Meeting II
ON THE WAY TO THE ROYAL PALACE
*Sigh
Right now the Alexanda family were heading to the royal palace.The Alexanda family rode two carriages,the children stayed in one carriage while the parents stayed in the other carriage.
The sky was grey,promising rain,the breeze was chilly;Stelen stared out of the window,mentally begging that the rain will fall earlier.He had taken a light coat ignoring his mom who had instructed him to take a thick one.
He always loved the chilly weather and the rain.He never seemed to understand why people liked summer and wear too much coats during the winter,now and in his other life.

IN THE ROYAL PALACE
THE BALLROOM
Stelen and Albert were engaged in a heated argument about an action book, sometimes when Stelen took time to think he realized how much he had changed;never in his life would he had thought he would find reading books interesting_talk more about arguing strongly about one.
'Mika is far stronger '
'Yuu is stronger,do you know how many fights he have won??!'
'Mika is stronger, you have to check the circumstances,at that time Mika was not a complete vampire because he had not drank blood so ofcourse he was weak and Yuu is the MC so he has plot armour'
'Whatever'they both said though it was obvious that they really cared
They then picked up another topic to bisect and dissect;it was when Lucas had come to ask Albert for a dance that they realized how much time had passed.As they strolled to the dance floor, Stelen moved to the balcony seeking solitude,the doors to the balcony was not open and the ballroom was warm,so when he open it he was shocked to be hit by cold,biting wind.
He went to the rail and placed his hands on it and looked up:It was such a nice view,the green lands,the everyday interaction of nature and humans;you could really see the whole city from here.
*Haaah
'Beautiful right?'
Stelen's head snapped back so fast that his neck made a sound
So he wasn't alone afterall
'I didn't mean to startle you...'
Stelen eyed his sudden companion,he had pretty,long silver hair and light blue eyes that was very eye-catching .His hair was tied into a high ponytail revealing his clear forehead
'You already did.No need to apologize'
'Good point' his companion grinned
His companion moved towards him and stood beside him woth one hand on the rail.
They stayed like this,in silence for more five minutes in the wind before Stelen's teeth started chattering.His companion smiled and removed the coat that he wore and put it on his(Stelen) shoulders.
'Thank you...'
'You're welcome'
ANOTHER FIVE MINUTES
Stelen decided it was time to go inside,he turned to give his companion back his coat,but he just smiled and said:
'You can keep it'
'Are you sure-it-it looks very--'
'You can keep it'
'Thank you then'he said and turned to go
'Wait,what's your name?'
It was then Stelen's turn to grin:
'Even if I tell you, you won't remember'
'I'm not a forgetful person'
'I'll tell you my name when we meet again and if you remember me'
He said and walked off.
'It's a promise then'his companion whispered to himself.
...
Stelen thought about his little companion all the way to the manor; perhaps he could have told him(his companion)his name(Stelen).
*Sigh
...
'Brother!!!'Albert howled from his room
'Yes!!What is it Albert?'Stelen dashed through the hallway almost falling
They had just entered the house after the tedious journey from the palace
Stelen had taken his bath and had dressed for the night when he heard Albert screaming
'Brother I can't find my glasses'
*Sigh'Where did you use it last?'
Stelen asked as he massaged his temple
'The library'
The library was far from the main house,it was an entirely separate building on its own.
'Have you checked there?'
'No'
'Then go check there'
'I can't go alone,I will be too scared'
As the library was very far from the main house and there was no secret passage to the library if you wanted to visit the library in the night you had to use the front or back door and trek a considerable distance.
'Then you can go tomorrow.*Yawn
I'm going to bed*Yawn'
'I can't wait till tomorrow I have a book I need to read.Can't you accompany me to the library~?'
'See you in the morning~~'
'Brother!!'
'Fine, let's go'

They finally found and retrieved the glasses from the library
Albert:'Race you to the house'he said and dashed off.Stelen yawned and dragged his feet,he was so sleepy
This was the most boring birthday ever

Stelen opened the front door,everywhere was dark, probably everyone had gone to sleep
*Yawn
*Pa pa🎊
'Happy birthday!!!'
Stelen stood in the doorway,mouth open.
'Happy birthday to you~~
Happy birthday to you~~
Happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday to you!'

Everybody give him hugs in turn:his dad,his mom,Albert,Cara even Mary;their seamstress and handed him gifts
His father bought him a new sword,his mom got him a donkey(for painting),Albert give him his favorite book,Mary took her time to make him a new suit designed with jewels,while Cara give a handmade sweater and coat
'I take it back, this is one of my most exciting birthdays'Stelen thought
