Chapter 4- Project

SILENCE. I don't know what got unto me that I invited her in to give a ride.

I just intrigued by her since the incident on the elevator. I was amused. It's the first time in my thirty three years of living in this fucking world.

I was never amused by a mere girl. I found it irritating. For me, they are all rotten spoiled brat. But it's the first time I got boner in the sight of a young girl! Heavens! Crazy right? I'm not a high school boy who had his first crush! The hell!

I want to kick my ass right now. Pinag nanasaan ko ang isang batang babae. I know she's not a child anymore. I check her record in the HR. She's 24 years old. But still, very young!

She's a looker. She has expressive light brown eyes, a very beautiful face, na hindi mo makikitaan ng make up. Those lips. Shit! Those lips are full that you wanted to kiss it for the whole day without even taking a break.

She has a body that any man would die for. The curves are in the right places too. Ah! My words are not enough to describe her beauty.

"S-Sir, dyan nalang po ako sa tabi." That cut my thoughts about her. See? Parang kuya lang ako kung maka "po".

"San ba bahay mo?" I asked flatly.

"Sa fort global po diyan sa taguig, pero baka malayo pa po bahay niyo. Nakakahiya naman po." Sabi nito. I am annoyed with her "po" Am I that old?

"Miss Aguinaldo, am I that old?" di ko mapigilang itanong.

"H-Ho?"

"I said am I that old that you keep repeating the word "po" on me?" my voice was a bit irritated now.

And I was lost in sec when she laughed, a very honest and carefree laugh. I think the whole highway lighted up a bit.

Tinaasan ko ito ng kilay.

"Sorry sir. I am not told that you don't want to be addressed like that." She's still controlling her laugh.

Seriously?!

"Is the joke on me right now?" I asked in serious tone. I love the way she laugh, but I don't get it.

"Sorry sir. Natatawa lang po talaga ako.Anyway, as I was saying dito nalang ako. Malapit na naman lang." she said smiling.

Man! The joke was on me indeed.

"As you were saying, we're near to your house. I will drive you home." I said in finality.

"Bakit mo ko hinahatid ngayon? We just meet. You're my boss and I'm just your employee. We're not even close, we're not friends? We barely knew each other." Sunod-sunod nitong tanong. And I thought she'd never asked.

"No reason." I answered.

"Pwede bang walang rason? It's impossible!" frantic nitong sabi.

"Are all things had a reason? Di ba pwedeng gusto lang kitang ihatid, kasi nadaanan kita at walang taxi na dumaraan?" yeah, what a lame excused, right? If my brother's were with me, they'll laughed they're asses off.

"Yes, may rason lahat ng bagay. At walang free ride noh!"

"So you mean you're willing to pay me back?" I looked at her intently. Zeus! She blushed.

"Of course, Para wala akong utang na loob sayo. Since you're rich, no need to give you money right? So, I will give you back what you've given. Pasasakayin din kita sa sasakyan ko. Pero hindi pa ngayon. Mag iipon pa ako para pambili ng bagong sasakyan. Parorot kasi yun. 1990 pa ata binili yun."

Madaldal talaga ito.Kung iba siguro ito, nairita na ako, but I found it amusing again. Para kasing machine gun mag salita. Parang ding radyo, walang preno.

I gave my lazy smile at her and speak. "Give it any time. Hindi kita minamadali."

"Thank you sir ha? Ambait niyo pala." At nginitian niya ako katulad ng ngiti na binigay niya sa guard kanina. I don't like it.

"Don't talk like as if you knew me. Hindi ako mabait." I am really serious right now. This young girl is gullible. Hindi iniisip ang sinasabi.

"Hindi na kasi kailangan pang kilalanin ang tao, para masabi mong mabait itong tao. I believe that every human being has its good nature." Sabi nito na para akong bata.

"At hindi ko po sinasabing kilala kita. Sinabi kong mabait ka, kasi hinahatid mo ako." sabi nito na tumingin na sa bintana.

"Still." I said in dismissive tone.

I don't get this man! He's impossible. Anong masama kung mabait ang tingin ko sa kanya? Kanina ayaw mag patawag ng "po" dahil nakakatanda daw. E nirerespeto ko lang naman siya dahil Big Boss ko siya! At haler? Gwapo niyang yan mapagkakamalan ba siyang DOM? And he's not only has a handsome face.

Those biceps, triceps na parang natural lang. Di ko lang makita yung abs kasi naka upo siya. He's a total hot.

I appreciate the view, but I don't want it. Allergy ako sa ganyan ka gwapo. Pero hindi ko e d-deny na kinakabahan ako sa mga titig niya. Those eyes are making me shivered! And I'm wondering about myself why I feel it.

Nakatanaw ako sa bintana ngayon. Malapit na din naman ako sa building ng condo unit ko. Di ko pa rin ma gets kung bakit hinatid niya ako.Di nalang ako nag tanong. Baka naawa lang sakin kanina.

He parked at the front of the building. I fasten my seat belt and open the car. Hindi naman ito lumabas. Kaya umikot ako papunta sa bintana ng driver seat para pasalamatan ito.

"Thank you sa paghatid Sir. I will pay you back in no time." I smiled at him, yung pang toothpaste ko na ngiti. Tinaasan niya lang ako ng kilay.

"Good night Miss Aguilnaldo." He said, still serious. Anebe?! Baka magkatotoo ang pagiging matanda niya! Laging seryoso.

Inatras na nito ang sasakyan. "Goodnight Mr. Hamilton! Drive safely!" sigaw ko dito. Habang inaatras pa din ang sasakyan. At naka bukas pa rin ang bintana ng kanyang sasakyan.

Hindi ba ako namamalik mata? Nakita ko talaga siyang ngumiti? Gosh! Laglag panga ako sa ngiting yun ah.

Is "Mr. Hamilton" word was the secret of that rare smile? Hanggang sa nawala na sa paningin ko ang sasakyan nito ay di pa rin mawala sa isip ko ang ngiting yun. Gosh! Yayaman siya dahil dun! Promise!

Nagising ako sa alarm clock. It's seven in the morning. Dumiretso na ako sa banyo para maligo. After an hour and a half of making myself ready for work. Lumabas na ako ng unit at bumaba na ng building para puntahan ang parorot kong sasakyan. 9:30 AM pa ang pasok ko pero nag lalaan ako ng isang oras para sa byahe. Di naman malayo ang taguig papuntang Makati pero di mo maasahan ang traffic, Monday pa naman ngayon.

Binati kaagad ako ni Mel pagkapasok ko ng opsina. "Good morning Miss!"

"Morning Mel, can you follow me inside for a while? I want to check my schedule for this week, please?" sabi ko habang nag lalakad papasok.

"Yes Miss. Ahm, you need a tea? With or without milk?" she asked

"Yes please, and without milk this time." I said and smile. It's been a week since nakapasok ako sa trabaho. Kuha na agad ni Mel ang gusto ko sa inumin. And my first week in Hamilton DC was bliss! I really enjoy it. Mababait at pala kaibigan ang mga nasa department ko, kahit na mas matagal pa sila kesa sakin sa kompanyang ito.

"Miss, here's you tea." Lapag nito sa tasa sa ibabaw ng mesa ko, kasabay abot ng folder. I guess it's my schedule for the week.

"Miss Abigail, that's your schedule for the whole week. And miss, 10AM sharp, there's a meeting for all the head of the department with Mr. Hamilton himself. I think it's the new project in Tagaytay."

"Thank you Mel, I'll prepare in a minute." I said to her.

I heard about the project in Tagaytay, it's a new built Hotel and Resorts by the Hamilton DC, ngayon na siguro e d-discussed ang mga detalye sa naturang proyekto. And I'm very excited for this one!

Nandito na kaming lahat, hinihintay nalang ang CEO ng kompanya. Inilibot ko ang aking paningin, kapansin-pansin na ako lang ang bata na nandito, kadalasan nasa mid 30's or 40's sila. They all smiled at me. Ngumiti na rin ako nakakahiya naman. Pero confident naman ako sa talent ko and for being the head of our department.

The door open at last, and Mr. Azul Hamilton entered the room with his all mighty. Napatayo kaming lahat at binati ito. He just raised his hand to let us sit down. Umupo na ito at nag simula ng mag salita.

I don't know why I feel sad and disappointed. Is this for not recognizing me after niya ako hinatid sa condo ko? For Pete's sake! Why I am being ridiculous? Baka nga siguro nalimutan na niya yun! Goodness me!

"Miss Aguinaldo, are you listening?" he frowned at me. Gosh! Bakit kasi lumilipad utak ko.

"I'm sorry sir" napayuko ako bigla

"As I was saying, you need to go in Tagaytay and stay there for a week for the details you need in this project, understood?" he was all command.

"Yes sir, and Sir about our other client..." hindi na niya ako pinatapos magsalita

"About the other client give it to your people who knew it. This is one of the big projects the company has for now. Hindi ito basta bastang hotel and resorts lang, do you understand?" seryoso itong nag sasalita. Ano pa ba magagawa ko? He's the Big Boss. Hello?!

"It's Crystal clear." I answered

Nag patuloy ito sa pagsasalita dinetalye nito ang lahat ng mga gagawin namin. Hindi nagtagal ay natapos na din kami. Nakaalis na halos ng mga kasama ko ng magsalita ito.

"Miss Aguinaldo, can I have a word with you?" he asked

"Sure sir. Ano po yun?" kinabahan naman ako, bakit kinakabahan ako palagi sa kanya?!

"To my office, follow me." Sabay alis nito at tumungo sa may pintuan.

Pero hindi yung pintuan na pinasukan ko kanina. I think it's the door that connected to his office.

I followed him in the door with the big question mark in my head.
