"Here I come Suzuki-kun!" She yelled, running toward him, her staff in her hands.
His katana still sheathed inside the scabbard, Suzuki lifted his left hand, holding the sword. The scabbard meeting with the swinging staff of Momo, producing a noise, similar to two metal objects colliding with each other.
In the middle of the area, the two of them were unmoving, their weapons, stuck in a deadlock. A few seconds later, Momo's body staff was slightly trembling, visibly trying to resist the force exerted by Suzuki's left hand. Seeing that she couldn't push him, she jumped away thinking about a better approach. Knowing that she could not win in a strength battle.
Suzuki was him, still unmoving, not having any intention of going after her. He was visibly assessing her strategic mind and her comportment during a fight.
'I can't win in a strength contest, I will use the fact he is underestimating me to deal a great hit.' Momo thought, creating more distance between her and the still unmoving Suzuki.
"..." Suzuki observed her, knowing that she plans to attack him by surprise, pretending to fail her first attack.
"It's all over your face." He said, scrutinizing her face.
"What?"
"Your thoughts." He replied, dashing toward her, not with his maximum speed, knowing that she could not follow his moves otherwise.
'I don't have the time to pursue my plan!' Momo thought, hastily swinging her staff in front of him, trying to defend herself from Suzuki's swing.
Her staff collided once again Suzuki's scabbard, this time, the outcome was different since she got launched back from a few meters before she dug her weapon in the ground, putting her slide to an end.
'My hands are numb from just a clash?!' Momo thought, feeling numbness in her hands after parrying Suzuki's hit.
"Good block, but if I was using the sharp side of my sword and my quirk, your staff would have been cut in two, like the rest of your body." Suzuki declared looking at Momo.
"..."
"Can you continue?" Suzuki said, looking at Momo who was looking at her hands, probably numb.
"...Yes, I must persevere otherwise, how could I be a hero?"
"If it is what you want, then come at me." He said, smiling at her determination, almost shining from her eyes.

A few minutes later, Suzuki was seen standing at his first spot, his katana still sheathed and looking toward a panting Momo on the ground who was trying to catch her breath.
'He is way too strong!' Momo thought, looking at Suzuki who didn't sweat at all.
Each time she tried to attack him using a new strategy, he without even doing his best, parried her attack while hitting her back. The first plan she used against him, consisted of the use of smoke bombs. She thought that him being blinded by the smoke, would allow her to exploit an opening.
That's why she created a machinegun, filled with a hundred of rubber bullets, she then pointed at where Suzuki's figure was before the smoke hid him.
However, when she shot inside the smoke, they each made contact with a solid thing. The noise heard after was, the noise of some rubber bullet colliding against the katana scabbard. Suzuki didn't parry each bullet, but he also dodged a lot, by slightly tilting his body left and right.
"Good try, but my sixth sense is developed beyond human means, parrying such an attack is easy for everyone in my team." She remembered him saying this after the smoke cleared.
"We better stop here, you already passed my test with flying color. But let me warn you, for 10 months you will live hell, the training will leave you exhausted every day whether physically or mentally. Are you determined to be stronger?" Suzuki asked, putting an end to the sparring session while laying his sword against his shoulder.
"My decision didn't change, and it won't." She said lifting her eyes from the ground, having her breath under a regular pace once again.
"I want you to train me, I must do it if I want to be worthy of going to Yuei." She said with determination, looking in Suzuki's eyes. Purple and black looking at each other for a full minute, neither one breaking the contact.
"I see... you are certain of your choice. Good, I wouldn't want a student with a weak will. I will see you tomorrow, we will set up the program for the next 10 months.
We have a lot to do." He said, walking towards the exit.
"Ah yes!" He said, remembering something. "Give me your phone number it will be much more useful than to talk via the urgency channel reserved for well, the urgency concerning your family."

Some kilometers away from the Yaoyorozu mansion, Erza and Katsu were sitting in a luxurious white room, in front of an old man whose beard was even whiter than the already white room. This old man was drinking a glass of whiskey, not phased at all by the news his bodyguard just communicated to him.
"What is it?" Erza asked looking at this man's face.
"They are already here."
"What?!" Katsu yelled, surprised while getting up, he was shocked to hear it.
Erza's face was slowly becoming grimmer knowing that they have to stall for time, to let the man's escape. But the issue is that if the enemy is many, their chance of keeping the man's alive was quite low, let alone help him even them were at risk!
They got sent by their boss, they knew that the mission was not so simple. That's why he sent the second and third more powerful members to do it. Suzuki having to stay at the base for the protection of the Yaoyorozu.
They just had to protect Iwao Eton from the Jaegers, since they for the first time, captured their movement. Iwao was targetted by some terrorist organizations since he was at the head of an important economic business in Japan. This terrorist organization used the Jaegers to dispose of him, that's why only the two of them were dispatched, knowing that they might use this operation as a diversion to kill or kidnap the Yaoyorozu.
"Do you know how much they are?" She asked, looking at Iwao's figure, raising from his comfortable-looking chair.
"They are two, and I find it perfect since you are two too. You should be able to kill them very quickly right?" He declared, lifting his arms for the bodyguard behind him to help him putting a coat.
With a frown on his face, Katsu replied "We aren't raised to be assassin as they are, we are just a sort of special unit, but you should quickly go to your helicopter, we are gonna fight for real here."
"Yeah yeah sure, if you lose, I don't know if the government will still have a face you know? Putting so much time and resources in your education only for you to fail." The man said while walking towards the door leading to the roof of the building where a helicopter was starting his engine.
"You!-"
"Shut up." Erza said, stopping an angry Katsu to say more than he should have.
Once the man left the room, the two of them waited there and prepared to fight against the two Jaegers members.
"Why did you stopped me? I would've put him in his place."
Katsu asked starting a conversation with Erza.
"I know, but we don't have the time to do that now, and his fall will be quite hard after what is waiting for him."
"What are you talking about?"
"Don't tell me you forgot about the pieces of evidence that Kiku and Hitomi are gathering on him? We talked about that one week ago!" Erza said, bewildered by his carefree attitude.
"Well... I don't pay much attention to the meeting concerning complicated things..." Katsu said, rubbing his right hand on the back of his head.
Sighting at his antics, she said to him "Just so you know, after we put his network down, the government will imprison him and make the case public. His son will be put at the head of the business and as the contract requires it, the whole company will be overseen by the government behind the scenes."
"His son? I thought that he was dead? It was in the newspaper and all." Katsu said, genuinely surprised.
"You really didn't listen... We faked his death to protect him from his father, who wanted to kill him. He is paranoid as fuck."
"So the father will be declared as the public enemy, while his son, the poor abused son who was forced to fake his death will be considered as a new start for the company and behind the shadow, the government will control him?"
"Your sudden intelligence is frightening me. But yes what you said is accurate, we will be able to control the business that we couldn't when his father was in charge." Erza said, looking at him with surprise.
"Heh... I am not dumb you know!" Katsu exclaimed, faking a sad expression behind his mask.
"Whatever seems like our guests are finally here." Erza said, turning toward the door who was soon smashed across the spacious room in the direction of our masked duo. Katsu smashing it on the floor with a simple punch.
"So... you are the famous Jaegers?" Erza asked, looking at the new figure who just emerged in the room.
The battle was about to start!
