Chapter 17: Breaking Spawn.

Spawning is the main function in this world that keeps Monsters on Earth. Invisible Spawners or Spawn Sites can be found almost everywhere on Earth.

But there is away to combat this threat. It works almost the same as grazing land and over harvesting with replanting. That method is called Spawn Breaking.

Like grazing, Spawn Breaking is when a Hunter repeatedly kills the Monsters that spawn from the  Spawn Site and eventually break it.

This is one of many tasks that students from Omega Schools have to do for Quest.

Kris stepped out of the store with new clothing. A black inner shirt, a black jacket - which he changed to be more thick and a grey pants.

He was heading to on of the Spawn Sites in his area, and clarify that he was going there he got a notification.

[Notification]

"Huh?" Kris enquired. "A Quest?"

Description: Head towards the four Spawn Sites in the area of Trelawn and break them.

Clear Condition: Destroy 4 Spawn Sites. 0/4.

Duration: 90 Hours.

Rewards: Unlock Sub Class.]

Rottens began to surround Kris once again. He was too busy reading through his Quest thoroughly to even pay them any mind.

"If I do this Quest, I can unlock a Sub Class," said Kris. "That's the only reward too."

Shrugging it off, he said, "It's a good deal though, since I was going to do this any way."

"Huh?"

Looking around, Kris saw the horde of Rottens that had encompassed him.

"Guess I'll also finally get rid of this guys too," said Kris while raising his hand.

He than snapped it and said, "Cryo Field."

Suddenly, snow began to hail down nonstop. In a few minutes snow engulfed the road.

"Maybe I'll get a Cryomancer as a Sub Class," said Kris.

Kris waved his hand at the Human-Grade Rottens. Instantly sharp pillars of ice came from the ground and impaled the Rottens surrounding Kris.

Kris began to venture to the west.

There were four Spawn Sites in Kris area, which the parishes name was called Trelawn. The four were not that far away.

First the west, that had Rottens. Second the east, that spawned Gigants. Third the south, that held Hound Wolfs that changed Elemental Affinity if the climate and weather changes. And last, but my least, the north, that held the Toads.

If to be put as a diagram of the Grade in ascending order, it would go like this.

Toad: Insect -> Rotten: Human -> Hound Wolf: Monster -> Gigant: Mutant.

But that entire diagram will change of it turns night time.

Rotten: Human -> Hound Wolf: Monster -> Gigant: Mutant -> Lunar Frogs: Demon & Calamity.

Kris had now arrived at gas station. Inside came out a horde of Rottens that had freshly spawned.

Kris still had the ring that he had gained from Dark Hell. From the battle with the Demon King, his necklace and other armor was destroyed but he savour his ring.

The Rottens turned their attention towards Kris. They began to march towards him slowly.

Description: A ring that was made by a Dark Demon that had no intention to work. Eventually he crafted a ring that gave him conviction despite not having any. As a result, it killed him.

Overpowering all the Rottens, Kris charged into battle. Efriet was blazing with orange flames while Eden created snow flakes.

Kris was heading towards the east. He still held his weapons in his hands as he strolled down the street. He was heading towards the Gigants.

While walking, he found something strange.

Outside of a building their were ten Rottens that surrounded and blocked the door. Inside was human female who was trying to open the door. As well, their were Rottens inside the building.

Kris continued to walk without stop, but he looked at the lady. He saw her mouth the words she was trying to exclaimed: 'Help me.'

Inside Kris's mind, he pondered, "(Should I help her?)"

That was the first thing Kris thought.

"(What could she offer me?)"

"(Hmm, she couldn't possible help me in what I need when she get even fight off those Rottens.)"

And just like that Kris brushed her off his mind.

"(Whatever. Let her figure out to solve her own problems.)"

The lady, seeing Kris walk away with a care, began to shade tears of anger and despair. In a matter of seconds, she was surrounded by zombies and eaten alive.

Making his way to the east, he found the Spawn Site of the Gigants near a collapse sky scrapper.

Gigants were massive creatures that were even taller than a sky scrapper.

He now traveled south. There in the snowy plains of a wasteland.

He found a pack of Hound Wolfs walking around the area. They immediately noticed him and began to charge.

The Hound Wolfs were affected by the environment. Their fur was now white, instead black. Their eyes cyan, instead of yellow. They had shards of ice sticking out of their backs to their tails.

Hound Wolfs had an ability to change Elemental Affinities if the the weather or climate change. They had long fangs that could sink in human flesh and come out the other side. Those teeth were also used to make equipment.

"Hmm," pondered Kris. "Let me use that new weapon.

The sword had a cyan blue handle with a golden jewel in the middle of it. The blade was sharp, but slim.

Kris placed the katana in his saya.

[4 Hours Later]

"Crap!" Kris exclaimed. "It's getting dark."

It was pass noon. Also, it was February 24, 2035. That was the time were the full moon will be appearing.

"Actually," Kris said while walking towards the park. "Why am I scared?"

Kris went to his System and went to his Inventory and tapped Items.

"If I don't do this, who knows when I'll get a Sub Class? Maybe I'll get something cool, or maybe a blacksmith that can use these Hound Wolf Fangs to make weapons," said Kris plainly.

"Let's kill some Calamity-Grade Toads."
