Tear trickle

"I didn't bring up your ex, Dhruv. I just stated a Doctor who advised her patient to take help from her friends. You were the one who assumed things before even listening a word."

Their voices were quite high that due to the half open door, they were reverberating in the in the corridor too.

"You always need help. Have you ever helped me?" Dhruv stated while standing up on his feet.

"Have you ever taken my help?" Kaya stated after a lopsided disgusted smile. Listening their high voices, Su Yeon and Ji Wook who have returned earlier from the beach also came there after listening the voices and to their surprise, they found them fighting.

"You know what its going bad. You are drunk and so do I." Kaya said when she walked a few steps away from him with her back facing him. "Why? Can't you listen your truth? Can't you accept? That Sam is still in there in your feelings. Even today you can't jump off in water. You can't even talk about him." Dhruv baffled a few more things about her and Sam which she listened patiently before sighing as she tried to calm herself. "You are such a jackass." She spoke and sighed again when Eun Woo saw a tear trickle down her cheek.

"Dhruv...Let her go—" She swallowed the rest of her words when a warm hand wrapped her wrist and pulled her to a hug in a blink. Hmm..Yeah! Right! None other than 'The Han Eun Woo'. She didn't resist his touch neither his hug like she was waiting for that. She suddenly felt loosen up. She leaned more into that. He knew that it was a matter between the othe two and he shouldn't interfere but he wouldn't let her cry. The safety, comfort and settlement in his arms was like what she was looking for.

His one hand was holding her wrist and other was wrapped around her back as her face was buried in his chest. He looked down at her as his shirt was getting wet knowing that she was crying but still not letting out a single sob, careful to not let anybody know that she is crying except Eun Woo as she clutched his shirt tight at the sides with both of her hands. Dong Hwa pulled Dhruv to go out of the room that's when Dhruv realised about what he just said and what she was trying to say.

He walked a step towards Kaya who was wrapped in Eun Woo's arms completely now. He spoke very softly, "Kaya. Am —" but Eun Woo snapped his head towards Dhruv and gave a death glare to him with his stern eyes which surely gave him goosebumps even in summer. The room which was filled with two voices has now been emptied with cold silence.

Ha Won pulled him out of the room as Dong Hwa, Ji Wook and Su Yeon also left.

Just when he stepped out of the room, before anyone could say something, Dhruv spoke, "I want to be alone. Please." And he left the corridor to walk down the stairs.

While inside the room, Eun Woo was still holding Kaya tight to his chest and she sobbed unstoppingly wrapping her arms around his lower back and clutching his shirt.

He was lightly rubbing her back to soothe her. They stood like that for what they call ages. He wasn't getting tired at all and he felt her earlier tense body was loosing up a bit as her clenched hands were just lying there simply now and his shirt was also not getting wet anymore, so he took it as she is not crying, which was a sure relief for him.

Kaya wasn't thinking of anything and neither did he. As they both were living the present of being with each other in each other's arms as like that's what they were longing for.

After a long.....time, Kaya finally spoke when she lifted her face up which brushed his nape. Her eyes were heavy because of crying and all the drinks. Her voice was little hoarse too. "Can we go somewhere else?" She said while facing the wall behind his back.

"Umm... what about terrace?" Eun Woo whispered in air.

"Ok!!" She said while trying to giving his lower waist a little push so that he could free her from his hold who was very reluctant to unwrap his arms. But still he let go her and slid his hand down to hers just to interwind their fingers while fixing his stare on her face.

When she noticed his hand sliding down, she lowered her gaze to watch her hand getting fitted in his big hand. Then she lifted her neck to look at him with with an unreadable expression on her face to which he just smiled and pulled her towards the stairs to terrace. She followed her without any thought and watching his back figure.

Soon they were standing on the terrace against the fence. The sky has turned dark than earlier when she was out on the beach, well— laughing with Dhruv. Here she is now, after a fight with him. All drunk and cried over. When the sunshine days turn dark in a blink, we never get to know. But there are stars and moon to lighten up the dark giving the hope that this night will pass and a new day will shine.

Her every question was with —why? Why did she have to fall for Sam? Why was she not able to forget him? Why all of his memories are still fresh in her mind? Why his just one mention and she loses all her shit? Why?? Why f**ki*g him? Why?

When she was deep in her thoughts, sometimes a furrow between her brows, sometimes a sigh or a fainted smile of consoling herself or the pool of tears in her eyes. Eun Woo was watching her carefully, noticing everything. But he waited patiently for her to speak instead of interrupting her self talk. And all the time holding her hand and rubbing the back of her hand with his thumb to comfort her, which she was really getting.

But inspite of saying anything else, she whispered in his ear before winking at him, "Wait here!!" just to go downstairs to the room. Her hoarse whispered voice made his nape hairs stand up. He couldn't help but stare at her back till she disappeared. He then rubbed his neck while shaking it side to side with a small smile threatening to plaster on his lips.
