Preparations

After Ho-jin left, Seo-yeon went to Ge-un who was in her mother's room. Her maid had stepped out of the ward for them to examine her.

"The surgery would start immediately. We've arranged everything needed and by tonight, the surgery would commence." Ge-un informed her and she nodded gently as she picked her mother's hands.

"Thank you Ge-un." She smiled as she sat next to her mother. Ge-un and the nurses walked out of the ward and Seo-yeon watched her mother with a smile. "Mother, you will soon be free. I hope you come out safely. I don't want to lose you at all."

Ari moved her hands slightly and Seo-yeon patted it before removing the strands of her grayish black hair from her face. The signs of suffering were obvious already due to the wrinkles and all. She still hasn't believed that all her mother's properties were sold to take care of her dead brothers.
