Chapter Seven
After dressing up, Xing sat down thinking of the best plan to escape Lin Xiu. A maiden walks in with some clothes in her hands.
"My lord, Her highness said you should wear this cloth for her birthday banquet!"The Maiden said.
Xing smiled mischievously as he cleared his throat to gain her attention.
She looks up to meet an unfamiliar face and drops the clothes on the Floor.
"An assassin? Someone Hel..." She tried Alerting everyone but was struck on the neck causing her to faint.
"Am sorry miss, I have to leave here soon or that bird will hold me hostage!" He said dragging the maiden and swapping their clothes.
"Whoaaa, I look beautiful as a lady, all I have to do is find out where I am and my way back!"Xing praised himself but then his eyes scanned the maiden dressed in a man cloth laying unconscious on Lin Xiu mattress.
"Miss, I'll make it up to you next time we meet"Xing muttered as he picked up a tray with tea and tried walking out of Lin Xiu room but was pushed back by the barrier set by Lin Xiu to avoid Chao Xing escaping and being noticed.
"Ahhh, why can't I leave this damn room, if the maid can come in why can't I?" Xing growled in frustration as he layed his back on the barrier knowing he won't fall out.
As he sat down fustrated he noticed a shiny silver pebble. "Whats that?"Chao Xing looked at it confused and picked it up.
This time when he relaxed on the barrier it was not there but his butt outside the barrier.
"So it seems one must have this to escape that bird trap, well of I go"Xing chuckled as he roamed around the heavenly kingdom.
"Hey!!!! What are you wandering around for huh?" The Head Maid yelled after noticing Xing behavior.
"Me??"Xing pointed at his face.
"Wait a moment I've never seen you before,"The Head Maid suspiciously looked at Xing. "Peharps you don't recall my face,I've been working here for a while now and am sure you might have forget a lowly servant like me!" Xing said pitifully
"Am the Head Maid of The Four realms, I know everyone of my servants in each realm but your face is one I don't recall seeing!"
'Four realms??What is she talking about?' "Master Lin Xiu actually brought me as his personal Maiden,I'm good at wine so he brought me to teach me more on the Art of wine as My Lord picked interest in me. Xing fluently Lied. I came to get some important things to make a wine matching his taste"
"Master Lin Xiu??? Well if he brought you then who am I to question his decision, Master Lin Xiu is the best in wine making and is known for his honey wine. You may go to the Heavenly Hall".
"The Head Maiden walked moved aside and letting Xing walk further into the glorious hall".
Xing ran fast but caught the attention of many because of his beauty as a woman.
"A beauty in heaven??I must have her!" Lord of snakes said as he drooled at Xing.
'Why are they staring at me?do I look weird?well these clothes does seem weird. Focus on the mission.' Xing said inwardly
After climbing a million stairs, Xing finally saw the grand hall.
It was designed in white and red, everyone kept rushing in and out of the hall. "Hey get me some phoenix balloon,My lady banquet most be extravagant and no mistakes shall me made". Nian instructed feeling proud of the job given to her by the heavenly princess.
Xing saw another maid left the hall to get the balloons but was dumb struck by the sudden return.
"Tskk, it took me hours to climb the stairs,how would that maid get the Phoenix balloon in a go" He said as he eyed Nian.
In less than a minute, the maiden came with the balloon leaving Xing awed by it.
"Who are these people??"Xing questioned
Lin Xiu came out of his chamber to attend to the headache he had so far.
Looking around he sighted Chao Xing on the bed sleeping. "He's sleeping??"Lin walked further and further but then a grown formed on his face.
"He managed to escape from my grasp,"
The maid woked up dizzy and got up. Recalling the event she looked at her body and saw her cloth had been swapped then her gaze averted to Lin Xiu angry face.
"My lord am sorry, I didn't mean to lay at your bed,it was because of a young man I came across in your room,My Lord show mercy." The maiden bowed several times while crying
"You may go" Lin Xiu said with his hands on his waist.
Closing his eyes he tried to sense Chao Xing presence as he might be the only one that's different from them all.
He saw Xing mumbling and staring at Nian with interest, Xing then walked over to Nian and greets her by kissing her knuckles.
Lin Xiu chuckle as he subconsciously saw the cheeky behaviour of Xing towards Nian.
"Here he is telling me am flirting with him but he's got his eye on Qing Yang Maiden.
It seems his death seeks him now" Lin Xiu laughed as he disappeared to the grand hall.
"My lady has done such beautiful work that am marveled, I can't help but want to praise you!" Xing kissed Nian knuckle as he liked Nian at first glimpse.
Nian cheek turned red as she straighten up.
"Of course my lady trust me as my talent is superb!" Nian boosted proudly
Everyone stared at the Xing weirdly,it was odd for a lady to act manly to a woman not to talk about kissing her knuckles.
Lin appeared and smiled with a sinister smile as his eyes roams around in search of a nasty man.
Xing however sights Lin Xiu and runs away before Lin Xiu could see him.
"My lady I've come to help around with the chores and make a wine matching her grace taste" Xing said
'If I can't go out now, perhaps once the banquet starts then I'll escape soon' Xing said inwardly
Two Moon Nights Later
"Your highness is dressing up for her banquet tonight, so I'm in charge of the guest today!" Nian said to Xing
Qing Fang was looking the most. beautiful with her red hanfu gown. It was made of the silkiest wool and finest material. Xing came in to serve Qing fng some tea as per Nian instructions.
"My lady the tea is ready," Xing called out loud.
As he turned around after a while of waiting, he spilled the tea on Qing Yang gorgeous dress.
Qing Yang looked slowly at the gown that has been ruined and boiled with anger.
She uses her magic and conjures fire vines and ties around Xing body.
'Painful,it's very painful than Lin Xiu flames' Xing cried inwardly as the vines tightened it's movement as Xing tried to loosen it.
"My lady amm so sorryy" Xing stuttered while apologizing but Yang didn't pay hid.
