The Exploration

Diana jerked back behind the door and shut it. The last thing she wanted was the burden of more people. What if they were hostile? What if they were monsters? These were the questions that plagued her mind while she was walking back down the corridor. She paused and looked around. Still darkness everywhere with the exception of the room she woke up in. She sighed. "When am I going to get a break from this?"

"JUST KEEP PUSHING FORWARD"

"THERE MIGHT BE SOME PEOPLE YOU CAN HAVE AS ALLIES SOMEWHERE"

"Yeah, but I don't know if I want allies."

"JUST WHATEVER YOU DO, BE CALM"

"IRRATIONALITY LEADS TO DEATH"

"Thanks for the subtle warning."

The screen disappeared and she decided to investigate the darkened hallway. She flickered on the flashlight and scanned around her. Just an empty hallway with the exception of some monster corpses behind her. She went forward and counted several doors on each side of her. She opened the one closest to her, and found nothing useful at first glance. She walked around, looking closely at each of the shelves, but still found nothing. She left the room and looked in the room opposite of her. Just the same layout. She walked out and down the hall some more when suddenly, she was in front of the open door of the room she just looked in. She walked down the hallway again and reappeared in front of the same door. "What is going on? Is this some kind of joke?"

"MY SYSTEMS SAY SOME KIND OF TIME ANOMALY IS IN PROCESS RIGHT NOW"

"What does that even mean?!"

"SOMEONE IS REVERSING TIME"

With some confusion, she starts sprinting down the hallway, but keeps reappearing in front of the same door. With anger, she kicks the wall. "What am I supposed to do?!"

"SINCE YOU KEEP APPEARING HERE, TRY GOING IN THE ROOM AGAIN"

"Fine! If it will end this madness!"

She steps into the room again, and doesn't skip back to in front of the door. She looks around the room with a closer eye. Shelves line the walls as usual, but now office desks are in the room. She looks around and just finds papers on the shelves. She keeps looking in the room, when she spots something in the corner of her eye. Under one of the desks, an old man is positioned. She looks over directly at him, and he grins at her.
