Zain picked up the sword in a manner that made it feel like the sword was a whole different object altogether, that she hadn't wielded before. She immediately held the sword firmly in front of her, then she began to move back towards the centre of the platform where Sebastian stood. She went slowly and cautiously, till she eventually stopped right in front of him. She went to his side, and he held her hand.
"Don't you ever do that again, he could have killed you," said Sebastian.
"Yeah, but at least I got the blade," replied Zain.
Sebastian looked at her pitifully and sincerely.
"So what are you going to do with it?" he asked.
Zain scoffed.
"Fight them of course. You heard the man, I need it," she replied.
Zain observed that among all the men surrounding them, no one was armed. She considered this an advantage.
