Soju is an art

"Here's your bottle!!" Kaya came up to the terrace with a pack of green coloured bottles held in between her stomach and her right hand and one bottle in her left hand which she was handing over to Eun Woo with a big grin on her face like she is doing something proudful.

When she was standing with some green bottles in her hands, he was utterly shock as his mouth fell open and his small eyes widened. The look on his face was saying that, 'Seriously?! You just had a whole bottle of wine for yourself.'

He was not moving even a bit except being a shocked breathing statue whose big eyes were glued to the bottles which she was clinging to herself like her babies and the other one, which she was handing over to him with a grin on her face was not accepted by him as he couldn't, he was really shocked. He never met someone who could drink all day.

Because she was drinking since they had their brunch thhen later in the afternoon too she was with a beet bottle then he saw her terribly chugging the wine except the fact when she beautifully swayed her hair to side which made Eun Woo gulp on his saliva and now again here she was with more drinks. 'Does this girl really have no limits on alcohol?'

He sighed before taking the bottle from her hand and patted the cushion lying next to him gesturing her to sit here. She crouched down on both her knees to safely place the bottles on the floor before getting up to sit near him on the cushion.

They were sitting inside the rooftop deck which was more of like a cubicle with full length glass walls and transparent glass ceiling giving a complete view of the sky above and whole terrace. The cubicle was decorated by dim hanging lights and big cushions at the edges. It has a whole length cupboard at the base of one glass wall.

"Your place is really very nice." Kaya said while grinning at him as the sound of sea waves was adding a good background music. "I should have come here earlier." She said while opening the lid of the bottle she just picked.

"Have you drank it before?" Eun Woo wiggleed his brows.

Kaya first looked at him and then at the bottle. She was neither calm nor shocked. But anyway, she took the sip of the fluid inside it. "It was lying there with beer. But we are out of beer. So, i brought it." She took another sip and said, "Its harsh... umm a bit bitter. So, i'm sure that its alcohol which i badly want now."

He sighed and lowered his head while waving his head side to side and his palms resting on his thighs. He tilted his neck to look at her from the periphery of his eyes. "Its THE SOJU!!" He moved the bottle infront of her eyes making her gasp in surprise at his furiated condition. "If you don't know about this, you don't know the Korea. You can't have this heavenly drink like this. Watch me!"

She couldn't understand him but she just nodded to be curious about what he was going to show her. He pulled the small table lying at one corner of glass cubicle and placed all the bottles at an edge of that table. He was about to get up from the floor when he thought of asking her, "Are we.... anyhow out of shot glasse?"

Kaya folded her arms under his chest and gave a nod. "Well i didn't find them anywhere. I wanted to drink vodka the other night but vodka without shot glasses— absolutely not my thing."

"Tsk.. Tsk.." Eun Woo lowered his head and swang it side to side while his palms resting on his thighs. "Ok!! So.." He suddenly looked up at her making her again gasp with his enthusiasm. "Drinking soju is an art. Its an etiquette that you must have." His voice was exceptionally soft and melodic. "First feel it." He touched the bottle with his face and closed his eyes while sighing with satisfaction.

"Then you see this beatific liquid with your utmost purity." His eyes were really shinning. This was the first time, she has seen him this zealous, otherwise he mostly is so urbane. She was loving this naive and unsophisticated side of him.

That sparkle in his hazel eyes as he was very happy was making her want more and more of him. She felt that they both are in their teens and they are on a night out without telling anyone. They are trying alcohol for the first time and his boyfriend is teaching her the drinking etiquettes. 'Oh! No! Stop it! He is not my boyfriend.' She hitted her head in her thoughts. 'Concentrate!!' Instinctively, she picked the bottle she was drinking from earlier, to drink so that she could wash away her teeny thoughts. But she was stopped when Eun Woo hitted the table top with his palm. "Yahhhh!!! First learn the etiquettes, only then you can drink it." His brows knitted and his upper lip is raised from one side.

Sensing this tense state, she contemplated whether she should place back the bottle or not, when she finally decided to place it back with her lips in forceful smile making her eyes squint a little bit. "Continue!! I'm learning. I really wanna know that why i didn't know about this thing yet." Well, this time she was serious as her best friend, Neel's mom was a Korean and she hadn't known about this etiquette for her whole life. Actually, she was sincerely believing him that this etiquette is necessary, no matter what. That's it.

"Ok!! See the magic of this drink." Eun Woo stated.

She nodded, eyes full of curiosity. He moved and twisted his hands and arms with the speed of bolt in different directions when he finally opened the lid and a drop or two oozed out making it look really like a magic and an art. "Wow!!!!" Kaya clapping and smiling like a little kid in the magic show. "It.. it really is amazing. How.. did you do that?"

Being a proud magician who has made all his audience happy and awed with his magic tricks, he smiled triumphantly. "Thank you!" This is just the Etiquette No. 1. I will teach you rest of etiquettes when we will go back. For now, just enjoy it." He smirked while passing the opened bottle to her and dragged the bottle she had drank a sip from before to drink himself. She didn't notice him taking her bottle as she was awed by his art of soju. But Eun Woo.... may be he wanted to taste..... her.... alcohol, The Soju!! Right!!
