Leif didn't know what took hold of him because he actually asked, "Have you done it before?"
Quinn, "..."
"That is a personal question unless you want us to revise the contract," she said and Leif suddenly felt a little annoyed with himself.
What would possess him to ask something like that? The fact that she didn't answer his question also made him feel some type of way.
Quinn opened the door with a piece of tissue paper on the door handle. When she opened the door she found that fireman Joe was done with his performance and now there was officer Shane entertaining her mother and aunties.
They kept stuffing the fifties and tens in his pants while he writhed his waist and thrust his hips fluidly like he didn't have any bones.
Quinn who never thought for a second that a man could move like that was a little fascinated. She wanted to stuff that fifty in there too thus she took a step forward only for her arm to be grabbed and her eyes shielded by a hand wafting a berry scent from the hand soap.
Quinn shifted her head to the side to see but Leif's big palm followed her. Something flashed in Leif's eyes as he stared at that man gyrating jovially for the ladies. He couldn't fathom what was so interesting that they glued their eyes on him. Is this what women like?
"I want to see," she complained while trying to move to the side.
When the performance ended the man only had a pair of underwear left on with money stuffed into his junk. Now you can fully grip why he didn't like cash. Who knows if it had rubbed against another man's sweaty balls?
"Mother in law, I will be taking Quinn with me," he said while trying to stop Quinn from looking.
Amalie calmed down considerably and said, "Okay, you two drive safely. Quinn call me if you need anything."
Having gotten his future mother in law's permission Leif dragged her out while she voiced her complaints. "Can't I stay a little longer? I heard that the next act is by cowboy mike. It's my bachelorette party," she said but Leif wouldn't allow it.
"You can say goodbye. We have things to discuss," he said but he just wanted her to stay away from the strippers.
He let her arm go and she walked over to her aunties. "Thank you for an amazing party, I am so happy," she said as she hugged them one by one.
"Thanks, mum. I will see you tomorrow," she said and Amalie hugged her tightly with tears at the corner of her eyes.
"I love you QQ. If he bullies you call me, okay? I will come and get you," she whispered that only the two of them could hear.
Quinn suddenly felt very emotional. She pursed her lips suppressing the tears that were about to flow. "I will. I promise," she said and Amalie let her go.
After saying her goodbyes she left with Leif. Because of what her mother said she was a little silent all the way making Leif misunderstand that she was upset that her fun was cut off early.
The bodyguards dared not say anything as they carried the red gift bags to the car. Since these gifts belong to her she didn't want to trouble her mother by letting her carry them back to her house.
When they entered the car Leif felt like he need to say something but he wasn't comfortable saying it in front of the driver thus he instructed him to give them a minute.
When the door closed he glanced at the silent Quinn and finally asked, "Do you really want to go back?"
Quinn who was lost in thought raised her head and stared at him for a while as though not understanding what he was asking.
"Go back where?" she asked a little puzzled.
Leif tapped his thigh with his finger but didn't answer immediately. He rubbed the back of his neck and cleared his throat before saying, "The nightclub"
Quinn finally understood what he meant. She shook her head and looked out the window distractedly.
Leif wanted to ask, "Why she was quiet then," but in the end, he didn't ask.
He knocked on the window lightly and the driver returned to the car. "Go to the east side apartment," he said and the driver nodded his head.
The car pulled into traffic but the two people at the back didn't speak to each other. Quinn who was always the talkative one was silent which Leif wasn't accustomed to.
When they reached the apartment building Leif said, "We are here," but Quinn didn't respond.
He called out again, "Quinn," while turning his upper body toward her. It was then he realised that she was fast asleep.
He reached out subconsciously intending to wake her up but he stopped himself. It seemed when she was drunk she would sleep and not cause trouble.
Well, the last time he helped her out of the school when she was drunk she slept on his back without making a sound. Because he didn't know where she lived and didn't know where her cell phone was he brought her to his house.
It was when he placed her on his bed that he hugged him tightly and called out Mumu before kissing his lips.
This time he was smarter. He was going to let someone else carry her thus he motioned for one of the strong looking bodyguards to help carry her upstairs.
He got out of the car and entered the elevator but when he turned his head back and saw the scene of Quinn being carried by someone other than himself he suddenly felt very irritable.
He impulsively walked back and said, "Give her to me."
The bodyguard didn't dare disobey. They were all aware of their boss' cleanliness habits so this undoubtedly surprised them. Last time he let Miss Feral fall to the ground and ordered one of them to send her home.
