Luke's family

  They both were walking slowly on the sand .After few minutes Luke took both of Zella's hand and said,

Luke: "Hm, tell me the truth, you are upset aren't you"

Zella: "No, I'm not upset.I'm fine .     (hiding her emotions)

Luke: "You was upset and you even don't know where you was?"

Zella: "Okay, I'm not alright."  (Zella try to wipe her tears so Luke might not notice them. But Luke know that.

   Zella turn around beacause she can no longer stop tears from falling. Suddenly Luke took her hands then pulled her close and hugged her. Zella gets emotional and burst into tears. Luke know now he can't stop the tears from falling. After that they both sat down on the stairs near the beach. Zella was still sobbing while laying her head on Luke's shoulder.

Luke: "Zella! You miss your parents, don't you.".                      Zella lifting her head off from his shoulder wipping her tears.

Zella: "Um, yes I miss them a lot."

Luke: "(sighed) I...miss my mom too."

Zella: "What, you lost your mother too?"

Luke: " Um, both of them."

Zella: "What?"

Luke: "My mom was a single parent, my dad left her for some other women.

Zella: "I'm sorry Luke ."

Luke: "I ...I was then given for an adoption and I was adopted by a kind man and his aged - mother.

Zella: " My Aunt adopt me when I was 6 months.

Luke: "Hmm, no doubt he raised me like his own child but one day when I returned home from the school with my trophy, I then got to know that  he is admitted to hospital because he had cancer and he is on the last stage."   (sorrowfully)

       Zella then hugged him to make him feel better.

Luke: " after he was gone I was heart broken. It feels like I lost my parents again."

Zella: "What about his mom?"

Luke: " Then I was raised by her, but now she is also admitted to hospital for her heart operation."

Zella: "Look Luke she'll be fine."

Luke: "Hope so, Zella you're lucky that you have even seen your parents even though you spend six months with them and you also have your beloved Aunt."

Zella: "Yeah! You're right,therefore I'm lucky."

Luke: "He usually take me to the the beach when he is upset and share his problem with me. I mostly come here when I am upset."

Zella: "He sound like a nice man."

Luke: "Yes, indeed he was."

       Luke drop Zella home and advised her not to go on a walk alone when she's upset. When Zella was about to leave, Luke asked her for the dinner tomorrow night. Zella couldn't say no , so she agreed.            Zella walked into the house hoping aunt still asleep and luckily her aunt was sleeping. It was 1 o'clock when she reach home. Zella got to her room and lay down on her bed.First thing she do before sleeping was charging her phone and message Olivia. Olivia called her instead of replying messages when she noticed Zella is online.

Olivia: "Zella! I came there but you were gone."

Zella: "Olivia, I waited there for almost half an hour!"

Olivia:" Oh,sorry Zella, Eddie was on his work and when he came back from working, I told him that I had to pick you up."

Zella: Okay! Now I'm home safely."

Olivia: Safely? means."

Zella: "Hmm,I tell you in school."

Olivia: "I can't wait that long."

Zella: "Right now I have to sleep,bye.                                        (Then Zella switched off the phone)
