Hiccups and Sobs

Soon Kaya and Eun Woo were buzzed after they both had two bottles down each. Kaya tried to pick up the third bottle, when Eun Woo stopped her. "Enough for today!!" Due to the effect of liquor and wine earlier too, she was hella drunk as she was already lying down on thin carpety mattress on the floor. Her cheeks have been a little red and she is still trying to reach over another bottle.

Her alcohol limits were really too much but she was drinking since noon... this way she must be going to have alcohol poisoning. While Eun Woo he still could down one or more bottle.

"Aa..I...w...want to!!" She couldn't even speak without stuttering.

But Eun Woo was already cautious that she could drink more that's why he slipped the others bottles away from her sight before without letting her know except the bottle that was lying near her that she was now insisting to drink. "Gi...ve me." She tried to get up to snatch the bottle from his hand as she outstretched her hand to take the bottle. But her vision was blurry and her head was spinning like a hurricane and she ended up grabbing his shirt and fell over to the ground again— Uh-oh! she dragged Eun Woo also with her on the ground. Well! most precisely Eun Woo hovering over her while the bottle slipped out of his hand. Thankfully, it didn't break. But the distance between the two people on the terrace has been broken and their noses were just touching with their eyes looking into each other's.

Just a stare of his green hazely eyes make her put down all her gaurds that she had made and a tear slid down the corner of her red eyes. But she didn't moved her eyes when more tears slid down from the corner of her eyes. Eun Woo couldn't figure out what happened and what he did to make her cry.

He thought that she is crying because he didn't let her drink. He furrow grew deeper— 'Am i over her? That's why?'

"I didn't mean this. I just—" He couldn't find more words when more and more tears slid down her eyes. He got up to sit and made her sit also very gently." I'm sorry!!"

She just moved her head from side to side. "Do.." Hiccup!! "Don't...be!!" Hiccup.... Hiccup..... Sob... Sob....

"What happen then? Why are you crying?" Eun Woo asked out of concern when he stretched his hand out to wipe her tears but —he left his hand hanging in the air when he thought that may be it's because of him as he just over her before. But he wants to wipe those tears. He never want her to cry. He doesn't know since when her tears started hurting him also. But they do now— what should he do now. He doesn't want to make her uncomfortable but he wants to comfort her, pull her into his embrace and wipe all her sorrows with her tears.

And he did the latter. He placed the table aside and covered the distance between with them and wiped her tear so softly like he will hurt this beautiful flower if he just even touched her. "Why are you crying? Did i do something wrong?" He pulled her to hug and rubbed her back to calm her down.

Her shoulders were lifting up and down with her sobbing and his shirt once again had gotten wet. "Will you leave me?" His hands stop midway while rubbing her back when he listened her words as the guilt washes over him because he was going to leave her. He is getting married to someone else. He will leave... he certainly will. Though they didn't have any established relationship between them still they don't want to leave each other. They want to live with each other. And leaving each other seemed like breaking apart from each other.

"Huh?" That were the only words he could say when Kaya started speaking and crying again. "Dhruv will also leave me. Everyone leaves me at the end. Why am i that bad? Why? Tell me."

He was taken aback with her confession. And for her, he was the first one to whom she had confessed the real feelings of her heart. She is vulnerable infront of him. She couldn't help this as this is how things are.

Listening her words, he lifted up her chin and looked into her eyes, wiping her tears away. "You are the best and most beautiful thing ever happened to me. Though we haven't spent much time together and i don't know if we will ever could or not but still i know this much and i'm sure about this. Don't ever again think like this about you."

She was dumbstruck with his words and his intense gaze on her which slowly helped her to calm down a bit and she stopped crying a bit later and she shivered when a cold wind blew past them made her shiver as she has worn the off shoulder top and shorts. Still it was summer actually rainy season as it is July but at night by the side of sea with a clouded sky when rain could fall anytime; anyone could feel cold.

Eun Woo noticed her being cold as he held her hands which were so cold. "Let's go down. It might rain anytime." He looked up at the dark cloudy sky.

But Kaya didn't move, she just laid her head on his chest because her head was spinning and her eyes were burning with the crying and the drinks.
