He had upgraded the [Village Hall] from intermediate to [Town Hall] in one go, and the resource consumption wasn't too overwhelming. He still had a substantial reserve of 130,000 gold coins. With just another 10,000 units of refined iron, he could upgrade the [Town Hall] to the intermediate level. However, Haotian wasn't in a hurry.

Reaching the [Town Hall] level, the resource consumption for further upgrades became staggering. According to previous ratios, upgrading to the [City Hall] would require at least 800,000 gold coins and over a million units of basic resources. It had to be done step by step. The remaining gold wasn't going to be spent on the [Town Hall] just yet. He decided to hold onto it, perhaps for upgrading [Luck Altar], [Elven Spring], or other special buildings, or for upgrading new military buildings once they were unlocked.

The extensive woods and the stone mines were all within the walls' perimeter.

In simple terms, the entire Golden Oasis had become a single entity. Outside the walls lay endless sand dunes. The Golden Oasis was an irregular oval shape, eight kilometers at its widest point and over five kilometers at its narrowest. Besides the vast open space around the Sapphire Lake, other areas were dense with woods.

The walls, encircling the entire Golden Oasis, stretched over 20 kilometers in length, an impressive feat. The wall's height was eight meters, and its thickness about six meters, made of solid blue stone. It was more of a city wall than just a simple enclosure.

But then again, this was the Holy Continent, ruled by extraordinary powers, and things couldn't be judged by conventional standards. If the [Lord System] called it a wall, then it was a wall.

"A miraculous feat!" Butler Hoden was once again astounded. "With these thick walls surrounding the entire oasis, we needn't worry about undead or monsters infiltrating our territory anymore."

"Just walls are not enough!" Haotian smiled. He then moved the 300 [Basic Arrow Towers] to the walls, spacing them about 80 meters apart. He also built numerous fortresses, integrating them with the walls, significantly boosting the territory's defenses.
