Start from the golden desert

Haotian set foot on the sacred continent filled with swords and magic, and awakened the lord system there. Although his territory was located in the barren Karar Desert, he nevertheless obtained the super god-level lord talent - a random military building every week. The "Elf Mother Tree" of the natural elves. And the "Dragon's Nest" of the dragon clan.

The Elves in Awe

If she had known there was a demigod in the Golden Oasis, she certainly wouldn't have come so casually. At the very least, she would have returned to the Elven Kingdom to bring another demigod for support, or even reported directly to the Elven Queen.

Though they were all Saint-ranked warriors with four Saint-ranked unicorns, they still found it hard to speak freely in the presence of a demigod.

Aurelia smiled and said, "I am indeed from the Elven race, but I am not a nature elf."

In her world, there was no such designation as "nature elf." There were only ordinary elves and high elves, with the high elves being the nobility of their kind. Just as humans have nobles and commoners, the ordinary elves were the common folk. There were also blood elves, void elves, and dark elves, but these were rare individuals who had undergone strange bloodline mutations. They were not considered separate branches of the elven race.

The Elf Lord wanted to inquire further about Aurelia's specific type of elf, but they had already reached the center of the Golden Oasis. Aurelia flew towards the City Hall ahead of them, and the Elf Lord temporarily put aside her questions. She would ask more later, as not understanding Aurelia's true identity might even cause sleepless nights for the Queen of the Elven Kingdom.

A unique elf who did not belong to any known branch appearing in the Sacred Continent was a matter of greater concern than the appearance of the Ancient War Tree. After all, the Ancient War Tree had existed in the Sacred Continent before.

"Such beautiful scenery!" exclaimed the nature elf in the green dress and flower crown. The Elf Lord and her companions shared the sentiment. The sapphire lake, the elegant forests, the fields of blooming flowers, the vast orchards, and the orderly houses all made the landscape look like a painting.

However, what marred the view for them was the sight of many desert people chopping down trees in the nearby forest, with desert wolves transporting the timber along wide roads. Nature elves revered nature and avoided disrupting it unless absolutely necessary. The sight of such large-scale deforestation was hard for them to bear, making them instinctively want to stop it.

"The grandeur and majesty of the Ancient War Tree can only be truly appreciated when standing beneath it," praised Ella, the Lord of Kryati City, indirectly diverting everyone's attention. She was genuinely moved, gazing up at the hundreds of meters tall Ancient War Tree. This tree was even larger than the Elven Mother Tree in their kingdom, resembling the one from their ancestral land.

Ella suddenly had a strange feeling that this Ancient War Tree might indeed be their ancestral tree, or at least its sibling. This thought echoed Amy's initial reaction upon first seeing the Ancient War Tree, thinking it had moved from their ancestral land to here.

"A great being must have created this Ancient War Tree," remarked the Elf Lord. She found it hard to believe that a human lord could achieve such a feat, convinced it was a gift from the Elven Goddess.

The group then entered the City Hall, where two figures stood: Sylvanas and Vereesa, the other two Windrunner sisters. The Elf Lord and her companions' expressions changed once again upon seeing them. They hadn't expected to find two more "unique elves" here, one at the peak of the Saint rank and the other at a high Saint rank.

Amy was the first to shift her gaze towards the human lord seated on what resembled a throne. Her lips parted in shock, forming an O shape. She looked as if she had seen a ghost. Just two days ago, when she last visited the Golden Oasis, Haotian was still at the Extraordinary rank. Now, he had reached the peak of the Saint rank, just a step away from becoming a demigod. Amy herself was only a high Saint rank, having been stuck at that level for over a decade. Haotian, in just a few days, had not only surpassed the Extraordinary rank but also reached the peak of the Saint rank, his advancement speed defying all logic.

The Elf Lord and Ella were equally astonished. Amy had informed them that the human lord of the Golden Oasis was merely at the Extraordinary rank, yet here he was, a peak Saint rank warrior.

"Did Amy gather all false information?" the Elf Lord wanted to chide Amy again. She refused to believe Haotian had ascended from Extraordinary to peak Saint rank in such a short time. He must have concealed his true rank, and Amy had failed to notice.

As the Elf Lord and her companions prepared to pay their respects, a soft gurgling sound came from behind. Turning, they saw a tiny, adorably cute dragon sprite fly into the hall, dressed in a golden dress and wearing a delicate crown. The sprite clutched two juicy red dragon fruits, which looked enormous compared to her tiny body. She flew over their heads, bubbling happily, her cuteness overwhelming.

Upon reaching Haotian, the dragon sprite tucked away one of the dragon fruits, then happily offered the other to Haotian, her big, watery eyes filled with expectation, like a child presenting a treasure to an adult. Haotian accepted the dragon fruit with a smile. The little sprite, delighted, climbed onto Haotian's shoulder, retrieved the hidden dragon fruit, and began nibbling on it while watching the elven visitors.

The Elf Lord and her companions were stunned into silence. This territory even had a rare dragon sprite, typically only found in the dragon's homeland, and she was at the demigod level. It was simply unbelievable!
