"Come on!" Cloud's voice rang from downstairs. "Where's the bag?" Tifa asked passing by your bedroom door. You sat up and rubbed your eyes glancing at your alarm clock sitting on your dresser. It was 6:27 in the morning. You groaned and let your head fall back onto your pillow when Roxas came in turning on your light. You groaned again and buried your head under your comforter.Roxas chuckled, "Come on [Name], we're going to Destiny Islands today." You sat up quickly throwing the blanket off your head, "Really!?" He nodded and you jumped out of bed running to your closet. "I'll be down in a minute!" You told Roxas as he left your room. After getting dressed you searched your room for a bathing suit. Tifa knocked on your door. "Are you almost ready [Name]?" You opened your door, "I don't have a bathing suit." Tifa chuckled, "I know, I asked Yuffie to bring an extra." You smiled and grabbed your small bag of belongings before following Tifa outside where Roxas and Cloud were waiting. "Where's Ven?" You asked looking around. Cloud smirked, "You'll see."You stepped into Cid's garage and Yuffie tackled you in a hug. "I got you your bathing suit!" You nodded and returned the hug. There was a bright smile on your face that you've had on all morning since Roxas told you the news. Everyone was there wearing their bathing suits with a normal T-Shirt over it. Cid's ship erupted with a loud noise as the engine roared to life. "She's alive!" Cid cheered. Everyone started getting all the stuff on the ship and found their seats on board. You walked over to Cid. "What was wrong with your ship? Did you find the problem?" You asked. Cid chuckled, "Oh I found the problem all right darlin'." As he said that Ven rolled out from under the ship covered in oil and black smudge. His blond hair was ruffled and the oil had stuck some of it onto his forehead."[Name]?!" He asked jumping up, unfortunately he wasn't all the way out though and he hit the bottom of the ship painfully. He groaned and rolled out slowly, Ven pushed his hair back and tried to fix it but ended up just making it worse. You giggled as he gave you a meek smile. "Uhh hey." "So what was the problem?" You asked again. "Some of the engine parts got knocked off and broken." Cid answered."How?" you continued. Ven shuffled his feet looking away. Cid glanced at Ven as he said, "A few lead balls fell into the engine while it was starting." You followed Cid's glare to Ven, but stopped asking questions. Cid clapped, "Well let's get going!" He ran onto the ship, you followed behind him and Ven. You looked around for a seat.

You were about to sit in an open seat when you heard something fall to the floor. Before taking the seat you walked to the ships small bathroom where you heard the falling object. Ven was standing in front of the bathroom mirror with a cloth in his hand. He had dropped a soap bottle that was sitting on the edge of the sink. "Need some help?" You asked. His head shot up to yours. "Oh, I- uh..." He looked at himself in the mirror, "Thanks." You walked over and took the cloth from him and wet it under the sink's flow of warm water. You stood on your tip toes trying to get his hair clean first. "Here." Ven picked you up and set you on the sinks counter resting his hands on either side of you. You blushed before nodding, then you continued wiping his forehead off, pushing back his hair. "So why was Cid glaring at you when we were talking about his ship?" you asked. Ven's eyes softened, "Remember at the dance when I told you that I changed?", you nodded taking a handful of his hair and wiping the oil out of it, "I really did change [Name]." He looked at you solemnly, "Promise you won’t hate me?" You scrunched your face up in confusion, you couldn't imagine yourself ever hating Ven. He took a deep breath before continuing, "I broke Cid's ship. I threw some lead balls into the engine on the day we were going to go to Destiny Island." You stopped wiping his hair. "See you're mad at me now huh?" You smiled at him and wiped the black smudges off his neck. "No. You changed. What you did was in the past, and besides you made up for it. You did help Cid fix the ship after all." Ven smiled. You wiped Ven's cheek with the cloth, leaving your hand there. "I could never hate you Ven." you whispered before letting your hand drop. Ven leaned his face towards yours letting his lips hover in front of yours. He leaned in a little closer, almost closing the gap, when you heard a cough from outside the bathroom doorway. You looked away from Ven to see Cloud standing there with his arms crossed across his chest. "C-Cloud? Hey." You said. Ven leaned back in disappointment; you hopped off the sink counter. "Was I interrupting something?" Cloud asked as he raised one of his eyebrows. "Yes! You possibly have the worst timing in the world bro." Ven complained. "I was helping Ven clean up." You said. Cloud nodded and rolled his eyes, "I’m sure you were."You sat in the front row besides Demyx. He was leaning back in his seat and listening to his mp3 player with his feet propped up against the wall. He didn't even notice as you sat down. You nudged him with your elbow lightly. Demyx looked in your direction and and startled. He smiled widely and pulled out one of his earphones. "Hey [Name]!" He said cheerfully. "Hey Demy. How are you?" You asked casually. "Great! I'm so excited, I can't wait until we get to Destiny Islands! The beach is so beautiful!" He said happily. You nodded in agreement, "I’m excited to!" You looked at his mp3 player, "What are you listening to?" He offered you an ear bud. You took it and put it in. You had your head next to Demyx's so the cord wouldn't tangle. "He's the guy you should feel sorry for, he had the world but that he wanted more, I owe it all to the mistake he made back then, I owe it all to my girl's ex-boyfriend." Demyx sang along with the words and you giggled. He smiled at you."Hey [Name]." You turned around to see Cid calling you. He was standing by the cockpit. "Hey Cid", you walked towards him. He opened the door and ushered you in. You walked in and sat in the passenger seat looking out of the front window. Cid sat down in the pilot seat and flipped a few switches. "Seatbelt darlin." He said. You fumbled with the seatbelt for a moment, but once it was on Cid started the ship. The ship rumbled to life and Cid began to lift the ship off the ground. The roof of Cid's garage slid open and the ship lifted out of it. When the ship rose high into the air Cid said, "Hold on." He hit a button and the ship zoomed off pushing you back into the seat. Before you knew it you were flying past stars in the black of space. "Wow..", you gasped in awe. "Pretty ain't it?" Cid said. You nodded. He chuckled, "Knew you'd like it." Cid stood up stretching and walked over to a drawer throwing something in and closing it. You didn't bother asking what it was. You stood up as well. "How long till we get there?" You asked. Cid thought a minute and turned to face you, "Only a few more minutes. I set it on hyper drive."You nodded and unhooked yourself from the seat and stepped towards Cid so you were right beside him. You looked up at him and he just stared down at you. Slowly, he began to lean down towards you. He stopped only a few inches away from your face. He turned away, "Sorry about that darlin." You shook your head, "I-It's okay. I don't mind." Cid sighed, "You should. I'm way too old for you, I don't know what I'm thinking.." You opened your mouth to say something when the ship began to beep and make noises. Cid walked over to check on things, and you sat back down in your seat.You walked down the aisle looking for a seat when you saw an open seat by Axel. You walked over towards him. "Hey Ax, can I sit here?" You asked smiling. "No." He said with a smirk, your smile fell. "But you can sit here." He grabbed you around the waist and pulled you into his lap, holding you close to him. You blushed, and he chuckled. "Comfortable?" He whispered in your ear, it sent shivers down your spine. He turned you so you were facing him. "There, now I got a seat with a gorgeous view." He smirked and you snapped out of your daze. "Axel let go." You moved around trying to free yourself. He leaned his forehead on yours, "Don’t act like you don't like it [Name]. I know you too well, got it memorized?" You blushed because he was dead right. He leaned closer when you heard someone cough. You pulled away to see Yuffie with her hands on her hips. "Axel!!" She scolded. "Way to ruin a moment Yuff." Axel grumbled. "Let go of [Name]!" Yuffie said. Axel scoffed and pulled you closer, if that was even possible. "Make me." He challenged. Yuffie turned to face the front of the ship and yelled, "Cloud!!" Axel's eyes widened, "Don’t tell Cloud! He'll murder me!" Yuffie nodded and smirked, "I know!" You giggled as Axel set you down in the seat next to him. "Happy?" He asked and Yuffie nodded walking away. As soon as she turned her back Axel leaned over and kissed you on the cheek. "Axel!" You whispered yelled blushing. That made him smirk more.You saw a seat next to Zexion and slid into it. "Hey Zexion!" You said. He closed his book and looked at you, smiling slightly, "Hello [Name]." You leaned over to look at the book he had, "What are you reading this time?" He held it up so you could see. It was an old blue book that was worn down and aged. There was no title on the front. "What is it?" You asked. He smiled at your curiosity, "It is a collection of true stories about the past of Hollow Bastion and other worlds." You nodded, "Is it good?" He chuckled, "So far, yes it is." You smiled, "Read me a story from the book. Please?" You put your hands together pretending to beg. He chuckled, "Alright." As he opened the book you leaned your head on his shoulder he glanced at you briefly before starting to read, "The heartless..."

You ran off the ship with Yuffie, Xion, and Namine. It was so beautiful there. The sun was shining brightly and you could smell the ocean breeze as it gently caressed your cheek. "Whoa! This is amazing!" Xion said and you agreed."Hey you girls wanna help?" Zack said while carrying a cooler and large beach umbrella, all the guys were carrying stuff out of the ship. You took a step forward to help when Yuffie pulled you back. "Nope! See ya on the beach guys!" Xion dragged Namine while Yuffie dragged you towards the beach area. The beach was breathtaking, and pristine. The water was a clear calm blue that matched the perfect blue sky. The sand was a clean white color and completely garbage free. "Come on let's change!" Xion said leading the way towards the changing room.You stepped out of the changing room wearing yellow bikini bottoms and a yellow bikini top with a large thin white undershirt over it. Everyone had unpacked their stuff on the beach, there were beach chairs, coolers and all those good beach things. "Hey [Name]!" You looked to see who called your name.

Zack was waving you over by the water's edge. You jogged over towards him and he embraced you in a big huge picking you off the ground. "Zack!" You yelled while laughing. He chuckled and set you down. "What? I couldn’t help myself! You're just too darn cute." He winked at you and your face heated up. "Thanks.." You said smiling. He smiled at you then nudged your arm. "Come on let's swim!" He said. You started to say no when he ripped his shirt off throwing it onto the sand behind him.Your felt your face heat up again and attempted to keep your gaze off his well toned chest, "W-Well I d-don’t know-" Zack lifted you off the ground bridal style and ran into the water. You were yelling and laughing the entire time. He ran about mid way into the water where the water went to his chest, you held his neck tightly. "Hey Hey Hey [Name]. Don’t strangle me." He chuckled. You released his neck a little, "Sorry." He smiled and held you closer, "Relax, Have fun. I wont let anything hurt you." You smiled, Zack leaned his forehead against yours. "Hey Lunch Time!!" Tifa called from the shore. Zack and you both looked to Tifa. "Alright be there in a sec!" You called and Zack groaned. "Every single time I get to be alone with you someone interrupts it!" You giggled at his slight frustration and hit him lightly in the chest, "Come on Puppy! I’m hungry!" He looked at you and sighed with a smile, "Fine." He carried you back to the shore.Terra had his hand cupped around his mouth and was calling your name, you walked over towards where he was. Terra was standing a little down the shoreline. He smiled at you when you reached him. "Wanna go for a walk?" He asked. You nodded, "Yeah that'd be cool." He smiled and laced his fingers with yours and pulled you along, "Come on then." You both walked along the shoreline for a little while talking about nothing in particular. When you both couldn't see the others and where they were you both decided to turn around and start walking back. "This is great ya know." Terra said and you giggled and bumped him slightly with your shoulder, "Yeah I know Rai." Terra blushed a little and chuckled," Ok Ok, I’m serious though. You, Me, the beach. Together. No Cloud, No Tifa, No Zack or any other of your admirers." You nodded and leaned your head on his shoulder. "Yeah..." You whispered. "I could go on like this forever you know that [Name]?" He said and stopped, you looked up at him. "Hey! It’s time to eat!" Cloud yelled in the distance from where you guys had unpacked your stuff. "Coming!" You yelled back. Terra sighed but smiled and stood in front off you. "Jump on." He said and you smirked, "Are ya sure..." He chuckled and patted his back again. You jumped on happily and Terra started to run back to the others.Sora was waving frantically from a spot in the sand, you skipped towards him and sat down next to him in the sand. "Hey Sora!" You said happily. He offered you a shovel and bucket, "Wanna make a sand castle with me?" He asked and you giggled taking the bucket and shovel."I'd love to." You said and his face lit up with those simple words. You both began to work on the sand castle. You both took turns getting water from the ocean and using it to make the sand stick together and the final outcome... Not very good. It was a pretty sorry excuse for a sand castle, heck it wasn't even really a sand castle, more like a sad lump of sand. "Aw man! Its horrible!" Sora yelled and you laughed at his sad face. "Its not funny! Look at it [Name]!" The sand castle was falling apart on one side and the small stick you put on the top was leaning to the left. While you were both staring at it, it completely collapsed. You both looked at each other then burst out laughing. All that time spent on a pile of sand. "Wow, maybe we should've just went swimming instead." Sora said scratching his head. You shook your head, "No, I had fun Sora." Sora smiled. "Hey time to eat!!" Tifa yelled and you both got up brushing yourselves off."Hey [Name]!" Roxas called your name from under a multi colored beach umbrella. You walked over and sat beside him. "Hey Roxas." You said. He smiled at you. "What are you doing?" You asked. He shrugged and leaned back on his elbows, "Just watching the waves." You nodded and spotted the wheel sticking out of Roxas's black bag. You grabbed his skateboard and jumped up, "Come on!" You ran towards the parking lot and dropped the skateboard. Roxas ran after you, "[Name]!" He looked at you as you stood by the board smiling. "Do you even have your helmet and stuff?" He asked you shook your head no. Roxas sighed and walked over to you. He helped you onto the board. Roxas began to show you the basics and whenever you were moving on the board he'd be behind you holding onto your waist. "Roxas! [Name]!" Tifa called, "It’s time to eat!" You smiled and bopped off the board giving Roxas a hug. "Thanks Roxas." He blushed and smiled, "No problem."Angeal was standing in ankle deep water, waving for you to come over. You took off your shoes and walked towards him. You gently walked into the water to stand next to him. "Hey." He said. "Hi." You answered smiling. "What’s up?" You asked him. "Nothing just enjoying the view." He responded. You looked out over the ocean. It really was a perfect day. The sun was bright, the water was clear, there were a few pure white clouds scattered across the sky. You breathed in deep smelling the crisp ocean scent. You sighed out and leaned on Angeal's arm. "Its so beautiful here." You said. "Its even better now that you're here." Angeal replied. You smiled up at him. "Angeal! [Name]!" Cloud yelled. "Time to eat!"

You walked towards the rest of the group. Cloud and Leon were arguing lightly over the grill. You giggled and walked over towards Reno, Axel, Ven and Sora who were sitting at a bench whispering to each other. You stood in front of them."Gossiping are we?" You giggled. The guys looked at you and smiled and greeted you. You sat between Reno and Ven with Axel and Sora across from you. "We're saving everybody!" Sora said happily. "What's wrong with everybody?" you asked worriedly. Axel pointed over his shoulder as Ven responded, "Cloud and Leon are trying to cook that’s what's wrong." You laughed, "Are they really that bad at cooking?" Ven said, "Yes." at the same time Sora responded, "No." They looked at each other then back to you. "Leon's not THAT bad, I mean he isn’t great either though." Sora said."Cloud sucks. He has to be the worst cook of all time. I swear if Tifa hadn't had moved in with us we would've died of starvation. The guy can burn water." Ven said with a raised eyebrow. You laughed. "And there's a new restaurant open that we wanna go to yo." Reno said smiling. Axel smirked, "So we plan to do this", He snapped his finger and the flame rose high on the grill distracting Leon and Cloud from their argument to turn and try to turn down the grill with no avail, "So we can go here."He handed you a sheet of paper, on it was a large building separated into different sections on the top was the words in a fancy font and on the bottom was the address. "Got it memorized?" Axel asked when you looked up from the paper. You opened your mouth to say something when Cloud cut you off. "Hey everybody come here we got a small problem." Axel smirked before getting up and walking towards Cloud, the rest of you followed. Cloud scratched the back of his head, "Well I hate to say this but Leon and I burned the food.." Tifa sighed, "Cloud that's all we brought!" Cloud turned and snapped at her, "Look I’m sorry ok!"Leon stepped in front as Cloud and Tifa started to argue with each other quietly. "So anybody got any suggestions?" Leon asked. Sora nudged you and stepped forward happily with a piece of paper in his hand. He was about to say something when Reno snatched the paper from him, then Axel snatched it from him. "How about here Leon ol' pal?" Axel said smoothly handing him the paper. Leon looked it over as Sora stood beside you crestfallen. "It's nice." Leon said Axel's smirk grew. Leon threw the paper back at him, "Too nice. Who's gonna pay for it Axel?" Axel's smirk fell and you giggled."I will." Auron said looking over the paper that had fallen onto the beach. "You don’t have to-" Leon started but Auron cut him off, "I want to." It was quiet for a moment except for Cloud and Tifa's arguing voices when Sora broke the silence. He pumped his fist in the air. "Alright let's go!" Everyone laughed and started to walk down the street together. You were about to follow when you turned to see Cloud and Tifa arguing not too far away. "Don’t worry. They do this all the time." Roxas said from behind you. "Go catch up with the others I'll wait here for them." You turned around, "Are you sure?" Roxas nodded, "Don’t worry go." You smiled and nodded then turned to run after the group.
