralysed and could not move her own body, he pushed her onto the ground, his eyes filled with lust and undesirable intentions. He pulled all her clothes off. "Help!"
"Oh you can keep screaming, but no-one can hear you." An evil grin spread across his face as his hands found their way down her body. "Mara cast a spell so not even they can see us now."
No matter how brave she had been before, the tears ran down her face as the man she once loved ferociously violated her.

As she watched her memories, having no recollection of this event, her body trembled uncontrollably. The heiress fell to her knees screaming, crying as she watched helpless as the man, she had once loved with all her heart, completely disgraced her.
"Stop. She loves you, can't you see that!" She knew it was useless, but Ellsie still tried to save her past self. How could someone be this heartless she thought with teary eyes.
"I'm done with her." The duchess and her daughter walked over to see, the once brave and courageous girl, curled up, crying wildly, her dress ripped to shreds and there was blood everywhere.
"Did you have fun with her?" Clarissa's envious mien was obvious.
"She's nowhere near as good as you darling." He smiled and kiss the blonde standing in front of him. She couldn't believe what she was hearing, they'd had sex out of wedlock?
Henry picked up the crying bride by the throat with one hand, as he was about to throw the girl when Mara told him to stop.
"How could you be such a heartless bastard!" Ellsie screamed uselessly, still on the ground crying this was worse than she remembered. "You're evil, you're all evil!" She was starting to lose her mind. She screamed, pulling at her own hair.
"Hey, hey shhh... it's okay," suddenly she felt two warm arms wrap around her, a warm hand found her neck and pulled her close to his chest. "It's okay, they can't hurt you anymore. You're safe." As she closed her eyes and leant her head against his firm chest, Ellsie's sobs dissipated into silent tears again. She took a deep breath looking up to see a handsome face with ocean-blue eyes and a concerned demeanour.
Lucian held the red-haired heiress tightly, looking upon the scene he couldn't believe what he'd just witnessed. He protectively held the girl in his arms not letting her go, while trying to coax her into settling down. As much as he had hated Henry before, his hatred for viscount grew to even more.
Together they watched as Mara changed her memories trying to remove all the memories from this moment. None of those who watched understood why she couldn't completely erase her memories, however not putting much thought into it.
"Ellsie!" As Henry had thrown her off the ledge, they heard a loud, powerful voice cry out in the field. No-one needed to turn around to see who stood there, the immensity of the furious and horrified aura could only belong to one person...
"Father..." The dying heiress' expression softened into a sad and lonely look as she fell into the ocean.
What will the Duke do now that he has discovered the truth? What will the Duchess say?
