In Asgard, a portal far larger than those used by the Shadow Hunters flashed with a rainbow light, and soon after, Robert appeared, looking around with a mix of surprise and confusion.
Robert could distinctly feel that the environment here was radically different from Earth, with the air filled with a power he recognized—one that he had been studying recently in Mjolnir, apart from its thunderous energy...
Now, Robert understood that this was probably Asgard's exclusive divine power, similar to the Zeus power in Diana, a power that only those with divine lineage could wield. However, this did not mean that divine power was exclusive to deities!
"Hmm?" As Robert was observing the surroundings of Asgard, Diana and Frigga also emerged from the portal.
With a clash, the Sword of the God of Fire collided with Frigga's longsword, and once again, Diana was sent flying by Frigga. It was clear that in terms of sheer power, Diana was still no match for Frigga, especially now that Frigga was also emanating a divine power identical to that of Odin!
"Is this transferring one's own power to another?" Robert thought to himself, ready to rush over and swap opponents with Diana, but she stopped him.
"Are you trying to take my opponent?" Diana shook her numbing arm, glaring at Robert who was preparing to charge.
"You are not her match..." Robert awkwardly responded after hearing Diana's words.
"What? Just because I'm not her match, you are?" Diana retorted angrily, "It sounds like you think you are stronger than me. How strong are you, exactly? Why don't I see you defeating me?"
"Uh..." At Diana's question, Robert was momentarily at a loss for words. However, at that moment, his expression changed, and he quickly pointed towards Diana's side, releasing a Dodon Ray.
"Distracted during battle, how did Zeus teach you... Huh?!" Just as Frigga started to speak, realizing the incoming danger, she knew she could land a critical hit on Diana with her blade but would then be struck by the Dodon Ray.
With a swift motion, Frigga accurately countered by slashing her blade through the Dodon Ray, dispersing it.
At the same moment, Diana, sensing something amiss—or rather, seeing Robert use the Dodon Ray—had already swung her Sword of the God of Fire towards Frigga. This coordination between Robert and Diana, despite not having met for a while, still existed.
With a hum, a mysterious light appeared in front of Frigga's chest, blocking the attack of the Sword of the God of Fire, and then her blade, having just dispersed the Dodon Ray, swung back towards Diana.
Frantically, Frigga, though regal and seemingly gentle, proved herself a formidable warrior in combat. Whether attacking, defending, or adapting, she performed flawlessly, matching Diana blow for blow.
With a clang, Diana's divine shield blocked the strike, and Robert, ready to assist, was stopped as Heimdall returned and closed the Bifrost Bridge. The exchange between Robert, Diana, and Frigga had happened in an instant.
With a swing, Heimdall attacked Robert with the Sword of the Bifrost, this time without the rainbow light, but the sword carried a significant force, prompting Robert to respond with a Ki Blade from his palm, aiming at the Bifrost Sword.
With a clang, the Ki Blade collided with the Bifrost Sword, not shattering but transforming instantly at the moment of impact into a scythe aiming straight for Heimdall's heart.
With a shout, Heimdall, caught off guard by Robert's sudden change in tactics, roared as Odin's power surged through him, making the Ki Blade's scythe struggle like it was mired in mud, unable to pierce Heimdall's chest.
With a hiss, but at that moment, a powerful force burst forth from Robert, a green aura enveloping him, startling Heimdall, especially after Robert transformed into his Giant Ape Fury form. Heimdall realized that the Odin power he possessed seemed insufficient to stop the advancing Ki Blade.
"What kind of power is this? Divine? No, this isn't divine power, what is it?" Heimdall retreated, dodging the Ki Blade attacks while pondering, "Why haven't I seen him use this power before?"
Previously, when Robert wielded Mjolnir, neither Odin nor Heimdall had noticed this power in Robert. If Robert had used this power against Loki back then, Loki might have been obliterated on the spot.
Even as Heimdall retreated, he couldn't entirely escape the Ki Blade's assault, as Robert pursued, eventually driving the Ki Blade through Heimdall's armor and into his heart.
With a hum, at that moment, a power unlike any other burst
forth from Heimdall—a pure dark energy that seemed wholly out of place in the shining Asgard.
This dark power instantly disintegrated the Ki Blade at Heimdall's chest and began to heal his wounds, while a tremendous force erupted from the Bifrost Sword, pushing Robert back.
"What the hell? A mask?" Robert's eyes widened in surprise, staring at the dark energy emanating from Heimdall. He wasn't sure if it was just his imagination, but he felt that Heimdall's dark power was very similar to the dark energy in the mask—of course, it could also be that all dark powers looked this sinister.
"Let the dark power flow through my body, let me eliminate the invaders for Asgard, continue to guard Asgard..." However, after pushing Robert back, Heimdall did not immediately attack but stood muttering some strange words.
With a hum, Robert wasn't going to just watch Heimdall finish his strange chant before attacking. While Heimdall was still chanting, Robert had already charged up a Kamehameha Wave and blasted it towards Heimdall.
With a hiss, as the Kamehameha Wave reached Heimdall, he swung his sword, the Bifrost Sword pulsing with a dark energy that showed a hint of rainbow light within the darkness, demonstrating what might be called a colorful darkness.
The dark energy clashed with the Kamehameha Wave, creating a powerful shockwave and pressure that started to shake the foundations of the gateway to Asgard, with nearby buildings threatening to crumble under the strain!
With a shout, as Robert and Heimdall were locked in combat, Heimdall uttered a word and then, from behind Robert, a powerful light surged towards him from within Asgard, appearing to leave him no chance to dodge.
With a ha, if it had been Robert without comprehensive development, he might have had to choose between abandoning his attack on Heimdall or taking the hit from the light. But a fully developed Robert was not so easily dealt with; a telekinetic barrier appeared behind him, blocking the sneak attack and even rebounding towards Heimdall, catching him off guard while he was still dealing with the Kamehameha Wave, striking him directly with telekinetic force, finding yet another way to win!
With a rumble, as Heimdall's attack was interrupted, the Kamehameha Wave pushed back the dark energy and struck Heimdall directly, blasting a huge hole in the walls of the gateway to Asgard. Beyond the breach was not outer space but, like the situation Loki had faced, a chaotic stream of space.
Heimdall, along with the Kamehameha Wave, disappeared into the spatial turbulence, his Bifrost Sword falling to the ground, another weapon exploded.
On the other side, Frigga had never expected Robert's strength to be so formidable. In such a short time, he not only forced Heimdall's dark magic ace up his sleeve but also blasted Heimdall into oblivion. While she had managed to suppress Diana and even wound her, she had not achieved a definitive victory...
With a swoosh, at that moment, Robert launched another attack towards Frigga, with Diana appearing somewhat disheveled—certainly, Robert had never seen Diana so bedraggled during their previous battles.
However, from the distracted sensing of the battle between Diana and Frigga, Robert could tell that both Frigga and Diana's strengths were greater than Heimdall's, even after Heimdall's burst of dark power.
So, while it might seem easy for Robert to deal with Heimdall, that was because, after the burst of dark power, Heimdall's strength hadn't completely surpassed Robert's level, and he knew very little about Robert's capabilities. Ultimately, under the dual attack of full-power Kamehameha Wave and telekinetic attack, he was blasted into the spatial turbulence.
It could be said that Heimdall faced the simultaneous attacks of two opponents at Robert's level, which is why he was defeated so quickly and miserably. When Robert attacked Frigga, it wasn't as smooth; from the way Robert's techniques were repeatedly countered by Frigga, it was clear that Frigga's absolute strength was greater than Robert's!
With a hiss, this time was no different; Robert's sneak attack merely eased the pressure on Diana without posing any threat to Frigga.
If Heimdall, Robert, and Diana could all be considered main god-level combatants, then Frigga was undoubtedly at the level of a sub-Sky Father, a tier above the other three, especially since she also possessed numerous divine artifacts, her strength not narrowed by Diana's equipment, but rather even more pronounced...
Robert had seen sub-Sky Father level powerhouses before, whether it was Rachel or the binary form of Carol, all were at this level. Robert didn't
know which of these three was more powerful, but he still had a gap to this level, even with his Giant Ape Fury transformation, as this was already at the level of Super Saiyan!
Of course, such a gap wouldn't make Robert choose to retreat; he couldn't let Diana face such a formidable enemy alone. Facing an overpowering foe together was also a Saiyan tradition.
With a beep-beep-beep, however, Robert's plan was thwarted, as strange sounds rang out within Asgard and the Asgardian army began to assemble, coming down the materialized Bifrost Bridge towards the gateway to Asgard.
With a swoosh, Robert ignored the approaching Asgardian soldiers and charged towards Frigga. Compared to these soldiers, Frigga was the real threat. If they couldn't defeat Frigga, they had no chance of victory.
Although Robert alone was not a match for Frigga, together with Diana, they might still stand a chance to fight.
