With a sense of urgency, Smith and the Paladin left the mansion and headed towards the location marked on the paper. The journey was not far, but it led them deep into the forest, a place that most people avoided.

The dense foliage of the forest made it difficult to see what was ahead, and the only sounds that could be heard were the rustling of leaves and the chirping of birds.

As they walked deeper into the forest, Smith couldn't shake off the feeling of unease that was building up inside him. He had a nagging suspicion that something was not right and that they were walking into a trap.

The Paladin, on the other hand, remained calm and composed, his expression unreadable. He seemed to be scanning their surroundings, searching for any signs of danger.

After walking for what seemed like an eternity, they finally arrived at the location marked on the paper. It was a small clearing in the forest, surrounded by tall trees and dense undergrowth.
