Chapter Two-Desision

The next day Jasmine work up quite late cause she had a hard time sleeping she quickly freshen up and just as she was about to come out Christa walked in.''good morning your Highness, Christa greeted her.''Good morning Christa has the chiefs arrived''Jasmine asked.''I'm afraid not i think they had the discussion last night''Christa told her.Jasmine moved away from her,''Princess,the vampire King and some of his people are gathered at the hall,your father wants you to meet them there.Christa told her just as she was about to open the door.

Jasmine halt in her step she is not ready to meet the vampires now not now of all times. She look in a deep breath.''is the prince with them''she asked Christa.''I'm sorry your Highness I didn't actually see them.''okay'' was all Jasmine said as she walked out.Christa was relieved, she was happy because Jasmine did not resist and stayed at her room.Jasmine went straight to the hall immediately she entered everybody there turned to look at her,''oh princess Jasmine is here'',king Gabrin said smiling at her.''Good morning everyone''Jasmine greeted.She walked ahead and sat close to her father she was curious to see prince Lucas, the strange prince which just a few people know.She wondered how many people know him maybe just his family and some few friends.

''So what do you think about this princess.king Gabrin ask disturbing her thought.''when you say about this do you mean my alliance with the strange prince'',Jasmine asked.''And why do you call him strange'',King Gabrin asked.''Well not much is known about him and he is rumored to be from hell'',Jasmine answered him.She didn't even care if the prince was actually there in the room sitting with them right now.The keep King laugh ''you know if prince Lucas was here he would have been displeased''the king told her smiling.What he isn't here what kind of a man is he, why wouldn't he come to see the girl he was going to marry,the more Jasmine thought about it the more scared she become.

''Jas''her father's voice jolted her back to reality.''Yes father'' Jasmine answered him.''what is your decision on this,are you going to accept the proposal.Her father ask her.''if it were up to me I wouldn't even think twice before rejecting it but since the kingdom depend on it,she sigh,i'll go ahead with it''she answered her father.The king smiled at her ''that's a good decision Jas''he told her. ''Wow, since the princess has accept the proposal let's not delay the wedding any longer, right king Gabrin. One of the vampire present ask the King.''Yes that's right I think the wedding should be in two days time'',king Gabrin announced, Jasmine was shocked,really what exactly is this vampire king thinking in two days time that's way too quick.She glared at the vampire king oh how she hate him.

''I think the wedding is way too soon we should postpone it'',Jasmine mother stated flatly.''what's there to postpone I really think we should get this over with right,King Gabrin ask Jasmine's father. ''yes I think king Gabrin is right it should be done as soon as possible,Jasmine father told them.''OK we'll get going then, one of the vampire informed them, they stood up and there were heading towards the door,just as someone was about to open the door the king halt in his step and look over at Jasmine.''Any word for your future husband princess Jasmine, the king asked her.Jasmine was in a trance,she was contemplating on the whole scenario, everything just seem strange to her she was still lost in her thought until the king spoke to her.

she looked up at him although she was scared she decided to act all brave ''well i'll like to know why he couldn't come today,your Highness tell him on my behalf that ''a good Prince and a better groom must act right to become the best'',she told the king. The king smiled .''Well i'll pass your message on to him''.The king told her.Jasmine smiled as they walked away.

After they left Jasmine looked at her parents tensed face.Her Father looked at her with questioning eyes.''it's okay father I did what was right for our land and everyone'',she smiled at them.

''Jasmine are you really okay, her mother asked her,''I'm fine mom'',Jasmine smiled at her.The Queen could only sigh.

Jasmine immediately went to her room she saw Christa,and took her along.

''your Highness did you meet the prince,how was he like, his he really the devil,Christa was asking too many questions but Jasmine did not mind that at all.

''the prince did not come''came Jasmine quick response. ''what!!,what kind of a Prince is he,Christa asked.

''Christa the more I think about this the more strange it becomes, I mean how can the wedding be fixed in just two days time when the prince and i have not met each other''.

''what the wedding is in two days time''

Christa asked,Jasmine only nodded at her.

''your Highness I think something is definitely wrong''Christa told her.

''seriously why is my life like this,Jasmine asked herself.

King Gabrin just arrived at his kingdom he went straight to his room because of the long journey, his wife Queen Patricia joined him few moment later.

''so how was the journey''Queen Patricia asked him.''it was exhausing'',came his sharp reply.

''you must be really tired,it's okay rest we'll talk tomorrow, the Queen told him.

he smiled at her and kissed her. '' Goodnight dearest''he told her.''Goodnight she replied him.
