Initially the doctor was not willing to tell me but later he told that she had meningioma recurrence. I was so shocked that I lost my control. I get out of that suffocating room. I cannot believe what I heard actually.
I didn't know what to say to him, but I saw him outside of the doctor's room. We both didn't speak anything with each other.
He went up to the doctor and asked, "She will be fine, right? She has to be fine. The doctor said, "She doesn't have much time to live. She knew that she had brain tumor but she didn't take chemotherapy or did anything. We cannot do anything."
He looked at him with the anger and such hatred that I have never seen in him. He asked for her report and he gave him. He asked every best neurologist and neurosurgeon, oncologist in the world about her disease but everyone gave him the same answer. That time was the toughest time of his life.
Not having her in his life was not that painful for him than not having her in this world. He had that unbearable pain inside which he cannot show outside or even share to anyone even with me. It was not an easy thing, how can he share the pain of his lover like he is some shameless man?
The only person he shared his feelings was his sister, your aunt Bella. She later got married with Destiny's brother, the brother that I mentioned before, Liam. Bella and Destiny were good friends. She used to visit Destiny every time she visit her brother. She was also my good friend.
Since they were doctors Liam and Bella, they took care of her. Your father couldn't leave her alone but still he couldn't appear in front of her as if nothing has changed since everything has changed for them in those seven years.
The most challenging thing was that she had forgotten everything or she was trying to avoid being burden to us, we don't know. But doctor had told that, that is common symptoms in brain tumor, the memory issues, and many more.

But there was benefit of that too. If she really remembered him, she would try her every effort to run away from him. Since she didn't have memory of him, she was open and yeah they had normal conversation and friendship before she left this world. I think he spent a bit of time with her which soothes his guilt and regret abit and he could go on with his life easily with those memories.
About four months after, she died. It hit him so hard. Initially, he spent his days playing with you. He only talked with you and he avoided every other person except you. But after few months, he started showing signs of depressions.
It was like he was there but still he was not there. Nothing could caught his attentions, the situation was so dire. One day he thought of going to visit Destiny's place. He knew the password of her door. While he opened the door, he saw a baby girl with Aunt Beatrice. All people tried to hide the fact that she was Destiny's daughter from him. He knew that her sister was never pregnant so whose child is that. Aunt Beatrice was scared how she will hide the fact that the baby was Destiny's.
He asked her whose baby was that, she lied. He accepted what she told without doubting. The baby was crying but when he hold her, she stopped crying, he told me that later that night. That was the night he talked with me after long time. I felt like he was talking with me after years. He talked quite a lot about that child, like how she hold his fingers and never let it go. He said the baby has beautiful blue eyes and she smiled so beautifully.
He went there the next day taking you with him. You were two and half years old and the baby was about 8 or 9 months. Now he was not the only one who liked the baby but you also liked playing with the baby. You started making fuss saying you want to go see the baby and play with her.
