Chapter XI: A New Beginning

After the siege, Kazue was known as the demon king, but after a few months it changed to demon god. Two years passed since the siege. Demons evolved. They actually came to peace with the humans. Angels also showed up because of Kazue, so there was a tension between them and the demons. The way of turning into demon or angel was just for your shadow to absorb you, or your shadow to go away.

Kazue, a god would watch for major things. Surprisingly, they made it to his version of normal. There were cities, cars, energy, etc. this was because a little of his mental stability made it into others, so they learned this. It was nice. Everyone still knew magic, so they were further advanced. Kazue still had his main quest. Looking for death. He had a idea of what he might need, but it sounded crazy. He needed one of his eyes. Death goes everywhere and sees everywhere. So his eye would make sense.

Kazue stood there. Sometimes he would alternate between his human and demon forms but never his true one. It looked A little too crazy when compared to other demons. He needed to find death. He had learned a few things. There is this realm, the demon realm, the divine realm, and the dead realm. He belonged to the divine realm but it was only if he knew how to go though realms.

He did live in the woods in a cabin. It was normal but eventually he would have to go out and go back. He had to get revenge and Ezra was waiting. In two years Kazue did everything for his system. He learned every skill and leveled them up to the max. Eventually he ran out of food.

He lived near midburry. There were a lot of people that were suffering due to the church so basically he was a hero. There was even a statue where the castle ruins stood. The castle ruins are still there and Kazue visits it often. He went to a noodle shop and got a bowl. He walked down and he heard a gunshot. This reminded Kazue too much of his death. He looked and saw a man using a spell that shot metal, making it a magic gun. He walked towards the shooter.

The shooter looked at him and thought he was a scrawny kid. He was readying the spell again and pointed it towards Kazue "Move before you die kid!" The shooter said calmly. "Stop before I kill you on the street your standing on." Kazue said in a serious tone. The shooter eventually fired at him. He didn't take damage. He took his disguise off and was in his secondary form. Everyone referenced him from the statue and knew it was him.

"Try Again. I dare you." Kazue said. The shooter, seeing him, was scared. He knew he would die in a second if he fought. He ran, but Kazue caught him and broke his hands permanently. "No hands, no magic" Kazue said. After that, he felt something. It was cold. He looked and saw death. It was what you'd expect. Skeleton in a black gown with a scythe. He looked at him and asked for a eye.

"To make a looking glass is not a easy task. You must have the dust of stars in the sky and one of deaths very own eyes. To find the world you seek make the configuration that only you can see" Death said as he gave 2 of his eyes. He had left but the guy who was shot died. He left and went into his human form. He Figured it out. Stardust for glass and use the eye to make it see everything, configuration to make it go where you want it to.

"How am I supposed to go to space? They haven't advanced to that point" Kazue thought. Then he thought about something "Star Dragons. They breath stardust. It looks like my adventures aren't over huh." Kazue smiled. He went on a search in the night. They stay at constellations so he looked for one and saw Orion. He ran there in about 1 second when it was 400 miles away. He saw it and woke it up.

It got up, angry at Kazue for waking it up it started breathing stardust. He took all the stardust he could grab and ran. In all he got 3 pounds of stardust. He slept and took it to a glass worker. He waited 8 hours and got it. He had everything he wanted. He asked his system, with it in his full control, how to make it.

He cut the eye, took what was in it and rubbed it onto the glass. He did this with three more glass panes travel back for a emergency. He did his configuration. The looking glass was active. He looked around and said "I'm going to miss this place. I had so many memories here. In this cabin. Now my adventure is over. He jumped into the glass, taking the the extra glasses with him. *!*

He tried going to his secondary form and it worked as well. He was still a god. He walked out and ran for kuno's house. He got there to see the face of who killed him.
