Did you mark me?!

I woke up with body aches and palpable fatigue. The dawn filtering through the curtains made me blink. I noticed that I was still in the hotel, lying on the bed with the sheets rumpled from the events of the previous night. My body reminded me of every moment of passion, and despite the pain, a smile appeared on my lips.

I took a deep breath.

Turning my head, I saw Sheng Xing on the balcony, talking on the phone. His silhouette stood out against the morning light, and even from a distance I could feel the warmth of his presence. I struggled out of bed, each movement adding to my aches, and limped toward the bathroom. Fortunately, I noticed that he had washed me and dressed me in pajamas after our passionate embrace.

Arriving near the sink, I leaned over and turned on the tap to cool my face.

-Where is my toothbrush?, I muttered, sighing.

I take a new toothbrush and throw the packaging in the trash and start brushing my teeth. Once finished I put my toothbrush away and clean my face.

-My face must be horrible, I sighed

Looking up at the mirror, I was struck by a huge bite mark on the back of my neck. Memories of the night before came flooding back, and I unbuttoned a few buttons of my pajamas to inspect further. In addition to the bite, I saw several marks on my skin, traces of Sheng Xing's unleashed passion.

Don't tell me he marked me, I thought shocked

Lost in my thoughts, I didn't immediately notice that Sheng Xing had entered the bathroom. He leaned over to place his phone on the counter and looked at me with a smile on his face.

-How do you feel?, he asked me, his eyes shining with infinite tenderness.

I turned my head towards him mechanically.

-A little sore, but..., I replied. "Did you mark me?," I added, gently touching the bite mark on my neck.

-I thought we couldn't mark alphas so I introduced my pheromones into your neck

He came closer and caressed my cheek with a gentleness that contrasted with the passion of last night. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wear you out so much," he whispered, his eyes showing genuine concern.

I shook my head embarrassed, my fingers still resting on the bite. "No…it was good"

What the fuck am I talking about, I thought in despair

Our eyes met, and I saw love and devotion in his eyes.

-I'm glad you don't like it anymore, he smiled at me

Sheng Xing leaned down and kissed me gently on the bite, sending shivers down my spine.

I gently pushed Sheng Xing away, feeling the need for a moment of solitude.

"I'm going to take a bath," I said with a light smile.

-Do you want me to accompany you?, he offered me in a voice full of desire

-No, thank you, it'll be fine, I replied quickly, shaking my head.

He nodded disappointedly but respected my request.

-Okay, but call me if you need my help, he replied, a glimmer of worry in his golden eyes.

I nodded, reassured by his thoughtfulness.

-Thank you, I will.

 Then, I closed the door behind him, enjoying the silence that settled in the bathroom. I walked over to the tub and ran a hot bath, adding a few drops of essential oil to relax further.

Once the tub was full, I slowly undressed, feeling my aching muscles protest with every movement. I slipped into the warm water, sighing in relief as the warmth enveloped my body. The soothing effect of the water made me instantly release the accumulated tensions.

-But what are all his hickeys?, I breathed in surprise

From my ankles to the top of my neck, my body was filled with hickeys.

-Let's leave that aside, I whispered to myself

I closed my eyes, letting my mind wander. The night before played over and over in my head, every detail etched in my memory. The intensity of our emotions, the all-consuming passion, and the tenderness that followed... it all mixed together in a whirlwind of sensations.

The hot water gently rocked me, and I felt fatigue overcome me. My eyelids became heavy, and I couldn't resist the urge to sleep. Before I knew it, I fell into a deep sleep enveloped in the warmth and tranquility of my bath.

Time seemed to stand still, and I didn't know how much time had passed when I was suddenly awakened by a light noise. Opening my eyes, I saw Sheng Xing at the bathroom door, his expression worried.

-Are you doing well ? I called you several times but you didn't answer 

I stood up slowly, still groggy from my sleep. "Yes, I'm fine. I just dozed off," I replied, realizing that I must have fallen asleep longer than expected.

He came over, towel in hand, and helped me out of the bathtub. "Come on, I'll help you dry off." His gestures were gentle and thoughtful, and I let myself go, appreciating his concern.

-Thank you, Sheng Xing, I whispered, feeling a wave of gratitude wash over me. "Sorry for worrying you."

He shook his head, a reassuring smile on his lips. "It's nothing. I'm just glad you're okay." He wrapped the towel around me and kissed me gently on the forehead. "Rest a little more, okay? I'll take care of the rest."

I fell back asleep while he took care of me.
