Come back home

Sharon went inside leaving the kids out side. Her father was sitting on the couch looking absent. "Father I'm home." Sharon announced her presence to get his attention.

Peter smiled, his smile not reaching his eyes. He didn't seem happy to see her, like he was yesterday, what happened. He seemed disturbed and Sharon couldn't understand what was going through his head. She sat down putting the bags she carrying on the dinning table. The house looked a little unkept.

"Did I fail as parent?" Peter asked catching Sharon off guard.

"Of cause not. And why would you even think that?" Sharon asked him.

" If your mother was still alive you would have graduated from college and you wouldn't have become like this." Sharon was confused what was her father talking about.

"Dad you did a excellent job raising us on your on."

"If I hadn't sent you away you wouldn't have resulted into pleasing men and be a single mum at such a young age. Come back home those men keeping you outside don't have your best interest I'll even accept your daughter."

Sharon turned from blue to red due to shock and anger.
