Chapter 1

I was still looking at the man with a spiky nose who was asleep beside me. The man who just yesterday made a holy promise in front of my father and mother. Asking me to be his life partner shared in joy and sorrow, friends took care of each other and loved each other. A friend who will faithfully guide me to the end of my life and a friend who will be together towards his janah. Yes, he is Bagas. The man I dated for almost eight years. It wasn't a short time for us to get to know each other, which must have been enough time for us to learn about each other's characters until we decided to move on to the game. Understandably, for a woman like me who has turned 30 is no longer the time to play around in love. I need a serious man to be my priest and the father of my children. Especially about finances, Bagas is more for me. He is a foreman of perhutani, even though his face is not as white as a Korean artist, but the able-bodied man has a very soft personality. Never once during his time of dating did he scold me or anything like that. He was so patient with my childish nature and so spoiled. As an only child, my mom and dad were very spoiled. Eventually, that trait carried over until I was an adult.

I don't want to rush into marriage as my friends do. They choose to marry at a young age without maturity, in the end, their household must run aground in the middle of the road. That's something I don't want at all. Because living in the household is not only the capital of love. All aspects must support each other, ranging from financial, affection, and mutual understanding. If one of them does not complete, then the household is like a human being who walks with limp feet and must be ready to fall.

"Mas!" I said softly, I continued to comb the burly jaws of the man who was purring smoothly beside me, hoping that the man would soon wake up from his dream.

"Hem!" Bagas just tightened, the hand that had been wrapped around my waist was now getting tighter.

"Let's wake up! "It's dawn," I said. It looks like this guy was so exhausted with our game last night. The long night we had was so beautiful. The night we've been looking forward to for eight years. Broken already red blood that still imprinted on the bedsheets of lavender flowers that wrap on my bed mattress.

"What time is it, honey?" he asked in a lazy voice, his eyes still closing as if they felt heavy to open.

"4 o'clock, honey!" I said, now I prefer to play the fine fur on the naked man's chest. Up and down, up and down, so that Bagas feels dark and immediately gets up, I thought.

"Hem!" Those stocky arms pulled out my hands that continued to caress his chest, his eyes round looking at me excitedly. A sweet smile from the lips that last night had peppered me.

"Wake up, honey!" exclaimed in a high tone, I deliberately put on a slightly irritated face so that my blush face was invisible to him. It feels so embarrassing, like a high school boy who has just been dating, my brain seems to lose consciousness, it's easy to see when the tall man with sweet black skin teases me or points his attention to me.

"Hem, I think I want to go!" he said as he buried his face back on the pillow.

"Oh, let's wake up!" I pinched Bagas' waist by putting on my spoiled face, making the man snag. While I continued to laugh at the behavior of Bagas who was in pain. Not waiting long, the man caught my tiny body and showered me with kisses all over my face. I kept laughing, that happiness I couldn't hide. A woman's luck is when she finds a husband who can sing her wholeheartedly and my lucky is Bagas.

After we prayed dawn together, Bagas immediately put on his work uniform. The uniform is green, with boots complete with a hat. While I was still busy applying pineapple-flavored bread jam on the bread that was on the table. The man had now sat in front of me, looking at me who was sprinkled coffee for him with a tearful look. His face rested on both palms that he rested on the table.

"Honey!" he said.

"What the hell baby!" he said, now the teary look was added with a smiley review from his lips. Makes it look as sweet as sugar. out...!

"Don't look at me rich!" I said as I covered my face with both palms in shame.

"Ih, why is that?" Now the man lowered his hand and folded it on the table.

"I'm ashamed of you!" Sure enough, my face must look flushed like a boiled shrimp now.

The man went down the bench, stepped foot towards me who was busy stirring coffee for him.

"Why should you be ashamed to try? We're halal, baby!" The man hugged my body from behind and wrapped his stocky arms around my slender waist. That teary face was now on my shoulders, taking a sip of the scent of the fragrance from my still wet hair.

"Shame on me! Rich young adult," I said as I stirred coffee that released a puff of smoke into the air. The aroma of coffee is thick that is able gives a sense of comfort when I visit it. It's the same when Bagas is hugging me like this.

"Are you still a young adult! My young adult!" The man chuckled while pinching my little nose. It made me wince with the pain but was also happy because of his treatment.

Finished our breakfast Bagas fresh spur motor trial. Not forgetting I kissed the back of his hand first before Bagas left, and Bagas again showered me with a full kiss on my face. It kept me closed, afraid of the fine fur on her mustache hitting my skin.

Working with steep terrain makes Bagas have to ride the trail bike. Almost every day he had to control the state of the forest. Because of the higher rate of wood theft in my area, almost all of the time is used to comb the forest that is increasingly deforested by naughty hands.

I still kept staring at the man riding the trail bike who had now disappeared at the end of the road. Then, immediately I rushed into the house to hunt downtime because I also had to rush to work.

I immediately put all my needs in a rangsel bag that was on my desk along with a laptop containing the value data of my students. I was a junior high school teacher but had already entered as a civil servant. Just a year ago I was appointed as a civil servant. For almost 7 years I served as an auxiliary teacher until finally my dream of getting benefits in old age was achieved. My determination is unanimous, if I had not been appointed as a civil servant then I would not have married. That was the reason I was until my age stepping on the head of three I just married Bagas. And what makes me even luckier is Bagas who patiently waits for me until this moment we become one.

I'm still sorting out the documents strewn across the table, understandably almost a week I've been on leave for work because I'm busy preparing for a happy day that I'll do only once in my life. I found Bagas' cell phone tucked into a pile of exam papers that I was going to share today with my students. Maybe so rushed the man to forget the most important thing both after this me.

The flat object that was only given a vibrating tone continued to flicker. An unnamed number came in on the phone call. I was still waiting a few seconds for the flat thing to stop blinking. It felt too presumptuous if I had to make that call. I don't want to be labeled as a wife who doesn't give her husband freedom. As long as all that is still a reasonable limit, and I believe Bagas holds it because Bagas is a loyal man.

"17 unanswered calls." Write on that flat object screen, with the same number.

In my mind, who owns that number? But I'm just trying to think. Because prejudice will only make me more frightened. But my little heart remains turbulent, if indeed it is from the work of Bagas there is no way he made that many calls. But if it's from Bagas' family why the box has no name, my heart just keeps guessing something bad about Bagas.

"I'm sorry, honey!" I'm still biting my lower lip. I gently wiped Bagas' phone screen. Hoping to find the answer to the puzzle that continues to envelop my heart.

"Enter a password."

Write the screen, make me lumber saliva then snort in annoyance.
