Harvest

Having spent the whole night talking with Ian, Jasper got up early, without having slept a single blink of an eye after the leakage of evil miasma.

He did not actually require rest, but his soul had somewhat weakened after the original Ian's soul detonation.

Briskly walking into the only bathroom of the house, he locked the door shut behind him, slowly peeling the white tunic off his body.

The curves of his flawless body were highlighted in the mirror's reflection, his skin glistening like jade, translucently white.

Gazing upon the figure staring back with obsidian eyes, he placed a hand on top of the small vanity below it, leaning slightly forward.

He lifted his other hand and slowly caressed his chin as it tilted gradually to one side.

Running the tip of his pointer finger gently over his soft plump lips, a smile slowly formed on his alluringly androgynous face.

[It seems the young girl has taken quite a liking to this appearance.]

He laughed bitterly to himself as he stripped the rest of his clothes off and hopping into the shower.

Chen Mei Ling had taught him the usages of the different utilities and appliances in the house last night after his surprising display of using the stove to cook.

Steam slowly seeped out as he opened the bathroom door after a relaxing hot shower.

He glanced over in the direction of Chen Mei Ling's room, finding it still tightly shut, only the sounds of steady breathing coming from within.

Making his way towards the kitchen, he gracefully worked his hands around the space as though he had done this over a hundred times, despite his amateur ways the previous day.

Chen Mei Ling woke up once again from the scent of delicious food, as though it was an alarm for her body clock.

Drowsily rubbing her eyes and stretching out her arms into the air, she let out a long yawn from her widely stretched mouth.

She sluggishly made her way out of bed and towards the aroma, eyes still half closed.

"Morning~"

Jasper smiled bafflingly at her silly appearance.

Her hair was like a bird's nest after a big storm, her shirt slightly slipping at her shoulders, obviously way too big for her size, and her arms carried an old chubby teddy bear that had a big red bow, with loosely hanging threads around its ends, attached around its neck.

"Hurry and go wash up before the food gets cold."

Chen Mei Ling's head dropped down heavily in a nod, listlessly making her way towards the bathroom.

The door gave out a loud creak as she slowly closed it.

She finally came out after 20 minutes, energetically running to sit down at the table, totally different from how she was before going in.

Jasper watched her in amusement, finding this small, innocent creature very cute and interesting.

She looked upon the meal set before her on the wooden table, eyes beaming with delight as the anticipation she felt increased.

Her mouth drooled at the splendorous display and the fragrant aroma that lingered in the air.

She lifted a large piece of braised beef with her chopsticks and placed it onto her bowl filled with soft, white pearls of rice.

A gentle poke against the sublime flesh caused it to slightly jiggle, as a glistening liquid slowly escaped from the braised beef, soaking the white pearls beneath.

Her throat moved downwards as she loudly gulped with impatience.

Her hands lightly trembled as she brought the meat closer towards her mouth, the smell so intoxicating that she subconsciously moaned.

She moistened her rosy red lips with her salivating tongue, parting them slightly as they greeted the special guest into her mouth.

A sense of euphoria exploded her taste buds with indescribable flavors as the juices burst forth from the tender meat.

Her face displayed a bright and satisfied smile as she continued eating in delight, her pink cheeks puffed from the aroma that escaped every so often.

Today she had to start harvesting the crops to be sold at the farmer's market at the end of the week.

It was usually a long and tedious labor spanning quite a few hours each day leading up to the weekend, but with Jasper readily at her services, she might be able to finish way ahead of time, giving her a hard earned break.
