Wake Me Out of This Nightmare

-THE FIRST TRIAL-

--Belle's Perspective--

I woke up with my head in Eo's lap, and people all around me were drained of energy and scarred beyond belief.

"Oh, you're awake. Um... I'm not sure how to tell you this without it sounding like we lost... but we lost..." Eo muttered while staring at the ground.

"L-Lost? What are you talking about?" I asked her. Boo limped over to me and sat on the ground, putting her hand on my shoulder and gripping it as tight as she could.

"My muscles aren't working... and... I don't want to be the one to tell you this..." Boo wiped tears off of her face and her grip loosened as she turned my body toward Shike's decapitated body.

I was in disbelief. I was convinced this was an illusion... it had to have been... there's no way he died...

I pushed my weak body over to him, holding his hand in mine and looking at him.

His head was rolled on the ground... right over there...

"Shike...? Hey... why... why..." I started to sob into his blood-soaked shirt and my surroundings got silent.

"She took Sky... and that girl... we're left here, we can't go anywhere because of this dome... what the hell? How did we lose that badly?" Boo asked, kicking the dome with a weakened stance.

"We still have our lives, we have to be thankful for that..." Mitra butted in and Myth nodded beside him.

"Bullshit we do! Everything that gave our lives meaning is destroyed or dead around us! There's nothing!" Boo yelled out.

"Guys... calm down... we need to bury Ali someplace..." Alexia said.

Ali was dead too?! Dammit... DAMMIT!

I slammed my fist into the cracked rock beside Shike and me and continued to stare at the ground. It isn't even worth living here anymore... I should just join him...

"Are you just going to sit there?" A voice came from outside of the dome. I was annoyed at it, and when I looked up, I saw a girl with blonde hair like I had, one black eye, one red eye, and a look of irritation on her face.

"Who the hell are you?" I asked her. She was sort of scary...

"Dani. Get your asses out of there." She told us.

"Hey, genius, if we could, we would've done that already!" Boo said to the girl, gaining attitude as time went on.

"Pipe down you stupid bitch. Don't make me break a hole open just to beat your ass." Dani said.

"Hey, we don't want to fight, alright?! Just... tell us, how can we open this dome? Do you have any clues?" I asked the mean girl named Dani.

"..."

She stood silent, but that finally changed after her eyes darted over to Alexia.

"Why did your heartbeat just rise? What do you know?" Dani asked her.

"W-What? Um, I was just thinking... this reminds me of the ability I used to trap Ali and Providence in another dome... hey, Eo, can I take control of this one as well?" Alexia asked Eo.

Alexia managed to grab ahold of the dome and absorb the strands into her body. It was that weird ability Sky had, but it managed to deter our form of captivation... and our safety from this mean girl standing in front of us. She had such a scary aura when she looked at me.

She walked past everybody and straight up to Eo, looking down at her as she got closer.

"There are two of you... which one is the real one?" Dani asked her. I was confused, but Eo seemed to know what she meant.

"It's a split. I'm fifty percent of the person you met. We're the same person." Eo told her. What was going on?

"No matter for now. I need to find Illya, do you know how I can get to her?" Dani asked Eo again.

"Not a clue," Eo mentioned, but Boo seemed mad again.

"Hey, listen, you can't just come in here and interrupt us to find Illya. Alright? It's hopeless if you go alone... she's too powerful... she can read minds..." Boo said. Dani wasn't having that explanation though and diffused it with a wave of her hand.

"She was reading his mind because she put him here. She can't read minds. She didn't see you, did she?" Dani and Boo. Boo actually shot back in surprise, considering the thought Dani just put into her head.

"No... I'm not even detecting Sky's strands inside of The First Trial. Did they return to the Real World? No... there..." Eo pushed her body up as she held her left hand to her head and walked over to a nearby rock that remained from what looked like a fallen island from the sky.

Dani walked over to the rock and slammed her fist into it, chipping a large portion of it away by pulverizing it into dust. She stunned everybody around her as the island almost tipped over from the sheer power of her punch, but she only shook her hand around after punching it.

After shaking her hand around, she seemed to fixate on her White Stone, then looked over to the rest of us.

"Belle... Alexia... Buusu... Mitra... Myth... Eo... and what would've been Shike... that's Seven..." She said.

"What about Seven? This is all that's left of us." Myth told her.

"Yeah dipshit, I know that. You Seven... you are my White Stones." She said.

"What are you even saying? We're your White Stones? Get real, none of us belong to you." Boo told Dani again. It's so annoying when she gets defensive and turns rude.

"Yes, you do. I'll prove it." Dani muttered. She rose her left hand and swiped it left. When she did, some text appeared in my left eye.

[System Alert: A Deity is Pinging Your Location]

What the hell?

"How... how are we your White Stones? That doesn't even make sense... and why was it calling you a Deity?!" Boo yelled out to her.

"Miss Asterio gave me her Deity DNA, along with Providence's DNA as well, to put the DNA of Two Deities into me. I didn't know people would know about my progression... but here we are." Dani mentioned.
