The moment was weird in the area.
Gramps was happy, not only did he keep his promise but he used what he was practicing for the past days. He smiled. Sunny was happy as she heard the whole thing, when he did the promise, and Gramps knew she heard too.
Sunny showed her happiness with a kind smile, as the wind blew and silence emerged as people were surprised. Her hair moved graciously, so did Pyres. Eader was the first to make a noise, "Um, what do I do with him now," giving the stupidest face which was swollen with rashes.
Samuel laughed, the girls laughed, then the crowd roared with laughter as Eader made a mess of the compost heap. Eader was confused but then felt the itchiness of the rashes. Eader gave a calm scream.
Samuel moved forward, while people laughed, and carried him one arm over his shoulder. They started walking away, as most people cheered. Then surprisingly Mythra walked forward, and stopped where they were battling, not even batting an eye to the fallen fruit.
This made people stare at her. "Just so you know that guy is the one I transferred so if you mess with him, you end up like this guy, who came fourth in the championships," she announced standing in the centre of attention.
She smiled," because he wanted to make his win mean more than it should be, with a good audience," waved her arms around, and the reply answered the question.
Eader looked at her in confusion as she made it a competition but then pointed at Jennifer.
"She was the one that found out!" She also got stares of confusion then somebody clapped, then others started clapping then it became a round of applause.
"Nice work girl."
"Never would have guseed it was that guy."
"Complete surpise! Nice deteicetve work."
Most the hates on me.
Eader hated this as he was standing out some more.
Mythra then walked back to Evalynn, and says" let's go," both Evalynn and Jennifer walked after (she walked faster, grabbing her bag) but then a black police car appeared.
***
The detective called Charlotte, hoping she finished the whole questioning sequence. She answered, giving a thankful sigh. The detective had a hard day even though he had a spare lesson.
"I know what you are gonna ask, so I will tell you all the info, and get comfy as it's a long one, also don't disturb me."
The last clause was in a feisty tone as she knew he would do it.
The detective was in his office, he was sitting on a roll able black chair, next to him was a brown table, covered with neat piles of paper and had a large laptop, his room had a grey fluffy carpet, same as the school counsellor's room, and had shelves of documents, some about school some not.
He also had two seats, worse than his on the other side of the desk, overall it was not a big room but has reinforced concrete as the walls, with a nice non-inky black colour.
He rolled his black suit and took off his inky black tie, revealing his non-black shirt.
"Go on," he said, wishing he had a glass of water.
The two people were knocked out by someone, one was knocked out accidentally by the disabled speedy guy, but the guy on top of the wall with all the stolen goods was surprised so he does not know who it was.
She took a breath, the detective nodded, taking in the knowledge.
They said their boss was with them, but we found no traces of anybody else being there. The other people consciously said that they were doing work and would get paid a high amount if they did the work and nobody. However, one of them almost told somebody and died, who was cut up.
"Was he-"
"SHUT UP AND LISTEN! It was not the corpse we found, this one was in a different room. This guy was a man who worked for them and messed up a job, which was to stalk someone. Who we might think we know as the someone might have entered was the person that was stalked by him, we might get something from the kid."
"Yeah, I agree. Wait, can't we go now," he said, realising it has been more than a week.
"Sure, I will pick you up, still at the school?"
"Yeah, I am, be quick, I will be at the front gate."
"OK."
Ending the call just like that.
He then arrived at the gate and saw her in the car, which he liked the colour of.
She lowered the window and ordered, "get in."
He did as said.
Then she searched and put the name into the laptop, "couldn't you have done it earlier," the detective agitatedly said.
"Well, I did have to pick someone up," giving a long glance at him.
He sighed, then they drove off.
She parked at a familiar place for the detective.
I have been here, right?
He did not care, "I will first check if he's at home, his Grandpa might have let him bunk school because of it," the detective nodded, as it was a logical request.
She came back, "nobody home, either out, or at school," giving him a decision.
"Let's check the school first."
They arrived slowly at Sawarts, "you did not have to bring me back to the school."
"No, it says this is the school," she said, starting to get annoyed.
"You said it was a kid," pronouncing specifically what she said.
She shrugged her shoulders.
"Can I see the person?"
As asked if she showed the picture and name, the detective laughed.
"Ok, now that explains the familiarity, drive down to the car park, he might be still in school," but stupidly she turned around and went the wrong way, making them get stuck in traffic.
After a long while, with a grim face, they arrived at the other gate, close to the car park, that's when he saw Mythra next to a body.
"Stop the car," she pulled on the brakes, almost making him bang his head, he looked and stepped outside of the car.
They all stared at him, the new first years were scared, the known first years were nervous, and the second years were startled by him, but the calmest, there was a third-year who stuck out from the group, who just looked at him.
"Mythra, did you do this?"
But before she could answer, another person answered, "no, it wasn't her."
The detective realised it was Adam on the floor.
"So who was it?" he asked the same person.
"um, I don't know his-"
"It was Eader."
Pyra stuck out like a sore thumb when she said that. Her tone was with no surpise at all, which people loved that about her.
Straight after, Mythra answered, " yes, it was Eader," she said while seeing Pyra walk off, getting some more stares by her cool walk off.
This did not surprise him at all, more felt ironic but somebody who doubted Mythra's words and thought the fight was a fake.
"Why are you not surprised?"
He responded laughing, at the same time Charlotte walked out of the car.
"Because he took down a kidnapping hideout by himself," he said, sighing about it.
They just stared at him, confused if it's a joke.
"Are you serious?"
"Sadly yes, he is serious, the kid took it down," they all stared, so she introduced herself.
"My name is Charlotte, head of science in the police force," she said everything with pride, and got so shocked by the whole thing, they could not think.
"Where is he?"
She asked Mythra, "in the infirmary," said, then started walking, Evalynn, who was behind her, so did Jennifer, who was at the side, where her bag was. Then the detective said, "Can someone help me carry these people to the infirmary?"
Four moved forward to grab them, it would be hard work but worth it as nobody is allowed to go in without somebody's permission but hers, she was kind too, in a sinister way.
When both arrived they met her sitting on her desk, nail filing her nails, then she noticed, and immediately caught on the situation, "oh, are you both breathing alright," Eader nodded and Samuel replied with a "Yeah."
She walked over trying to help, but then something flabbergasted her.
"Excuse me, can you please leave the room, it's not I have a problem with you but can you just leave, only for a minute," she gave a nod and walked out.
