Trigger Task Reward. With the destruction of the gnoll army...
Haotian received 500 gold coins and a random building blueprint.
Timed Hunting Task.Currently, over 1,600 gold coins have been accumulated (double gold for humanoid monsters). Once the task timer ends, the accumulated gold can be collected. This task alone has earned Haotian a fortune. He is confident that, during the Timed Hunting Task, he will not only upgrade the Village Hall to a Town Hall but also upgrade the Royal Knight Training Grounds by one level.
Haotian used the random building blueprint. Perhaps due to good luck, he obtained a blueprint for a special building again. However, he has yet to obtain any common building blueprints like Warehouse, Blacksmith Shop, or Pharmacy.
Special Building Blueprint: Elven Spring
Building Information: A structure capable of producing Elven Spring Water.
Construction Requirements: 1,000 gold coins, 500 units of stone.
"What is Elven Spring Water?" Haotian asked the Lord System.
The response came quickly: "Elven Spring Water is a magical potion rich in life elements, capable of rapidly healing the injuries of your subjects. It also has effects on enhancing physical fitness and increasing magic power."
"Great stuff!" Haotian immediately stored the blueprint. He planned to construct it as soon as he had enough stone. The required 1,000 gold coins were not an issue, only the stone was lacking. The few hundred units of stone mined yesterday were all used up in building the Lucky Altar and five Arrow Towers.
Speaking of the Arrow Towers, they weren't used in the war. Firstly, the gnoll cavalry was too weak to reach the Village Hall. Secondly, killing enemies with the Arrow Towers wouldn't grant experience to the Royal Knights, so he didn't deploy them in the battle.
After cleaning up the battlefield, evening had arrived. Thanks to the maid Sally, it didn't take longer. Handling the corpses was the most troublesome part. Gnoll bodies couldn't be eaten or buried to avoid contaminating the Sapphire Lake water source. They had to be stripped of their equipment and then burned with fire magic. The desert coyote bodies also needed to be dissected.
On the battlefield, Haotian collected over 1,200 gold coins, various weapons and armor totaling over a thousand pieces, three blueprints, and two gold pouches. The gold pouches yielded nearly 400 additional gold coins. The blueprints included two unit quantity blueprints and one equipment blueprint. Using the two unit quantity blueprints added 60 fully armed Royal Knights to his ranks.
Equipment Blueprint
Information: Using this blueprint, your territory will unlock the ability to craft high-tier standard bows.
Special Note: Crafting requires a Blacksmith Shop and a blacksmith.
This blueprint couldn't be used immediately, so Haotian stored it in his space bag and checked his own information.
Haotian
Title: Lord, Viscount of the Stanlo Kingdom
Territory: Golden Oasis
Level: Ordinary Level 8
Lord Talent: Favored by All Races (Super God Level)
Gold Coins: 2,723
Before the war, Haotian was at level 7; now, he had advanced to level 8, matching the old butler Horden. However, he didn't level up during this war but gained enough "experience" from the Royal Knights' attack on the Blackwind Tribe.
"Over 2,700 gold coins! The speed of accumulation is beyond my expectations." Haotian had thought it would take until the next day to gather 3,000 gold coins, but now it was almost complete. Once he had 3,000 gold coins, he planned to upgrade the Royal Knight Training Grounds to level 3, allowing him to recruit more Royal Knights the next day. With the 60 Royal Knights just summoned, the total would surpass 200, enabling them to kill more monsters.
With the addition of 60 Royal Knights, the dissection of coyote bodies was quickly completed. The total yield included over 700 wolf pelts, numerous wolf teeth, and over 60 magic crystals. Additionally, nearly 10,000 units of wolf meat were collected, significantly increasing the food supply. This posed a new challenge for Haotian regarding the preservation of wolf meat. The good news was that the Blackwind Tribe was eliminated, meaning no more gnoll disturbances in salt lake mining, allowing for ample coarse salt to cure the wolf meat.
Not long after, the Royal Knight battalion returned from the Blackwind Tribe with a large haul of supplies and over 600 desert coyotes. The Blackwind Tribe had nearly 3,000 coyotes in total; some were killed, and some were captured.
"Including previous captures, my territory now holds nearly 800 desert coyotes, more than the number of Royal Knights!" Haotian wondered if these coyotes would eat wolf meat, as feeding them could be a problem. Fortunately, his worries were unnecessary. Desert coyotes didn't eat their kin's meat but eagerly devoured gray wolf meat, showing hostility between the two species.
"Master!" The old butler Horden approached energetically, smiling. "We reaped significant rewards from the Blackwind Tribe, especially in terms of food."
"Thank you for your hard work!" Haotian smiled as well. He had seen the returning team laden with large packs, all filled with supplies. Horden continued, "There are still many supplies and over 1,000 coyote corpses left at the Blackwind Tribe. The Royal Knights will need another trip." He then handed Haotian a large amount of gold and other items from his space bag. "Master, these were obtained during the attack on the Blackwind Tribe."
The haul included over 1,400 gold coins, three blueprints, and three gold pouches. The pouches yielded over 500 gold coins. The blueprints included one Warehouse blueprint and one Livestock Farm blueprint.
Ordinary Building Blueprint: Warehouse
Building Information: Allows your territory to have a warehouse capable of long-term food storage, with capacity increasing with its level.
Construction Requirements: 300 units of wood, 100 units of stone.
Ordinary Building Blueprint: Livestock Farm
Building Information: A structure for raising livestock, including but not limited to riding pets.
Construction Requirements: 500 units of wood.
