02. This Wasn't Joke

"Bro I got 100 points and 300 extra points to finish reading it first by just skipping it so just skip everything and get extra point lmao"

One of my colleagues said as he was the first to finish reading the guide in our office.

'That's bad advice… we don't even know what is a point so why will someone skip something as important as a guide for a thing which we don't even know.'

"Jegal Haneul-Ssi, let's skip it and get more points than others!!" Han Mi-Kyong just like always acted childish with a bright smile. 

"I said before and I will say now do what you desire but please don't disturb me and also advice from a friend if you think of me as a friend never do anything without thinking twice."

 She pouts softly "I am not active enough to read over 10 pages with each over ten thousand words."

"Hm…" I just answered with a hm noise because I no longer wanted to waste my time and memorize everything. 

Ten minutes later.

I just finished reading the whole guide just before a second the penalty screen appeared.

Han Mi-Kyong, looking at this horrible scene of blood, hugged my arm as I was closest to her and luckily she did not see me smiling like a creepy psychopath this time. 

I fixed my expression and partially hugged her back and put my hand on her head to calm her down "Calm down…"

"B-blood…" Tears started to fall from her eyes as she started to shake in fear which I already expected as she has always been a kind girl who could see no one hurt.

She wiped her tears and nodded understanding what I meant which I also expected because I knew she is quite a smart girl. 

"So-" Before I could finish my sentence a new screen appeared before mine and everyone else's eyes.

Even in this panic and scary situation everyone paid attention to the screen because they have understood this thing is NOT a joke. 

Thanks to most of them being web novels and novel lovers they had an idea about what they should be doing so even without reading the guide they started to instantly complete the task.

'Um…' While everyone was doing the given task in hurry I calmly read everything because of the fact this quest gave us 30 minutes which is easier than the previous one which was to read 10 pages of the guide with a time limit of 10 minutes.

'Something is weird… why would the system give us so much time when it could be done so easily… Perhaps because the distribution of points in stats and skills is very important… I should warn Mi-Kyong about this too…'

"Okay done!" Han Mi-Kyong said happily as she had already recovered from the trauma just now. 

"By done you don't mean the quest, right…?" I asked with a disappointed sigh. 

"I meant the quest… why?" She answered innocently.

There was a weird silence between us for a couple of seconds as we stared at each other "Nevermind…" I looked away and focused on thinking about what I should do. 

She pouts "You meanie tell me what do you mean!" She hit me on the back gently just like she always did when I acted this way to her but… this time for some reason I felt like my bones just broke. 

I jumped away from there and looked at her with wide eyes filled with fear and a bit of tears "You…" 

I already understood the situation, this girl spends all her points on her physical power stats "You… You… You idiot!" 

After that, she applied a spray on my back because luckily none of my bones broke, and just applying the spray on my back will make it better. 

"Did you really spend all your points on the physical power stats?"

"Yes…"

"What is your class?" 

"Warrior."

I let out a sigh of relief "Luckily by mistake you spent your points correctly, for now, that is."

"I actually didn't spend all my points on physical power stats…"

"Um? So you also spend your points on other stats?"

"No… but I spend 70% on physical power stats and 30% on sword dance skill."

"..."

Again there was a weird silence between us for a couple of seconds but 5hen I broke it with "Nevermind… let me complete the quest as well." I looked away from her. 

She pouted again with tearful eyes and walked away from me in anger but I just sigh and decided to ignore her for now.
