In the very center of a large city, there was a semi-automatic device called a Barrier Generator.

With the semi-automatically executed ritual spell formed by the Decree magic, the barrier that should have only lasted for three days could be extended indefinitely. As long as the materials were continually replenished, the barrier could be maintained without end.
