"This is an uncharted realm, replete with unforeseen perils. If we can locate an egress in advance, there is indubitably no necessity to linger here. Yuli, do you truly desire to engage in combat with the ghost spiders herein?"

Yuli responded, "Although I am uncertain whether the undead possess consciousness, since it has permitted us entry, I suspect it will not be concerned about our flight. Even if there exists an exit, a skirmish with the ghost spiders is likely inescapable."

This contingency is, of course, extant, and not only so but also highly probable. Just as Yuli had averred, although the undead had spared their lives, there must assuredly be a price.

"Kara, Laka..." At this moment, the demon imp leading the way suddenly emitted a subdued growl and halted.
