31. Fight!!

Wu Reng has been the City Lord for years now. He couldn't be called an evil man but he wasn't good either.

Every wrong deed done by his son was covered up by him, so in a way he is also responsible for the lives of woman and men died by his son's hand.

Boom!!

Wood splinters flew everywhere as Wu Reng crashed inside. He was looking at Zoro filled with murderous intent.

Without any hesitation he attacked. Light rays flashed beside him forming a claw,he swiped it across the room trying to hack Zoro into meat paste.

Lily's face was white as a paper. The amount of Qi released by Wu Reng suffocated.

" Two Sword Style, Twin Sparrow! "

Just as she thought it was the end, a voice woke her up.

All she saw was two bright slash cut through the claw, leaving behind a long scar through the restaurant floor.

The shockwaves from the collision destroyed the furniture and everything inside. Zoro picked up Lily and jumped out, fighting in a confined space with her as a liability was dangerous.

Wu Reng was shocked to see a Warrior Master block his attack. But that didn't stump him, his Qi flared again.

" Get back here."

The ground beneath him cracked as he jumped out. Brown coloured Qi swimmed around him forming an armour.

Zoro threw out Lily to a corner and got ready.

Bang!

Wu Reng punched at Zoro with all his might, his rage caused his Qi to go berserk. Zoro's eyes were clear, every movement done by Wu Reng was caught by him.

The punch squarely landed on Zoro's sword. The tremendous force behind it caused Zoro to skid through the ground, he stopped a good distance away from Wu Reng.

' What brute force! Warrior Commanders are no joke! '

His senses began to tune in to the fight. Wu Reng punched out again and again, each hit targeted Zoro's critical parts, intending to take his life.

" Millennium Crush! "

Suddenly Wu Reng's Qi blasted out, forcing out Zoro. A crushing power erupted from him and condensed above his fist.

' Bad! '

Zoro was a bit late. He was punched in the gut and flew away. He crashed through a building and laid on the rubble.

" I won't kill you! I will skin you alive and feed you to the dogs! "

Zoro slowly stood up, he coughed out a mouthful of blood.

' I can catch his movements but his speed is too great, I can't keep up!! '

Zoro held his two swords and got ready. This fight wasn't over.

The spectators were stunned. They saw a Warrior Master stand his ground against a Warrior Commander!!

What kind of genius was this? Since when did their City produce one?

Wu Reng's face was ugly. It shamed him to no extent to see a mere Warrior Master stand his ground against him!

Qi gathered beneath his feet, his leg muscles contracted giving off strong sense of power.

Bang!

Like a bullet his body blasted towards Zoro.

' Can't take that head on! '

Qi gathered around Wu Reng's body forming the shape of a huge claw.

" Earth Dragon Claw!! "

Every fiber in Zoro's body was concentrated to its limit. In the face of death his Haki became calm and collected, a subtle aura covered his sword.

The two swords hummed.

As the claw was inches away from his Zoro moved.

" Two Sword style, Flowing Stream! "

Like water running through rocks, his body swayed left and right. The claw missed it target.

Boom!

The ground was smashed to pieces. A huge crater now occupied where the claw hit. Wu Reng stood inside, his eyes showed an unbelievable expression.

Zoro spat out another mouthful of blood, his body staggered and nearly fell down.

Wu Reng grabbed his throat in horror. Blood broke out like a tide, Wu Reng frantically tried to cover his wound but to no avail. His life leaked out before his eyes.

" Father!! "

A young woman yelled out. She dashed towards Wu Reng, but all she could do was to watch as he died.

Her eyes stared at Zoro with rage.

" You!! You killed my father!! Aaaahhhh..... "

In rage she drew a slender sword beside her waist and went forward to kill Zoro.

Zoro easily dodged it. Eventhough he was heavily wounded, a warrior apprentice was easy for him.

He tried to knock her out, but her rage kept her from going unconscious.

Like a mad bull she attacked Zoro.

With no other choice Zoro punched her gut. The woman vomited and fell down, her eyes glared hatefully at Zoro.

Zoro steadied his breathing and was about to retreat.

" Kill him!! "

A coarse tell echoed. Zoro looked back to see the woman holding Wu Si's body yell at the soldiers around him.

Like a swarm they surrounded Zoro. All these were soldiers, they have went through blood and bones so even if they saw their City Lord die they wouldn't falter.

Zoro was prepared for another battle, but a voice rang through the entire city. His body wasn't in any condition to do so but considering the situation he didn't have a choice.

" Who dares to harm him!!? "
